We enjoyed the hotel, and took advantage of the restaurant and atrium/pool area. It is a great place to hang out with friends and family. The fireplace and sofa area was really nice! The front desk staff was top-notch, very professional, and all staff we came in contact with at the restaurant, or otherwise, were very attentive and helpful! The beds were very comfortable, and even though the rooms have a slightly outdated, feel, were very nice. My only complaint was the pillows were very uncomfortable. It was extremely affordable and exceeded our expectations!

Check in was a breeze, reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, there were a few stains on the carpet. Unfortunately, the Complimentary breakfast was not good, most food was lukewarm and no flavor. Omelette station saved the day. Checkout was easy. Valeria was wonderful; my grandson left his dress shoes and she reached out via text to notify and make arrangements for pickup or option to donate. Overall very pleased.

My stay was for a reunion, of sorts, off property. My room was lovely and clean. The comfort level was superb. I wanted to go in the pool, but there were a lot of kids there, staying for other events, and it was virtually impossible. All is good...Alan at the restaurant was great. As was Connie and all the servers I met, during my two breakfast meals in house.

Nice stay. We’ve stayed here before, rooms are what you should expect for this type rated hotel. Breakfast is why I selected the hotel, but using disposable plates kinda lessened the experience. Some nice restaurants close enough, the area feels safe. Staff was very nice all around.

Thought it was great. BUT, the pool was closed for 2 days. No one knew how to make the Nintendo games work. There was only one ping-pong and people stayed in there for hours, no regulation on this. Was not expecting so many roadblocks as they related to a family with children.

We recently stayed at the Academy Hotel and had a wonderful stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, making for a great nights rest. Though the hotel is located a bit north of activities planned, it wasn’t a deal breaker as the area itself had plenty plenty to offer. We stopped by for ice cream when retuning to our room and it was great. The staff is awesome.

It was not good. The commode had not been flushed, when the phone wouldn’t work they came to replace and pulled out the bed and there was so much dust and filth under the bed it was disgusting. The breakfast was very good and the service at breakfast was incredible. We probably won’t stay there again.

Nice hotel with exceptional customer service thanks to Michelle! Offers a wonderful complimentary breakfast when presented your room key. Bar/restaurant is open I believe at 5pm till 10pm. We were given a $10 voucher to use there. Indoor swimming pool was inviting and open till 10pm. Large open eating and lounging area was awesome. Family and pet friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bed was absolutely top notch for a restful nights sleep. We would stay at again when next in the area.

The hotel is old and it’s really starting to show. Controlling the temp in the shower was extremely difficult! You have to tweak it, tweak it again and again … plumbing fixture needs replacement. Carpeting is old, who knows if it was clean! Free Breakfast was good!
