This is an older hotel woth a lot of charm. We've stayed at this property several times. It's eclectic and very relaxing.

Well I didn’t get the room pictured. Lol. My room looked more like a hotel room than a cottage room! The grounds in one area are cute with a pond. I had a view of the parking lot. Breakfast was jaut okay. Staff was nice and it perfectly located.

It's a nice place. The only issue was the flooring. I think if they had rug you wouldn't hear the people in the room above so clearly. The folks above us sounded like a herd of elephants. Everything else was great.

This was such a cute hotel, complete with a koi pond, fountains, and an outdoor fireplace in the back. Our rooms were clean and cozy, but next time we visit, I would love to stay in one of the cottages. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and included eggs, either sausages or bacon, danishes, and more! The fitness center, though small, was well-equipped. I loved that it was within a 10-minute walk to many attractions and restaurants. The staff also checked in often to make sure everything was okay. Would recommend this place!

Bugs in the floor, Small TV with few channels, small bathroom, want to keep a light in the bathroom at night, but the fan is too noisy. Have to keep a light in the room on. But it is too bright, make the sleeping a very bad experience.

Excellent check in. Welcoming staff allowed us to park in lot while we waited for rooms to be ready so we could walk around town. Other staff we encountered during our stay were very pleasant. Room was super cute and our fireplace had a duraflame log ready to go for warmth and ambiance. However, the bed was very worn and uncomfy and the pillows were overstuffed and hard. My husband and I both had trouble sleeping. I found it quite unusual how bumpy the floors were in the room. It’s as if the carpet was laid over dirt and rocks. The dust in the bathroom around the storage closet was foul. I was PEELING it off in chunks. It certainly made me question the rest of the room’s cleanliness.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was this machine noise that went on and off all night. Maybe the A/C? They allow pets! So it was fun taking our dog on a mini vacation. Included breakfast was decent. I’d stay again if we go to solvang next time but would request a different floor.

The hotel and staff are amazing! I enjoyed my stay and would rate it five stars for comfort and location. The hotel is not luxurious, but a guest can expect a clean, comfortable room. The gardens and public areas are lovely! The free breakfast is good - much better than a continental breakfast. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of blackout curtains in each room.

Great room! Clean and aesthetically pleasing. A bit too light for our taste and the mattress was a bit uncomfortable but other than that, great place.

Our room was not ready when we tried to check in. Desk staff wasn’t exactly friendly. Toilet in our room wasn’t flushing and wasn’t able to be repaired. They moved us to a nicer room which was nice of them to do. Overall, this is just a tired hotel, with tired staff and there are just better places to stay.

Just a quick overnight during a road trip. So cute and charming! We had 3 adults and a black Labrador, and stayed in the 2 Queen Village cottage. Large room that fits 6 (sofa bed). Free bfast was good. Very close walking distance to everything!

We loved Wine Valley Inn! Our double queen room had a second attached room with twin bunk beds. We didn’t end up needing them, but such a good space for a family. Everything was very clean and the front desk was super nice. Lots of space for clothes in our room, several dressers and wardrobe. Also the ac ran COLD and was turned on for us before our arrival which was great for the heat wave we experienced in Solvang. The breakfast is what you would expect from a hotel breakfast, but strong coffee and great toast. Water refill station was a great touch, too.

The outside looks nice but don’t trust the pictures on-line. Two of the outlets did not work, one was for a lamp so we had limited lighting. The room definitely needs to be updated, walls were dirty and just not a place we will return to. The front desk clerks were nice and welcoming but that is the only positive thing.

It was a wonderful first stay for my wife and I in Solvang and the folks at Wine Valley Inn made our stay very enjoyable. From check in to check out they were friendly and helpful. Their hot breakfast was enjoyable and so were the pastries from Olsens bakery. We will be returning here.

Overall good experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfast with good coffee! We especially enjoyed the cozy front-room setting with fireplace outside the dining area. We only wished that we'd found it the night before, as ut was a bit chilly outdoors, though they did have a fireplace outside as well. We also liked that the Inn is off the main drag. Our room was in the back and it felt nice and "secluded".

Wine Valley Inn is a nice choice for families and is pet friendly as well. There are room choices for couples from standard rooms with queen/king beds, to cottages for a more romantic and private stay. The property is adjacent to the local shops and restaurants, and everything is quite walkable. Personally, I would skip the breakfast near the reception. You can do much better outside. But the staff are fine. They are generally pleasant and helpful. Prices of course fluctuate, but are average with similar hotels at this level.

The hotel is located in the heart of solvang and very confident to walk around and see the small city. The hotel itself is ok, mediocre. It’s just alright, you get what you pay for. This was my second stay at the hotel. There was construction going on right next door that started at 7am which was annoying. I was also annoyed that I asked the receptionist as i was checking out to send me my bill via email and they never did.
