Wonderful hotel— room and service great. Absolutely loved the pool— warm and so inviting for our grandchildren. Only downside was no place to get coffee in the morning.

Very nice hotel in tenderloin. Close to Powell BART and cable car turn around. My room was a single queen and was on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Nice pool and workout space.

Overall decent stay. They have a good sushi restaurant, but dine-in only. This would not be such an issue but the room servie is limited. Also, an offer for an upgraded room was sent earlier in the week. I accepted the offer only to find out upon checking in that the request was not able to be granted.

The Nikko is located in the heart of DT San Francisco, so all meetings were in walking distance. There was professionalism from the minute I walked into the hotel to the time I checked out.

Hotel is very expensive. I was supposed to be given a $25 a day food credit and I had to argue with three people in order to get it and only for one day. Also, the hotel had promised a free upgrade and refused to honor it. Meanwhile there is a $40+ dollar per day "resort fee" when you are one block from the worst part of the Tenderloin and there are screaming drug addicts outside the room all night. They also charge a very hefty security deposit to your card -- $500 in my case. And the room service foot is excessively expensive: an omelet was $39 and salmon (no sides, no drink) was $60. The gym and pool are nice but the hotel is very poor value compared to nearby options. Stay somewhere else!

The hotel is clean and has everything you need. However the check in was slow and it took over 45 mins for my bags to arrive my room which is a joke. Parking is valet only and it's very expensive. The area surrounding the building is filled with homeless and druggie.

We stay here annually because of the staff and the quality facility. Sadly, we cannot eat at the restaurant or in room dining as much as we’d like because we have family with celiac and the restaurant has limited options. We have enjoyed breakfasts, but that’s really it.

Great costumer service. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Didnt like that a block from the hotel felt unsafe for tourists to walk around, but the staff informed us about the areas to visit and the ones to avoid, very benefitial. Overall, great experience!

Hotel policy is to hold $125 per night of your stay. They will hold on to this for 10 days after you leave. So if like us you use a card to transfer currency. You will not have access to this even after you leave the hotel. We was staying in this hotel for 3 nights. Having checked out the hotel we went on a trip staying elsewhere. They did not release my funds back to me. Coming back to this hotel again, they asked again for another $125 per day. This therefore left us with basically no money to spend on our holiday.

Everything at this property was great. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The valet service was convenient and I liked that it was on site and safe vs parking in a random garage. The room was clean and very comfortable. Location was close to many restaurants and walkable to union square and public transportation. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future.

We were not in our room much, felt safe, on-site parking a plus, easy check-in. We brought our dog with us as the hotel was dog friendly however, the on-site restaurant said no dogs. The restaurant manager gave us an option to sit in the couch area in the lobby and brought our food and drinks there. Sushi was amazing. His service was fantastic and they found a way to accommodate us, which made our stay great. The restaurant manager is amazing!
