First room which was supposedly a nonsmoking room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. Staff did quickly apologize and sought to get a room that was better. Second room just smelled old but it was fine. Lobby was very cleaned and smelled fantastic so the actual rooms were a bit of a surprise

This Best Western Plus was the work stay my wife and I have ever experienced. We did reserve the room and oay through a third party. After we arrived we were told it was an outside entrance unit, which did not offend us. When we walked into the room, which was not carpeted we were greeted with 3 roaches that i had to personally kill. The king size matress was so old it sunk in the middle and the foot of the matress was at least 3 inched above the headboard end, which made for a very uncomfortable night. No to say that the balcony on the second floor was so old that every person who walked by woke you up. The walls were so thin we also heard people takling next door until 2 AM. The coffee pot had not been cleaned and required to be moved over to a plug that worked. The best part of our 3 hours of sleep was getting up and leaving.

Stepping into the lobby it is fresh, clean, spacious, elegant. The quality and friendly service at the reception and the throughout the hotel is matching to the first impression. The breakfast deserves special mention with the plentiful selection including cooked food.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Thanks to Sarah and Danielle who work at the front desk for their great customer service and switching my room twice to make sure I was happy. Stayed for a week and would definitely stay there again.

Our room definitely smelled of cigarette smoke, on the back side of the motel it seems people congregate outside and smoke and it wafts into all of those rooms. We tried to get moved to a different room but were told it was sold out. The bathroom was really dirty too, there were black hairs everywhere. The sink faucet barely turned on, definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Overall, our stay wasn’t bad. The lady at the front desk didn’t give us breakfast hours, but otherwise the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was pretty good. HOWEVER, I highly highly suggest booking this hotel on their actual website and avoiding Expedia. We booked a standard king room about 2 months prior to our stay. When we checked in, we were given an outside room. I was confused because none of the photos showed outdoor rooms and the listing didn’t mention anything about there being outdoor rooms. I questioned the lady at the front desk and she told me all Expedia bookings are put outdoors, but because they know it doesn’t say, they always upgrade if they have room, they just didn’t have room today. I was understandably upset because I’m no way in the booking process was there even an inkling that an outdoor room was possible. If there was, I never would’ve booked it as I do not stay in outdoor rooms. I contacted Expedia who told me that I wasn’t guaranteed a room type, which I disagree with since photos showing indoor spaces & no mention of outdoors would seem to point to an indoor room. The Expedia customer service called the hotel (which I said not to do) and the hotel offered a full refund if we checked out. I appreciate that, but I was told I had to decide right then and there otherwise they’d charge me for the night! Obviously that isn’t enough time to find other accommodations on a holiday weekend. All to say - fine hotel if you get “upgraded.”

The night Checkin lady on 09/2 was great. The room smelt like cat piss along with everything in the room. Bed was mad but the floor was trashed. Empty Candy wrappers everywhere. Just horrible trashy room. The beds are old, you sink in to the bottom. If you have back issues you will hate it

The hotel was much nicer than I expected. The AC was a little noisy but I sleep with a noise machine so it did t bother me at all. The bed and room were very comfortable. We had a really great breakfast at the hotel. It even had a pancake machine.

Why won’t they clean the black algae from the pool? The have been told so many times in reviews that I wish I had read before I went there. They just don’t care. It’s growing up the walls and all over the steps.

Smelly Moldy . Unsafe. 2 minutes in and we decided to forefeit our reservation. Thank god for the staff we were able to cancel the booking. Do not be fooled by the best western brand.

The staff was very friendly, from the front desk, breakfast attendant and housekeepers. The halls were a little dirty but someone was vacuuming the next day. The room had a musty smell and someone may have smoked in that room. They may have tried to reduce the smell but for those of us with sensitive noses, we can smell it. So, I went to wallmart down the street and picked up some air febreeze and fabric freshner and that did the trick. Room was other wise decent but could use an update. A/C stayed nice and cool the whole time. Bed was comfortable. It was an overall good stay. Those minor details can be fixed. I didn't mind buying a few products to make it better. Oh, breakfast was good but could use variety, it was the same thing every day. I would stay again.

I love how friendly the staff are! This is my second time staying at the property and I look forward to my next visit. I really enjoyed the new restaurant Banana Leaves!! Thank you to all of the staff for such an awesome experience!
