Amazing place in the middle of the woods just minutes away from the busy city center. The cleanliness and customer service is top notch. Our breakfast was also very good. Oh and did I mentioned German coffee? ☕️ It was delicious 🤤

The service was excellent very attentive and professional, of exceptional note was the service given by apprentice Miriam Wallinger. Miriam was smiling and very helpful all the time and did her very best to look after her Hotel guest.

Property originally tried to charge for breakfast, but then corrected the mistake blaming it on Expedia. Parking was free since we parked outside instead of in the underground garage. Beautiful setting with wooded acreage surrounding the area and east walk to local restaurants. A peaceful setting minutes from central Stuttgart. Great sauna and exercise facility, but unfortunately no Pool!

Waldhotel is our favorite Stuttgart area hotel. We have stayed there several times over the past 8 years. Service is excellent, and the hotel is located in a convenient area. We also really enjoyed the bar and the restaurant, both of which were even better this time than on previous visits. My one major complaint is that the mattress on this last stay was way too firm for my liking. I also didn't like the toadstool art. But overall, we had an excellent stay.

Loved this hotel. It is beautiful and welcoming. The staff members were friendly,fantastic, and accommodating. The room was comfortable with a great bed with cozy bedding and pillows. The restaurant is excellent with a selection of gourmet food for dinner.

We were traveling throughout Germany and fount this stop outside of Stuttgart quiet and relaxing for the final leg of our trip. We had dinner at the restaurant it was expensive but satisfying . Parking was simple and not crowded. The host helped us to our room . A lovely ending to a challenging trip!

Hotel has a boutique vibe and is in a great location if you don't want to be in the heart of a city. Two train stations within 5-10 minutes, beautiful wooded area with trails, and several charming local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

My family and I always stay at the Wald Hotel during our visits to Germany. I love the hotel as the installations are modern, clean and everything is organized. It's a hotel that makes you feel like at home, you just know what to expect and know that everything will go as planned. However, this time during my stay, I had a very uncomfortable situation with one of the bartenders - Cosima Weis. The bar stops taking food orders at 9:30 pm. My husband and I arrived at the bar at 9:20 pm and waited for the server until 9:45 pm. When the waitress arrives, she starts the service with an attitude, and then proceeds with saying that there is no food available, only tomato soup and a cheese platter. I proceeded to asking what time the kitchen closes and she mentions that they stop taking orders at 9:30 pm. The waitress wasn't even at the bar to take orders before the kitchen closed. It took her 25 minutes to appear, then she proceeds to have an attitude, yelling at us and threatening us to call the chef, then she takes our menus and throws it at the inside of the bar. Not professional, considering the caliber of the hotel. Due to this incident, we speak to the hotel managers and they try to remediate the situation by ordering food (from outside the hotel), which we really appreciate but politely decline. The situation at the bar definitely soured our experience, but asides from that, the property is great and this hotel is amazing.

The hotel has come back well from the quarantine. In a forest setting on a hill at the corner of a number of athletic complexes including GAZI stadium. A good hotel restaurant and you can eat in the bar too. Many good, walkable restaurants nearby. TV tower a short walk away gives great views. Good park for kids a short walk.

Very kind and caring staff, beautiful hotel and grounds, right near forest trails, best breakfast ever, and the rooms/amenities were so classy with robes and slippers just like the four seasons! There was even a pillow menu. This hotel is a true gem.

This is a wonderful hotel and restuarant with outstanding sevice that I will visit many more times in the future when visiting family in Stuttgart. The breakfast with outstanding, but never had a chance to enjoy lunch/dinner.

Quiet hotel on the edge of the forest Clean an wide room They could follow my request to stay at the room with bathtub Especially, small but impressed thing I found was the cleaning staff, young lady, has cleaned the toilet in the lobby politely. I have never ever seensuch polite cleaning work. It shows how the hotel educate their staff very well. I like this hotel.

A high quality hotel with great attention to detail. Stayed in Superior room with balcony which was first class. Breakfast of high quality served in beautiful breakfast room with choice of outdoor tables in lovely terrace. Stayed at hotel for wedding anniversary trip and hotel took the trouble to deck out the room for our visit including champagne in the room. This was a marvellous touch. Hotel set at edge of forrest in a guiet location but only 10/15 min U Bahn ride to the Centre. Not a hotel if you are in Stuttgart looking for the night life but for a relaxing visit in a quality Hotel would be hard to beat.
