Excellent(1,025 Reviews)4.2
The hotel was beautiful and we were thrilled with the room we received. We only had a one night reservation but wished we had more. The pool and facilities we clean. The staff was wonderful and so helpful! We will be back to stay again!
4.2
This was a last minute reservation due to Hurricane Milton, we were evacuating from the west FL coast. The staff was very helpful, a few issues with the room due to a corner location and winds from the storm, but the staff addressed all concerns immediately and we had a restful night!
4.2
Expansive oceanfront lobby veranda and room.
Ultra comfortable bed & bedding. Quiet & clean.
Personable, professional staff.
Excellent oceanfront dining and lounge options.

Great stay. Hotel is a bit older but it definitely has its charm. Bar service was great and so was breakfast at the on site restaurant!
4.2
Lovely stylish hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Beautiful, great foods, great service. Lazy river was slimmy dirty

This is a beautiful property and the service is outstanding.

Was not happy with hotel within a few hours of arriving. Asked to cancel the last 3 nights of a five night stay within hours of arrival and was told only if they can charge me a $255 early departure fee. Pool closes at 8pm during summer but as soon as daylight savings hits it closes at 6pm. Which is unheard of every hotel I have stayed at on the beach pool closes at 10. Way over charge for parking just for valet to damage my brand new car in 3 different places. Pool and lazy river are MINIATURE compared to pics online. Ac doesn’t work and you will be hot all night long. They also charged me again after leaving for mini bar which I didn’t touch a thing. So go ahead and expect bogus charges. For a 5 night stay we payed over 560 for parking not including tips. Place is a total rip off more like a retirement home not resort.

Loved it!

Overall, our stay was good. After the first day, i realized i had to manage my expectations. The only complaint about the room itself was that the floors weren't clean... they didn't appear to be swept or mopped. The poolside and beachside staff were friendly, however, did service was very slow. Nonetheless, the pool and beach areas were well maintained and clean. The kids loved the lazy river.
A word of caution... check your receipts! I found a lot of discrepancies in charges. Also, the first time I ordered did, i didn't ask for a copy of my receipt, and then when i checked all my charges at checkout on our last day, that one charge was $30 more than I recall. Of course, I was unable to obtain an itemization of those charges, which were then 4 days old. Keep all your receipts or take a picture and check all charges at checkout. Also, take note that the bread at the done-in restaurant is not complimentary. We weren't informed of this, and I right it would be important for them to point this out, because anywhere else you go, bread is complimentary. It was disappointing seeing the unexpected charge of nearly $20 on the check for bread.

2nd time we stayed at Grand Pelican. Wonderful hotel, feels like home. Beach view from everywhere on the property.
4.2
The Pelican is by far the best hotel in Las Olas! Best service, beach is phenomenal!! Staff was great as usual.
4.2
This is a great hotel when it comes to the rooms. Very clean and spacious however, the mornings are LOUD with the carts, I enjoyed the property and the beach is super quiet and nice in the mornings
4.2
Staff & service was not good
Online pictures of lazy river and pool are not an accurate representation of what it really looks like. Very small and not desirable
Valet parking charged 60 per night because we had an SUV. Have never paid that much at any other hotel
4.2
The rooms were comfortable. However, we could hear everything from the room above us which was disturbing and waking my small kids early in the morning. They didn’t have enough umbrellas for the guests, we had multiple rooms rented and beach umbrellas are included in the “amenities” covered by their hefty resort fee. The parking is also ridiculously expensive $60 a night for an suv. The manager did help and found us an umbrella as soon as it become available. The food was ok. The service was pretty good the staff was friendly. Overall comfortable space, friendly staff, and the beach was incredible. Cons: The building is run down needs work, pricey parking and amenities.

To start, I arrived at 3 and check in was 4, which is normal. I went to the bar, A few minutes later, I went back to ask how much late check out cost, the girl in the front desk informed me that I had to call the day of my check out at 7 in the morning to see if there was availability.
I waited until 4 and went to ask if thee rooms were ready, she told me that one was ready, but that I had to understand that check in could be at 4:00pm, 4:30pm or 5:00pm, etc., and I told her that was strange because check out is at 11 o'clock, if it was later I would have to pay, until that moment she never told me that I had VIP access, the next day I check out at 11 and It was then that one guy in front desk asked me how my complimentary drink was, I told him that they never gave it to me, they were surprised and asked me if you have VIP access, and I told them that they never offered it to me.
4.2
Facility was nice and clean with friendly staff. Everything there was very expensive, and they also have a resort fee of $50 per day for "chairs and towels"
4.2
This is a beautiful hotel directly on the beach. There is a lazy river and pool, restaurant, and lovely lobby. There is a $50 resort fee and $48 parking fee per day. It’s valet-only, which was annoying when we wanted to pop out to the store or grab lunch. There are not many restaurants with walking distance, so you will likely want to drive or take an Uber if you don’t dine at the hotel. Staff were very nice and helpful.
The elevators always had a very long wait, I believe one of them was out of service.

Amazing

Honestly I didn’t like this resort . The pictures are way too far from the reality. I was shocked when I saw it because the prices were too high compare to other resorts around it. The only thing that I like it was only the beach, because the water was clean. The resort was too old from inside. I wanted to leave but they say they’ll refund only a half of it. For me isn’t worth it for the price.

It was a bad experience. We left the hotel for another one after 1h inside the place. Very different from the pictures and reviews. The staff was not polite (reception and pool). We couldn’t enter the restroom of the pool due to the smell and dirtiness. They had no towels to offer either. No AC at the rooms floor. Definitely an overate hotel..
4.2
Beach area was accessible and staff were excellent
4.2
Pool and lazy river area is very small and not really inviting. They ran out of towels in the pool and beach area, which we were counting on having. Loved our room and staff were very nice except for one person.
