The hotel and staff and service and accommodations are wonderful! My only wish is that they had a water center where I could refill my water bottle. Again, thank you so much for the beautiful stay!

Pleasant stay at the Peacock Inn. Close to downtown, walkable. Room was small but clean and quiet. Nice shower and bed linens. Helpful staff. Breakfast was continental - not bad. Coffee was excellent. Free NYT & WSJ. Would recommend and stay here again. Thank you!

The availability of the EV charger was wonderful. Staff was accommodating and pleasure to deal with. Room was on the small side and shower was confusing.

The charming inn offers small but comfortable rooms, a great bar where a basic continental breakfast is served, and a restaurant. We held a Sunday brunch there for 12 people. Unfortunately the service was exceedingly slow, but the food good. The dining rooms are very pleasant.

We had a very nice time as we always do, if we had to make any constructive comments they would revolve around size of room in comparison to the price. For almost $500 per night, there are very few places to place things in the room or bathroom for that matter - It would also be nice to have a coffee maker in the room for early morning offering - besides the back of the toilet, there is no place to put anything in the bathroom and toilet paper dispenser is basically installed on the floor? Obviously first world problems but room 205 at least is pretty small for a premium price

Our room was spacious and well appointed, the staff were friendly and very accommodating, and the location was terrific. Beautiful and quaint Princeton, NJ's shopping and restaurants are only a short walk away, but the street it is on is quiet and tranquil. We had planned to have dinner at the restaurant the last night of our stay, but we had to leave early so we can't rate the food and service, but the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic night out. One small issue we had was that the room key cards frequently stopped working and we had to keep getting them replaced. Apart from that, the hotel is an old Victorian manor that has no elevator, and all of the rooms are one or more flights up. This is likely fine for most, but should be considered if one has mobility issues.

Lovely small hotel and totally walkable to the campus and town. The staff is above and beyond.

Beautiful hotel in Princeton.

Nice hotel in the middle of Princeton. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The space was a little bit tight. The continental breakfast was actually quite good.

The Inn is beautiful--an antique house with a luxury renovation recent renovation. Service, furnishings, mattress, linens, complementary breakfast -- all excellent.
Our one complaint was that the room we had was simply too small to be comfortable. To be fair, we did choose the more affordable room but the tiny size was out of sync with the Inn's luxe ambiance. Reco: Choose a larger room.

The room was rather small (to the point where I had to put my suitcase on the bed to open it, and my morning exercises were a bit cramped) but high ceilinged, quiet, and very well appointed. The shower was great, as were the soaps. The breakfast was quite nice, and there were complimentary copies of the NYT in the lobby.

We had a lovely stay at the Peacock Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was in a great walkable location. I would highly recommend it for a stay in Princeton.

The room was definitely fabulous. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. As well appointed as possible. Top notch in almost every department.
The staff were certainly friendly, but not especially professional compared to the property.
We arrived after a 5 1/2 drive and we arrived early. The gentleman at the front desk suggested a place for lunch and a snack and took my mobile # to let me know when our room was ready. This was incredibly impressive.
When we returned at 4pm (1 hour later than check-in), the woman at the front desk was very friendly, but let us stand there with our luggage while she took not one but two phone calls from prospective travelers. In between calls she started to check us in and put our key cards in a folder. After the second call, the phone started ringing. I said "Can we please finish up?" She said "You are actually all ready" handed us our keys and made no attempt to help us with our luggage.
Upon departure, we were not asked how everything was.
Again, I would stay here again. But the staff should live up to the location and price.

One of only 2 hotels walking distance to Princeton. Walls are too thin and can hear neighbors easily. Nice breakfast included. Front desk often doesn't answer. Room refreshments/minibar offerings are plentitful but not inventoried correctly. Be sure to count on arrival to avoid charges. Bed is comfy. Nice robe and slippers. Nice linens. Super nice warmed bathroom tile floors.

The bed was particularly comfortable. The continental breakfast was especially nice.

The Peacock Inn is a cozy, comfortable place to stay. Upon arrival no one was at the desk for about 5 minutes, and a phone number left there offered no answer. Finally someone arrived and helped me check in . The room was very comfortable. There IS some street noise, and there is no elevator. The parking behind the building is minimal and if the Inn were full there may not be a space. The breakfast (continental) had nice pastries, yogurt, instant oatmeal and granola with high end teas and coffee. The staff was helpful. There is an onsite restaurant that serves an afternoon tea and dinner but it is closed on Mondays.

We appreciated the location and the friendly staff. Our accommodations had some problems: Even when we called for help, there was a problem with the TV and there were no directions regarding the 2 remotes. A dim light over the bed made reading in bed a challenge. The drawer in one night table rolled open and would not stay closed. There was no rack near the sink to hang the face towels.

The Peacock Inn is a charming, small inn centrally located in Princeton. It’s an easy walk to the main shopping street as well as the Princeton University campus. The staff were friendly and responsive. The inn is very clean, the beds extremely comfortable with quality bedding. Lovely Molton Brown toiletries in a sizable bathroom with a terrific shower. I wasn’t able to eat in the restaurant due to a private gathering, but it’s easy to order food on an app and have it delivered. Also, there are many good restaurants within walking distance. The bartender was kind enough to make me a very, very good vodka martini in spite of the private party. I’m looking forward to staying here again the next time I’m in Princeton.

Peacock Inn lovely. Small, elegant and beautifully renovated. We checked in late Sat night (9:45 pm) after family dinner. Young gal at front desk put us in room 302 and did not say anything about it being a third floor walkup. We subsequently learned there are no elevators b/c inn is very old.
Would have been much better if she had noticed that we are elderly (husband in 80's, I'm in 70's) and asked if we minded walking up to third floor. We would have asked if there was a room available on second floor which would have been better for us. But she didn't seem to pay any attention to us as individuals. Would have been appreciated if she had said, "It's a third floor walkup. We have a room on second floor, a bit smaller; would you prefer that or...we have no other rooms available tonight but we'll carry your suitcase upstairs for you." But nothing was said, not a word, which resonated with us that she was unconcerned and lacked basic graciousness. Luckily a male staff member near the desk noticed us and offered immediately to take our suitcase upstairs which we appreciated.
We chalked it up to the gal's lack of experience and youthfulness, but it is also showed her lack of training which is the inn's responsibility. In our opinion, it is important to train staff to focus on guests as individuals and think about situations from their point of view. It would have set a much better tone at checkin.

The Peacock Inn is a beautiful bed & breakfast in an old Princeton house.
Our room was on the third floor, and there wasn't an elevator.

Great place!!! I used to work in the Princeton area and had been to lunches at the Peacock Inn many years ago. I was back in the area visiting friends and decided to stay there rather than a mega chain (benefit of using Hotels.com - I'm not tied to one chain). The place is beautiful my room was great and the staff was top notch. The the whole place was redone within the last couple of years and looks fresh. Met friend for drinks in the bar and we were supposed to move into the dining room but decided to eat dinner in the bar. Our meal was creative and the food was excellent.

I loved the room, the junior suite. Big, cozy, nice shower, nice mattress...
