This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel with lots of wonderful amenities in central Long Beach. The pool was heated, walking distance to anything you could need and a convenient coffee shop and CVS vending machine on site.

Nice location, many options to walk for dining and entertainment. Staff helpful and friendly. Room was outdated, beds were smaller than expected for a queen and uncomfortable, room was really small for the price. Hotel was quite large with a little lake out front, lobby was nice and open, nice ambiance overall. I had higher expectations overall for comfort being a Hyatt

Check in was great. The bellman was awesome, very personable. However the shower holder in the bathroom came off in my hand when trying to adjust direction of the spray. We were unable to put the holder back on the wall. Had to use the shower as a hand held. I did report it to the front desk and hopefully it was repaired.

Perfect hotel for cruises. Hotel is very nice! Walking distance to lots of restaurants. Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay great. We will definitely stay here again when cruising out of Long Beach!

The hotel was nice and clean but the beds, oh my gosh, terrible, they need to invest in some better mattress. Every night sleep was the worst I have slept in years. I wouldn't go back because of that.

Hotel itself was very well maintained. Quiet. Front desk and bell services staff were EXCELLENT. But check-in was a hot mess. We arrived a few hours before 4pm check-in time, but it wasn't until almost 5pm that we were assigned our room. And that was only because I went back to the desk to demand it because we were tired of waiting. And they don't extend check-out time to make up for their delay. The lobby looked like an airport terminal with people and their luggage waiting for their rooms. Bell services ran out of room to store luggage and started piling it behind the front desk staff. Thankfully, I've stayed here before and know it's not normally like this. But it was bad this trip.

Very noisy hotel and the fire alarm went off two times during the stay, one of the times it was 4am and we had to walk down from 12th floor, before we were told it was a false alarm. The staff in the food market is very unpolite. no decent breakfast, missing a good kitchen/chef.

Spent the weekend here for a 2 day music festival. Hotel had extra elevators to accommodate late night guests returning to hotel. Parking easy. Convenient to lots of restaurants and shops. Market open late for food and snacks. Great pool area. Thought we had an in room fridge but turns out it's only a "cooler". Beds comfortable but walls a little thin as we could here neighbors.

Everything was pretty regular for it being so expensive. It was a Saturday tho .. I was very disappointed in the extremely small beds the double beds say Queen but they are definitely extended twin beds smh and the king beds look like Queen beds .. also make sure you get your receipt BEFORE you leave and check your charges front acted like they couldn’t confirm if my parking was payed in advanced so they tried to charge me an extra 45$ for valet I insisted they take a look that I had prepaid and after 20+ minutes decided I only owed 5$ more smh .. then they were charging me for someone else’s room order good thing I had my receipts and disputed before I left they fixed that as well. Also I noticed more than a couple elderly people disputing their charges as well. Smh.. for being so “hi-end” do better will not be returning thank you.

I really liked that the Outlet Mall and dining options near the Marina are walkable and safe even at night. Jeremy was incredibly welcoming and let me check in early and found me a room right away. I had great interactions will all Hyatt employees during my stay. I will recommend to family and friends if visiting Long Beach.

We needed a place close to Carnival docks and that was perfect! We also needed an earlier check in as we got to the hotel before 11:00 am. We were told our rooms would be ready soon and we should go out and enjoy the pool. We didn’t get a room until after 4:00 pm. We appreciate the extra kindness from the senior staff and in particular the gentleman we checked out with the next day.

My wife and I were staying here for our Wedding and Rehearsal night. The first night I got there the sink was leaking when turned the water on the sink, which is fine they can fix the next day, but there was a couple bugs I killed on the cover and didn't think much of it at the time in the dark. The morning after our Wedding in the day my wife noticed the bed bug and I killed it and there was blood on the sheets from squishing it. I let them know at the front desk when leaving and received apologies. I have been trying to get a hold of the GM of this Long Beach location, but haven't heard back. I doubt I will receive a response, I hope they burned the mattress in the room and sheets. Just super frustrating when I thought this was one of the top hotels in the area and then it's not clean.

The location was fantastic as well as the customer service. The lobby and property as a whole were very nice, but the rooms themselves are pretty run down. Still fairly nice, but they definitely need some TLC. Mysterious red hairs on the countertops were off putting, but I’d stay again.

A valet service was unpleasant. I had a wheel chair but nobody helped for loading and unloading it from a car. It must be nicer if there was an extra hands to help.
