Beautiful property. Lovely staff. Comfortable room and we loved the pool. Suggest for $350 euro you get to use the hot tub and steam. Charging extra for this, along with breakfast seems excessive.

I was solo and was a little worried about where I would stay in France. I could not have found a more friendly, accommodating and clean hotel. I stayed 10 days and felt like friends with owner and staff by the time I left. Highly recommend this out of the hustle and bustle of San Raphael hotel! The pool - magnificent!

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Little things like giving us some water and treats as was left was a nice touch. The hotel is quiet and tranquil - the pool is lovely and our ground floor room had a lovely terrace. It is an easy drive to the beach but was nice to be away from the busyness. Car parking was easy at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the most fabulous boutique hotel situated 5 minutes outside the Raphaél city centre. Here there is calm and trees. Also the pool area is great, clean, large and welcomming. We stayed in the suite with two kids who had their own seperate bedroom and bathroom. There’s a courtyard with jacuzzi. All private. The hotel is neatly decorated with art pieces everywhere you look. A nice bonus to this place is the sbsolutely magnificent staff. This hotel is NOT 3 stars. Its more likely 4 or 5. So the price for the rooms is a bargain!

It is our third stay but if the conditions do not improved we will not be back. The pool surrounding needs to be attended, it is shabby, the trees (some needs to be cut) let their needles and flowers in the pool and during our 11 days stay we have never seen the pool being vacuumed. People with long hair should tied it up, it is not pleasant to have a long blond hair across your face while you swim or use the spa. Someone complained that the shower stall was not draining (it is outside under trees) and mosquitoes starting to gather in the water.??? Also a sign mentions that a foot bath must be used before entering the pool, it does not exist and it is quite a way from the shower stall. The trees needles and flowers stick to your feet and end up in the pool. There are many "no smoking" signs which are totally ignored, we are outside but an area should be reserved for smokers and they should clean their ashtrays which are left full on tables between the lounge chairs. There is obviously not enough staff to keep the place in better conditions and if the direction complains about the guests smoking in their rooms, they should charge them an extra night for the airing of the room. The friends whom we visit in the area had recommended this place but this year are aware of the overall degradation of the place. It needs tender loving care. Do NOT rest on your past reputation, keep it up

We booked this hotel as a last minute break for 5 nights, we upgraded the room to have a terraced for not much more money. Glad we did as we were just round the corner from the swimming pool and restaurant. The hotel is one of the best three star hotels we’ve stayed in. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, spacious and clean and had a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. We were on a room only basis so for the first 3 nights were ate out, however on the 4th evening the hotel restaurant were doing a wine tasting evening so we decided to do that. We wished we had tried the restaurant sooner as the service and food was amazing and thought very reasonably priced, so much we went back for our final nights evening meal the next day. Would definitely recommend both the hotel and restaurant and will hopefully be back.

We enjoyed our stay very much the only minor problem was that the first room we had was very dark and clostrofobic,however we requested a change which was dealt with very quickly with no fuss,the air conditioning was broken for the first 6 days of our stay but repaired for the remainder,pool area very good and as was the restaurant,breakfast was very good,staff were very friendly and helpfully.

A beautiful area and very pleasing and comfortable interior. My room was very clean and although the shower was a bit small the rest of the equipment was perfect. Food quality was very good. The staff is very nice although not always as professional as one would expect. I will certainly come again as it has fulfilled my expectations of a quiet and restful stay.

We came to the hotel on the afternoon, we checked-in and were escorted to our room by the hotel receptionist.The lobby seemed appealing at first but the couches in there were dirty and dusty.The room it self was poor looking and poorly maintained.Although it was hot there no option to turn on the AC, as we were told the hotels system was set to heating.Later on we tried to reserve seats to the hotels restaurant but the receptionist said I am eating now but you can go and reserve by yourself.The dinner at the hotels restaurant was just not good.The service itself on the other hand was excellent.At morning time after a fair night sleep, all we wanted was to quickly escape...All in all the summary says it all: Disappointment.

Don't spend more for a terrace as its a tiny postage stamp sized bit of gravel outside the room overlooking a car park with several others - rusty small round table and chairs. My room didn't have a phone even. Bathrooms appear to have been updated a bit. Redeeming feature if the restaurant where we had a very good set price dinner by the pool. Staff in the main very friendly and helpful. Car park was very full and ended up down the far end which is full of deep pot holes.

We had a really good stay at the Hotel San Pedro. We were concerned following some of the recent reviews but our room and bathroom were very good and clean. If you like something a bit individual you will enjoy this hotel. The pool is excellent and the restaurant served very good food. We would definitely return.

Seriously bad! We paid upfront for 2 nights but left after 1 without a refund (the hotel would not oblige ) it was horrible, damp , mosquito filled dark hallways , room was minimal and like waking up inside a truffle chocolate in the dark! I kid you not ! Room 4 Bon whatever on the wall is horrific! Avoid at all cost! Oh and the blankets were covered in suspicious crusted stains! I actually slept in out car I was so offended !

The hotel itself was beautiful. However, when I went to sleep the mattress was the softest I have slept on. Very uncomfortable. I went to ask at reception if I could change room as maybe it was just the twin bed in my room but found it closes at 10pm. Slept for 2 to 3 hours and had a stiff back in the morning.
