This is a wonderful Melia hotel. We visited with 2 kids and they’d thought of lots of things to make their stay special too. Kids club was great (kids aged 5 & 7). Friendly but not too noisy for other guests! Plenty of loungers by the pool, nice communal areas, fantastic breakfast buffet. I highly recommend.

Staff were very friendly, but food was bad and expensive for the quality offered. Hotel overpriced compared to Iberostar. After 3 days we had to go to Iberostar to eat during the rest of the stay. Iberstar way suprior for almost same money.

This is our Nth time staying in this hotel for our annual family vacation. The wait for the preparations of our room is too long, despite prior confirmation e-mail of our arrival.

The staff from the restaurant was extremely professional and nice

I liked everything about this hotel—my only reservation for staying her again is that the standard rooms are in desperate need of freshening up (no USB ports/not enough electricity ports in the room, no walk in shower, tired decor, old furniture). The hotel is very well located and within easy walking distance of the beach and Puerto Banus and the Marina. Lots of great restaurants at the hotel and nearby.

Everything was perfect beside the noise and we couldn't sleep well because we got waked up by noise from outside the balcony. The room was also very hot and has no Air Conditioning, so breathing was difficult to. The rest of the hotel is perfect, including the staff.

The staff are excellent and the hotel is in a great position. Short walk to the port and lovely prom walk and close access to the beach if required.
Had the Level Lounge and would recommend this to anyone staying here.
Once the staff knew we were vegetarian they made sure they brought appropriate food out whenever we came in.
The breakfast area outside and outside level lounge tables and chairs could do with refurbishing but nothing that would spoil your visit

View of the car park and the smell of rubbish and sewage. The hotel was not full and reception could have changed our room but did not.

I can't fault the staff, gardens, pools, room (or the cleanliness), it was all top-notch. I've never stayed in a hotel with zero sound proofing. It was exhausting. We could hear all the drunk English people all day and night.

Nice and clean room. Very serviceminded people working at the hotel. Nice gym. Calm area and just 5 min walk to the port og Puerto Banus.

Don’t advertise for double bed when it is only Queen size bed - Too small to share for grown up teenagers.
Dinner buffet selection was disappointed.
Very good location

Excellent value for money. The bedrooms are spacious and the swimming pool area is large with plenty of sun beds. The staff are very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying in the Meliá Banus.

Lovely, clean, modern hotel. Nicely located by beautiful beaches with many chiringuitos (beach club/bar). 10 min walk to Banus marina and at the start of the Golden mile, direction Marbella. Perfect for early risers who like jogging or walking. Super kids club hosted by Christina. Nice pool area and good food and wine. All staff friendly and helpful. Transfer service to and from airport was €82 each way. Cheaper than taxi. Professional and flexible (that’s another story). The only shortfall for me was the size of the king bed. We had two, and a fold out bed, but while one of our daughters was living the dream in the other one, my wife and I felt a bit cramped.

Can absolutely recommend this great hotel for relaxing days in Puerto Banus. Delicious breakfest, very nice pool area, also a seperate section for 18+, and the same in the restaurant/breakfest area. Great service from everyone at the hotel.

Large property close to beach

The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
My only complaint is that there were so many flies outside in the garden area it was uncomfortable to lie out.
There must be something that could be used to control this or attract them away from the seating area
6.0 / 10.0
The staff at the hotel were friendly and polite. The hotel is clean and tidy although a little tired in areas and due to it’s construction is noisy at night in corridors and through walls of adjacent rooms. At the weekend there was a huge booking which took over the pool bar and the staff were over whelmed. Over the period we were there fairly happy. Hotel probably needs to review its strategy on large weekend groups, although they were happy to fuel them with alcohol without any regard for other guests outside this group.

A non-cosy hotel, with rude staff. One star for location.
Not getting what has been ordered, and no customer service at all.
Way to expensive for this kind of hotel.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing and always helpful and polite. The food was so good that we felt there was never a need to go out for dinner, but the restaurants in Puerto Banus are a must in the evening so worked out well to stay at the hotel for breakfast and lunch.
Will definitely recommend and will come back if i get the opportunity again.
