Bad customer service

The hotel has mice. It was a perfect stay until mice ran across the floor

Was there for a conference. All rooms have a nice side view of the ocean. The lampshades may have been a little overdone in wicker, but it was a beachy vibe I suppose. Bar was good, catered food was meh. Disappointed there’s no indoor pool or hot tub. Overall tho the room was clean and comfy. It was a great choice for a conference. Dedicated conference space with plenty of classrooms.

I needed an ocean view and I got it. Jessica was great at check in, the room was updated, super cute and pretty roomy.

There was an additional 265.00+100 incidental pet fee which was not disclosed. Balcony was barely one and there was construction right next door. Not a quiet getaway as I had hoped.
2.5
We had an amazing one night stay. I love the decor, just the whole aesthetic of the property right there on the water.

It was everything that we needed for our stay. Staff was friendly and professional. Restaurant served great food. Overall a positive experience

While checking in they said we owed more money due to missing fees not paid through Hotels but they did remove all of them - just be aware. The front desk staff were great - we were having battery issues with our vehicle and they told us where to get it fixed and gave us directions.
The room was very comfortable, a few stains & wear marks….but overall very nice. Bathroom was updated, balcony was very small with an angled view of the ocean. Definitely not “ocean front” as indicated.
We “tried” to eat at the Tide Room - when we arrived we sat at the bar first for a cocktail but after waiting for about 5 minutes then the bartender told us it’d be at least another 10-15 minutes wait and we should go somewhere else. As we were tired and didn’t feel like driving - we begrudgingly tried the Tap Room Bar. There we had excellent service, great selection and enjoyed delicious 2 appetizers. The bartender gave us a lot of great information about the area as well.

Beautiful room, beautiful resort, loves the live music

Just OK. New furnishings made this place look modern. But it wasnt the cleanest. Floors are filthy, like maybe they vacuum but never mop. Your feet will be instantly dirty as soon as you take your shoes off, so be prepared for that. Rug was also dirty and all stained. Didnt have towels im the room when we arrived and the empty conditioner bottle was never re/filled during our stay. Otherwise staff was friendly and room had a cute balcony with ocean view. Hottest water in any hotel ive stayed. Given its OCMD and all hotels are kinda dingy and overpriced, its OK. I would personally not stay here again but it wasnt the worst.

The staff was super friendly. The bar tenders and the drinks were great. We had 1 breakfast there which was expensive and totally not worth it. (toast came in cold, the omelett was mediocre and the coffee was not good at all. We had much better luck outside the hotel.

The room had some issues the outlet and bathroom

The check in was smooth. A trainee checked us in & was most pleasant and professional. The room, 716, was adequate. Good space but really needs a lounge chair, something other than the 2 hardbacked table chairs. Lighting was extremely poor. After dark with all 3 lights on you still could not see to do anything. Had to keep the TV on for light. The TV had very few viewing options and the remote did not function properly. At 10am when getting into bed the 1st night, the sheets were dirty, filled with sand; obviously not changed after the last occupant. We called & housekeeping came right away and changed both beds. The bathroom was a challenge. The toilet seat was broken. We called for a repair but there was a maintenance emergency . However, once that was resolved there was no follow up re: toilet seat. The shower head is just not functional- no options no functions- you need a standard shower head. The tub floor had very worn skid resistant strips- need to be upgraded. And although we did not request an accessible bathroom, there truly needs to be at least one grab bar in the shower, especially when the tub floor is sooooo slippery. The door is much too narrow! You need to upgrade your complimentary toiletries---very low end. I had to go out to buy shampoo. The Ironing Board cover is very worn & needs replacing and finally, the Coffee Maker, although a name brand, is not adequate; you need at least a 4 - 6 cup drip coffee maker with coffee options. Thanks for the water.

We had a nice time during our stay even though there were 2 weddings and a business conference. The staff was very nice and helpful.
I will say that getting 4 emails with a welcome letter was a bit ridiculous.

Concierge during checkout was very rude and sarcastic just bc I gave him back the parking pass by mistake. Stay was decent until that last encounter which left a nasty taste in my mouth

Hospitality was good. We were happy with our stay compared to other hotels we visit in OC. Knowing that it is the end of the season, we knew that somethings would not be available or would be limited. The overall staff were very kind and helpful. Food was good (Crab deviled Eggs delicious)

$265 pet fee per stay (Crazy… And the rooms have laminate floors!) and a weird small triangular “balcony” impossible to sit out on are 2 reasons I won’t stay here again.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean, the decor was up to date, and the hotel felt safe. It was very beach, like a Caribbean resort. The rooms were spacious. The downfalls: there was basically no balcony. Only enough area for one person. No microwave. Parking was tight on the weekend. But the fact that the hotel and room was so nice made for the downfalls. I would definitely go back!

I love the sun room to relax and read
the beach chairs and umbrella even though is first come first serve

I loved our location. The only negative piece of our stay was we weren't aware it was Bike Week. Our quiet ocean sounds were replaced with roaring motorcycles.

Resort was beautiful, however rooms were dated and did not compare to the beauty and location of the property

We loved the room, but we thought housekeeping too early (before 9am) and when we asked them to come back to clean the room they didn’t. We were at the resort for 2 days, so it would have been nice to have a clean room.

Our second stay here. Clean comfortable and friendly. No complaints. Cleaning crew is top notch. Beach service is 5 star. It gets busy but they handle it all appropriately.

Quality accommodations at a great price.

Love the convenience of location, the eating and drinking area options provided both relaxation and fun vibes, and convenience of getting to the beach was perfect. Beach wash station needs an upgrade for a resort like Ashore should be more modern.

Horrible experience, will not go back. The only person there who is friendly and willing to help is Alexandria.
Otherwise, staff is rude. We had to struggle daily for a cleaned room and fresh towels. I will never return!

The location of the resort was great and convenient since it was located right on beach. There is also a restaurant in the resort which had a nice ambience and the good was good. The only issues that we had with the hotel was the pet fee for our small dog. The fee is $250, which is quite high compared to other hotels that we have stayed at. Also, I did not see anything about the pet fee in their policies when I booked the reservation, so it took us by surprise. Just want people to be aware of this high fee when they make their reservation at this resort. Also, for dog owners, there is really no space to walk your dogs on the property, no side dog park, just the street sidewalks. We drove to a park to walk our dog. Just another small piece of information for dog owners. Other than that, the resort is very nice and is a great place for a long weekend getaway.

Great amenities, clean room, accommodating staff

We enjoyed our stay at Ashore Resort & Beach Club very much. It was a great experience, the food, the staff members, the room, facilities. Everything was great. We start to planning our next visit to your resort.
I have a small suggestion that it may make the experience better. I am not sure that all the rooms are designed the same way. If it is the case, there not enough lightening/lamp around the bed area. You cannot read a book easily.

The rooms were extremely dark and dated, the facility has wooden doors and was not up to par with what was advertised on the website. We had paid for a beach fee and didn’t get our water and they ran out of beach materials.

Expedia charged me for this room however arriving at the hotel I didn’t have a room. I called Expedia and agents would hang up the phone. One finally assisted me to tell me I had no booked room and before I could respond he hung up. Never ever will use Expedia and will make sure my friends and family do not as well.

bought a high floor room and once you get there they tell you there’s no room available or they don’t have a room under your name happened to multiple people while my significant other and i only stayed for 2 nights

When we arrived the room smelled as if the floors were cleaned with a spoiled mop.
