We were happy to stay in Maritim Bonn Hotel. The staff on reception was kind and provided good service. The room condition is clean and comfortable.

Overall the stay was nice but there were a few drawbacks so unsure I how to avoid that if we return. The good things: The room we had booked (family suite) was spacious and well equipped with some free water, a fruit basket and coffee machine. The bathroom had a modern shower and a separate bathtub. The pool was in good condition albeit small, and the separate pool elevator made it convenient to access. The bar was relaxed with a good drinks menu including cocktails. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable. The pancakes were a highlight for our son. The staff at Reception and in the hospitality areas was courteous and pleasant. The not so good things that made us unsure about a potential return: The room we stayed in smelled of stale smoke, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. The hotel is meant to be smoke-free so this was really surprising. The hotel staff told us there were no other available rooms for us. Housekeeping came up and sprayed some air freshener which made it a bit better but still not a real solution. Given it was already 8pm we decided to stay put as we’d been driving for 8hrs already at this point. I think this is something housekeeping should have noticed before they passed the room on. For €245 a night I feel this was unacceptable. The Aircon is dated and the room stayed fairly warm despite it running on its highest setting. Had we stayed in a better smoke free room I’d have awarded it a 5/5 rating.

Very helpful and kind staff. The breakfast is amazing. Such a beautiful and reasonably priced hotel with all the convenience you could need. 10/10 would recommend. I loved my stay at Maritim Hotel in Bonn. If I am lucky enough to come back to Germany, I will be staying again!

We booked as part of a tour following the football, its a large hotel and very tastefully decorated, we booked a suite which was very well equipped and spacious. The staff were fantastic and really could not fault anything. The tram station is 100m away from the rear of the hotel so also convenient to get into the main town. My only part negative comment was parking at 24 euro a night seemed a little high compared to the previous hotels, but that is it!

Very nice hotel, convenient for Bonn and Cologne. Staff extremely helpful. Would recommend everything except the breakfast which was average at best and not worth the money.

Running paths close by were very nice and it was easy to get around the city with the nearby public transit. The dining was a little one note, because each of the on site restaurants seemed to offer the same options. There is no point in having three restaurants if they share the same kitchen.

The bedrooms are good. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. Desk good for working. However, outside of the bedrooms, the hotel is a little dark and dated. It is not somewhere you would like to spend too much time. The breakfast is also quite underwhelming with a lot of processed options and machine-made hot drinks which compromise on taste. The hotel is near the river and park though which is very pleasant.

Prefect location for what we wanted. Very close to the tram line so easy access to bonn . Rooms and sevice were excellent , very friendly staff. Only issues i has was over a four night stay , i was charged €25 per day parking which i wasn't aware off. I thought guest were free , now i might have not spotted it was paid but regardless, an extra €100 on your bill was too much and i would have considered booking eleswhere if i have known

The hotel is within a 3 minute walk of two S-train stations! It is only a 10 minute S-train ride to downtown Bonn. The hotel is super clean and it has a highly responsive staff. Great stay!

The Maritim Hotel Bonn is exquisitely appointed. The rooms are spotless as are the public meeting spaces. The restaurant and brasserie operate mainly from the same menu and the food is excellent and priced in line with Bonn standards. While mistakes were sometimes made, they were promptly corrected and the staff was professional and courteous. The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the Rhine river and a short ride on public transit to downtown Bonn. You can also ride (public transit is nearby) or walk (30 minutes) to Bad Godesberg too. Staff are multilingual so no need to worry about being misunderstood. We would definitely stay there again.

I was amazed in the room was so big but I was so sad because inside of our room we found one underwear and a pair of socks. Looks like they don't clean properly.

Good hotel, but interior feels like lost glory. Lots of gold and wood, but in an old fashioned style. Massive hotel with congress center. Small cart selection in restaurant. Room very nice, unfortunately the TV system is a little bit complicated with bad remote.

It's away from the city centre in the business district, but the hotel itself was good. There is free parking just a few yards from the hotel, no need to pay €24. The room wasn't prepared for my kids but after reviewing the options we arrived at an acceptable solution. The staff were nice and breakfast was also good.

Hotel maintenance and upkeep is not good, all the restaurants are terrible both in terms of food and service. Thr rooms are large and clean though, but you'd not want to have dinner or spend any time on property.
