Regardless of the power being out the carpet smelled moldy and the general upkeep of the building was lacking.

We checked in just before hurricane hit the area. Lost power for 12 hours or so but the staff was kind and provided water and snacks to its guests. Power and internet was available in the lobby despite dark rooms. Once restored stay was wonderful, rooms clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I feel like for the price, room service should be available all day. I needed a plate for my room so i could properly eat some food i brought with me but was unable to get that at the time i arrived. Staff is friendly enough and willing to help. My room had a strange smell to it. Like mustard... at least thats how it felt to me. but it was clean. Must be a smell left from paiting or something. I would book again for the correct price.

My experience with Hotels.com was horrible. Thankfully the hotel service was excellent. Hotels.com messed up my reservation and did nothing to fix except keep me on the phone for two hours passing me from person to person. The hotel tried working with Hotels.com but the website service was not cooperating. I worked with the hotel to get me a room, unfortunately not the same rate but at least I had a place to stay in a sold out situation.

Booked the Hyatt after purchasing tickets for a nearby downtown show. Wonderful stay. Room was spacious and comnfortable. Nice to be able to walk to the show.

We got an upgrade because they didnt have a "Main Street Room". The upgraded room was nice with lots of windows but the view was not all that great. HERE IS THE RUB - NO HOT WATER. OUR SHOWERS WERE TEPID AT BEST. When we mentioned this to staff at checkout, they did not seem to care and did not offer a discount or comp of any kind. I was a bit dissapointed. Greenville is an awesome place with lots of restaurants and beatiful downtown. This hotel is walking distance to everything but the old bulding is getting a little tired and starting to show.

My review is about management. We stayed in Hyatt Regency Greenville, SC from June 26th, to June 30 2024 in room 602. One day we returned to our room and saw three men were working on the internet box. I asked management why we were not notified because lost internet connections is not an emergency to enter our room without a permission. The management should contacted their guests via notice under the door or text message about this event. The manager Owen apologized and to reimbursed us for our disturbance offered us a valet parking and free breakfast at Roost restaurant. The accepted and said thank you. Next day the internet maintenance people came again without any notice and just knocked on our door. Moreover, when we checked out I asked front desk person to get me a printed statement just to make sure that there is no charges. The receptionist said "No worries. There is a $0 balance on your statement" and never gave it to me. Few weeks later I was reviewing my credit card statement to find out that there is a charge. I called and spoke with the manager Owen and he said "sorry, there is a mistake. We will reimburse you". I got just a partial reimbursement and called Owen again. Finally, I got a full amount. The management should done a better job providing a safe environment in the hotel. P.S. I want to compliment chief of Roost restaurant. Excellent food. We really enjoyed our breakfast. Thank you

It was very chaotic from the moment we pulled into the front area to unload our luggage. The guy trying to get us to use valet parking was very pushy and disrespectful. Then, they informed us of a $125 pet fee, which was unknown prior. One night stay…$125 pet fee! This was not highlighted on Hotels.com. All the checkin woman was able to say is, “it’s on our website.” The room was not comfortable and overpriced. The garage was hard to get out of and had to call the attendant because the stupid machine would not take the ticket. Overall, a very bad experience. I have stayed in this hotel several times before, but I won’t stay there again. Oh, and the “grass” in the areas surrounding the hotel…astroturf. Everything here is plastic and fake.

We were there for a quick anniversary trip to see the sites in Greenville. Location was excellent. Right downtown and We walked everywhere we went. Hotel was beautiful and very well equipped. Wished we had been there longer to check out the comedy club right across the street! Great hotel. I highly recommend.

The location was great and the hotels staff was very friendly. Our room was on the 7th floor and the elevators were really quick. Parking was very convenient. We used the pool and it was clean and the area was relaxing. Would stay here again.

A tiny bit dated but a decent stay. Bathroom sliding doors are a pain. TV sizes were superb! If you use City parking instead of $ Valet, it's credit card exit only, $5 to $7 every time you leave a public garage, just to go eat out! Not happy on that. 1 small outdoor pool on 3rd floor, no indoor pool. Stay away from pet rooms if allergic. Best part: housekeeping found my cellphone I'd forgotten. Returned to me. Thanks!!

Hotel seemed old…. Our bathroom door had a doorknob that was falling off…. There was dust on the trim of the bathroom door….. the first room that was assigned to me had a tiny window and it was located in a tight corner with a bank of air conditioners blaring …. And there were three men in my room working on the Wi-Fi … I knew my friend with PTSD would not have survived the weekend esp with the noise and lil window … a trip to the front desk and they happily changed my room and apologized …. Will definitely come back
