Nice hotel, excellent staff very helpful and friendly, food was nice, but very dirty carpets and windows, lose fixtures in the bathroom, and only a waterfall shower head no smaller shower head for rinsing, feel like the attention to detail was missing, also as a couple we were put in the wing with all family room s which wasnt ideal, our room had 3 beds which restricted the size of the room, and located with just families didnt make it a relaxing break with children screaming in the halls at 8am

Check in was very slow. Self service check in would be helpful. 4pm check in is too late. Nice hotel. Family friendly and good food.

Large hotel in Killarney. Room was okay. We booked dinner for 7:15 but were not seated until 8ish. Nice breakfast.

Good location out of main city centre with free parking. Room modern with a leafy garden view. Bathroom new and bath tub excellent. Restaurant on site very good. Service fantastic. Biggest let down was a 7.30am breakfast, this is a bit late for business commuters. There was a large queue of tourists and business guests waiting to enter in the mornings

A very large hotel resturant was not a place to sit and relax extremely busy with families and extremely loud too many dtaff with little knowledge of service. Sitting outside the fake grass on the ground was saturated with water and the was furniture filty. A plastic bottle dumped in the flower pot. Unclean carpets throughout the hotel and absolutely no attention to detail. It could be perfect with the right management snd professional staff. Breakfast was perfect 👌. More of a 3 star than 4.

Nice place , food was fantastic, some of the fitting in the room were loose coming out from the wall, the bed wasn’t made and our cups were not cleaned or tea station replenished , The cost of 2 nights B&B was nothing short of extortion, we could have flown to Spain for a week all inclusive for what it cost here for 2 nights B&B we will be avoiding a return and not recommending to others ,how they justify the cost is beyond me ,

It was a great family stay. The jurassic park was amazing. Very family friendly. The hotel was busy. Room was comfortable but could do with some updating. The family suite with fridge, microwave and sink was a great asset to have. Overall, a nice stay and we would return.

Disappointed with our stay at the Newpark. Check in was very confusing - told the room was not ready just minutes before the check in time of 4:00pm. Room was prepaid for but staff were unaware? Room furnishings seem outdated for supposedly a four star hotel. Service in the dining room was poor considering it was a buffet. Certainly not value for the money spent. Would not recommend.

Great family hotel, very friendly staff, fast service which really accomodates young children. Fabulous facilities all around and of course the Jurassic Park is an extra special place, especially for kids who love dinosaurs! So much to do without being fleeced at every turn. Family of 5 and we had an absolute ball!! Girls already asking to go again!

Newpark hotel was our last stop on our road trip through Ireland and it was a great way to end. Our check in concierge was quick with the process and managed to get us into a slightly bigger room with no issues. Our room service was quick and the food was delicious, the clam chowder was excellent.

Good hotel, ticks all the boxes. Very kid friendly with lots to do with the Dino Park and Pool. Restaurants were fine, could do with being more kid friendly, seating setup but nothing that couldn't be overcome. Sleep was good, didn't hear any noise from the many kids there. Breakfast was standard but good selection of food for all.

This was a nice property with friendly staff and good food. There were lots of families with children so it was pretty busy. The beds were a bit lumpy/worn in spots and the bathroom shower drained in such a way that you had to be careful on the floor surround.

We had a brilliant stay with our two small kids. The hotel is beautiful & everything was to a very high standard. They cater so well to families & there is loads to do on site - the dino park, playground & pool were all brilliant. There’s also a small playroom, games room & family room inside. I would highly recommend this hotel for families.

We loved this property for many reasons. The food was great. The pool and spa area was a great surprise. It was kid friendly and there was a steam room, plunge bath, hot tub and sauna for adults. There is a great petting zoo, park, dinosaur walk and fairy lane for kids. The room was a bit hot, the AC was loud and didn’t work thoroughly however it could be because it’s Ireland and we are Canadians with different weather extreme experience! Overall would recommend!

Overall a good stay however not enough towels or toiletries in the room for a-family of 4. Breakfast was ok my children and I had pancakes which were very rubbery in texture and not nice to eat.

The property is away from downtown so it takes 20 minutes to walk. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. First night there was a wedding reception that was loud until about midnight. Then people were walking the halls and talking until about 3. Next night there was another reception again people were walking the halls and talking all night long. We really could not get a good night sleep.

Had a 4 night stay here with my husband. Easy to find and lots of free parking available. Check in was easy. We were allocated a lovely room on floor 2 with a nice view of the garden. Large room with lovely bathroom - usual facilities in the room - could have done with more coat hangers as there were only 6 in the wardrobe. Breakfast was lovely - a great choice of cold and hot. We did not use the spa/pool area as had no time. We love Kilkenny and the walk into the main areas takes about 15 mins along the river for part of the way. A pleasant safe walk both there and back. Pretty quiet at night despite the hotel appearing to be quite busy in general. The only thing that I was not keen on was on Friday when we returned from our day out - we walked into the reception area and there was a large wedding ongoing and we had to fight our way through the wedding guests. We had been out on our bikes and were hot and sweaty and did feel a little uncomfortable having to walk through the throng of wedding guests - made us feel like we were gate crashing a party! There could do with being a separate entrance for these occasions. We would definitely visit again if we were staying in Kilkenny again
