Receptionist was very hospitable.

On the end of town I needed it to be. A little outdated in my room, had to switch rooms in the middle of the stay.
3.8
Property smelled, wallpaper peeling in room. Musty smell in halls, lobby and stairwells. Horrible odor in lobby as well.
3.8
The property is older but it was clean. The cellular service inside the building was really bad and the WIFI did not work.
3.8
Appreciated the warm welcome after a long ride. Having a great restaurant onsite is also key!
3.8
Average. Close to Lakes and Hockey arena.
3.8
Very dated, no elevator, breakfast was very limited, ac unit was very loud, and the restaurant was not open. They are living on their reputation not the current standards for comfortable pleasant night stay.
3.8
Checknin was quick and fast. Our room smelled of stale urine. Bathrooms were very outdated and small. We were able to switch rooms and the staff was very accommodating after requesting to move. Breakfast was ok, not many options.
3.8
Had an on site restaurant. Very convenient.

We checked and went to our room. Sat on the couch in the room and within 5 started getting bit by bugs. There was a partial chew dog chew stuck in the couch. Complained and was moved to another room upstairs. No refund was giving. Left early to go home, but thought we would get some free continental breakfast on the way out. It was chopped up summer sausage, frozen egg patties and eggs waffles. Needless to say, we didn’t eat and just wrote it off as the worst stay I’ve ever had.
3.8
Wi-Fi and phone service extremely poor

My husband and I have a recent history of mold toxicity. This in turn makes us both hypersensitive to mold spores. So, the room smelled horrible as soon as we entered. It smelled very musty and like old urine. The towels & washclothes are about 5 years past retirement. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. We came to Watertown to visit family. We decided to make the best of it but the night before our departure I had to take my husband to the ER for a mold sensitivity reaction. He was treated and then we returned to sleep and leave in the morning for home. Overnight he began to become violently ill again and I noticed an active leak from the toilet. I saw black mold up under the back of the toilet. Tons of moisture in the room. When we left I alerted the front desk of the leak and her response was that the water lines sweat and this always happens in the warmer months. Essentially a breading ground for mold spores. To be fair there is a lot of flooding in the Midwest currently so there are more mold spores in the air, but in combination with what is going on in that room, really put his immune system into overdrive. Wierd how as soon as I got him to the car, he immediately started feeling better. My suggestion is to keep looking for a different hotel like the Holiday Inn Express. Ramkota is way over priced for a Red Roof Inn experience.

Parking lot is run down continental breakfast was absolutely a joke it was basically just cereal

Staff is mostly nice however the AC in 138 is not working at all it was down right hot in that room and it wasn’t that hot outside they need to get that looked at ASAP

Nice place to stay

The beds were just hard overall the location is good but the price i paid just doesnt equal what you get wont do that again
3.8
It was a good stay. Rooms could use an update but other wise it was an awesome stay.
3.8
The staff was amazing! They were so nice. I would stay here again for sure.
3.8
Check in was extremely unfriendly. The whole property is in need of updating. The rooms are dark and dingy and in obvious need of repair. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms and sitting area outside.
3.8
Absolutely filthy dirty hallways and room horrible smell, beds with pubic hairs , stains on all 3 beds , sketchy neighborhood, dark outside ….. didn’t even stay. Abandoned the room and found a new lace to stay . Went to Ramada down street and that front desk person said it happens a lot people come there after checking into their rooms . Do not stay or book here !!!!!!

The staff was very friendly

It was a place to stay but breakfast was not great and voffee was luke warm.
3.8
I hate when a property is not anywhere near full but I’m put on an upper floor with no elevator. Really? You have no rooms below me? I have to drag a big bag up the stairs and there probably isn’t 2 dozen rooms being used?
3.8
Place was ok. Bath tub didn’t hold water and could update their coffee makers otherwise it was fine
3.8
Lobby smelled like gas,
3.8
The rooms need updating.
3.8
Very friendly and helpful staff.
3.8
Disappointed we were not told the pool was not working properly & either was the hot tub, we could not use at all
3.8
The hotel was just okay. The room was incredibly small with windows that looked it a random hallway. No windows to the outside. The bed was very firm. Breakfast was meh. Not a lot of options.
3.8
Bed was very firm and not comfortable for me. Allows pets so expect to hear barking throughout your stay, was woken up multiple times. Breakfast was disappointing, nothing prepared fresh. Highlight was breakfast sandwich from fridge I microwaved, they did have grated cheese sitting out to put on sandwich...? Not even slices, lol. Juice in boxes had off taste.
3.8
The Continental breakfast was cold and the room door was hard to open.
3.8
Older property but still decent

I had two rooms booked yesterday but we had an emergency on the road so we were unable keep our reservation. I called the hotel and they would have made an exception and refunded my money. I will never use Expedia again, best to book directly through the hotel as they would have refunded me.
3.8
Ok place to stay. Bar and supper at Minerva’s was great, complimentary breakfast just ok.
3.8
Very average and small rooms different from the pictures shown. No elevator and quite a confusing layout of rooms. Multiple very noisy vending machines along the corridors too.
3.8
The breakfast here was wonderful - I didn't expect an event hotel to do such a good continental spread. The room was comfortable. We did have an issue with the bathroom door, though. It was a sliding barn door and it didn't lock, so it was hard to maintain any degree of privacy especially because we were traveling with a toddler who thought it was really fun to open and close the door.
3.8
Very disappointed in the breakfast selection. For this price I expected some hot choices. Not even toaster waffles. Water pressure in shower was not good either and apparently even though checkout is 11, we were advised that the water would be turned off at 9am for repairs. Just not a pleasant stay for us. Won't stay again.
3.8
The room was good and the staff was very friendly. Sadly the pool was full of hair.
3.8
The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and professional.
