All the staff I interacted with were friendly, professional, helpful and went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest. The hotel is in a great location and is beautifully kept

One elevator was broken during our entire trip so it took a long time to go up and down on the elevator. Our room wasn’t cleaned the first two days we were there. The location was perfect for us.

I love the hotel and would love to give it 5 stars but I hate the air conditioner. This is my 2nd stay in this hotel and we had the same problem. I assumed it was just that room but it was the same problem, different room. We had maintenance come to check the air and he said it should cool of in about 30 minutes but it never did. So for 2 nights we had to sleep in a warm, uncomfortable room. For this reason, I just don’t think I can stay there again.

We came in for the Eras Tour and everyone was so nice and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. There was only one working guest elevator which caused some back up with most people going to the concert at the same time. The dynamic pricing for our stay was a hard pill to swallow but the closeness to the stadium and the ease of navigating around the area was very convenient.

Hotel staff was incredibly friendly. The valet service went above and beyond to make it a good experience.
The location is ideal for easy access to the Superdome and delicious restaurants within walking distance.
The breakfast buffet was overpriced so I would not recommend that.

Room was comfortable, service was friendly, and location was quiet but walkable to bourbon street and the Superdome.

I slept so well, the linens and pillows were fabulous. Not enough creamer in the room but that is standard fare these days. My coworker didn't have enough warm water their shower but mine was fabulous! Everyone is very pleasant. Nicest hotel I ever stayed in and walking distance to grocery store well stocked with wine and food, cool coffee shop etc.

Beautiful lobby undergoing renovation. Bed was comfortable.

Impressive decorations in hotel. Hotel smelled very clean. Elevators are small. Room had some wallpaper peeling a bit but overall very nice room. Never saw the PBJ sandwiches - even during the specified time frame they were to be served- not sure if they just got eaten fast. Good hotel location. Close to lot of things- walking distance to French Quarter.

Unique and great experience- don’t stay in a chain hotel this hotel offers more culture, service and fits the mood and ambience of the New Orleans experience

We have stayed at this property 8-10 times and will not return. During our stay, there was only one working elevator that could hold 4-5 people. Waiting for the elevator took 7-15 minutes since it would arrive on our floor full of people every time. As a result, we had to carry our suitcases up and down the stairs.
We were also charged a $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE cleaning fee for our dog at check-in despite never causing any need for it or being advised of this fee when booking our stay. Mind you, this fee exceeded the cost of the room itself. To say you’re a “pet friendly” hotel when booking is a hypocrisy when you price gauge them upon arrival with this bullcrap excessive cleaning fee. I seriously doubt the service staff clean the room following our stay any more than they do following a regular stay, which lately is the bare minimum. Also, heads up, you have to walk to walk to the nearest park (4 blocks away) for your dog to
use the restroom. They have no place at the property or nearby for dogs to do their business. This is not lovely early in the morning or late at night with this city's latest crime trends. Again, this property is not really pet-friendly.

The staff was very kind! It is a very stylish hotel. Our room had a special filtration and air purifier which was a nice upgrade!

The room was a 6/10 in terms of cleanliness. We saw 1-2 roaches in our room when we first entered. Not something you want to see on the first night haha.

No hot water and the staff was rude

The staff was great. Expedia booked the rooms incorrectly and there was nothing the staff could do unfortunately. We had some issues w the toilet and the shower.. staff made up for a lot, but there is only so much they can do.

Elevators have not worked well in this hotel for the past 20 years. Still the same.

Overall Id say this hotel was decent. It was pretty to look at but there were small things that were annoying. The beds are full sized rather than queen so not ideal for sharing. The hotel didn't have ice machines. You could request ice from the front desk but it was frozen into a large solid chunk in a bag.

We stayed for one night and our flight in was later than expected. A manager called to confirm we were still planning to stay. It was nice to have a personal call. I couldn’t really as I was going through airport security. I was worried the accommodations weren’t available. When we arrived we were upgraded to a large, beautiful suite. It was beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer. We were very grateful for the kindness we were shown!

The shower was not clean. There was mold in the grout around the shower tiles. The shower doors did not seal, so there was always water on the floor. The blackout curtains did not effectively cover the windows at night, so it was very bright in my room. One of the elevators did not work, so it took a very long time to get up and down. The bathrooms are also very small. The valet staff was excellent.

The upside down pictures on the wall. It must tell a story. The chandeliers hanging all over the Lobby was incredible.
It was our first time in New Orleans, but I hope to make it back. The Ladies in the Dining Room were all pleasant, and not forgetting the Front Desk and the Young men at the door, they were great.
Hands Down NOLA.

Front desk manager, Paula, made our wedding anniversary stay extra special! The hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean. Our room was beautiful and serviced on the days we wanted. Having the hotels PB&J sandwich treat was such a special treat for guests coming back to hotel after a long day exploring NOLA! This is an excellent place to stay when visiting NOLA! Highly recommended!

It's a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Things need to be updated in the rooms but the lobby is very nice. The staff are pleasant, especially in the morning.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were a nice size and clean.
My only dislike was the elevator. Only one guest elevator worked and it was small. Hoping it is fixed soon.

Centrally located, full of charm and SMART design. The vanities with outlets in my room were such a nice touch. I live in New Orleans and needed a room for an emergency stay but will now add this to my stay-cation list simply because I enjoyed it so much. I look forward to trying the restaurant and bar at my return.

I love the history of the building and the timeless feel. Being caught of guard with a $500 deposit at check-in is way above any hotel I've stayed at before. and a historical fee at checkout that was never mentioned before was pretty damn annoying.
4.0 / 10.0
The bathroom was nasty. Pee all over the commode. Only 1 elevator worked the entire time. Breakfast was good but over priced. Parking way too expensive. Tourism fees of $20 per night is ridiculous since a lot of things didn’t work at hotel
