I was there with my husband, we’ve been there many times before. We got in the room and the bathroom trash can had trash in it, one of the beds was undone (we did not care since we were only going to be there for 3 hours max) room was okay, we ended up checking out 2 and a half hours later, next day I check my online banking and they had charged me $100 dollars extra, I called the hotel and they say the room smelled like someone smoked (mind you We DON’T SMOKE) but the manager or supervisor will call me back, I called next day and the same thing; no one is available to talk to me but Mgr or Supervisor will call me back I called today and the supervisor said she herself supervised the room at 9:45 am (next day) and it smelled like smoke I explained we left that same night we booked the room after listening to so many lies she said I was done and I called my bank to dispute the transaction, I am so disappointed and upset, I mean charge me for what I consume but don’t charge me for someone else’s (we think they rented the room again to someone that smokes and that’s why it smells like smoke). I will never go back!

Property is easy to stay at due to ample parking, parking close to the rooms, clean rooms and affordability. Hotel employees are helpful and cheerful.

The room was dirty and the air conditioner filter was packed with dirt. The tv did not work the 3 days i was there and nobody to help figure out why. Was also locked into the pool area for 45 minutes until someine could let me out

The place was A decent area that saved me a lot of money all I use this place to do was to sleep in. I ate out most of the time so that was different. The refrigerator did not work inside of our room. The corner of the room had paint or something splattered everywhere that needed to be clean. The smell was absolutely horrible and smelled like moldy wet sheets.

I reserved this property due to convenience with a pool- However, the pool was closed for my entire stay. Was given the opportunity to cancel when I was checking in to book at another property but this would have been a huge inconvenience.

The hotel is bug infested and showers dont work. It needs a paint job, new floors and a better staff that speaks english. THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. I WAS BITTEN BY SOMETHING WHILE I SLEPT AND NOW HAVE AN INFECTED BITE ON MY ARM. TERRIBLE

I absolutely love this little hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a budget hotel but it absolutely is one of the best I've ever stayed in. It has basically all the amenities you could ask for a working microwave or working mini fridge a big screen TV and a coffee maker that includes two packets of coffee! The showers are clean and relatively spacious just keep in mind that every room is not the same and some have a slightly different layout and but they are stocked with multiple Dove products for your use. I enjoy staying here and would recommend it to anybody.

The whole room smells stinky. The door and hangers are broken. Very terrible experience. Really don’t recommend it.

The hotel is not a hotel. It is a motel in an unsafe area. The second day we were there, 5 police cars were at one of the rooms. The pool was close the whole week we were there and is still closed. Very sketchy people all round. Definitely wouldn’t bring your kids into this area.

I was in town for business & returned to Hotel Palmeras. Very friendly staff & accommodating.

The staff at the front desk and room service were great. However, the soap and lotion holder, should have been placed on the left side of the sink. Where they are currently positioned, they can easily fall onto your clothes on the clothe hangers or the floor during use.
Thanks

Everything was great, except the pool was not available. Also, that was a kind of a bummer and they have a really nice pool and Jacuzzi that you can get into and have fun but it was not available as long as that's one of the biggest reasons why I came to the hotel was there pool but I do love the rest of the. Whole hotel, everything else has always been good. On my behalf.

Prostitution activities on the premises. The swimming pool was closed by the health department. The rooms were dirty. Our daughter felt unsafe.

Staff was polite and fast. Everything else was cheap, and doesn’t include an iron or ironing board.

It's a budget motel, not a luxury stay, but it's clean and comfortable and the people are friendly.

I like having a refrigerator and microwave in the room and the toiletries were great.
The pool was shut down by the health department because it did not have a secure gate on it

The first room that was given to us smelled like pee. The website is really misleading 😩

This property has too many issues for a family to stay.
Door was jammed, I had to push with lot of energy to open the door. The shower, phone, AC, tv didn't work. Every day by the time I return back to room, the keys wouldn't work. I had to go to the front-desk to revalidate it.
The front desk doesn't care if your issue is resolved or not. First night was very hot, and the AC didn't work. I requested the front desk to send a maintenance person to fix it. The staff asked me to wait until the next morning or take the refund and leave at 1am. Finally, after request, he came to the room and turned on the AC (the power switch is very usual one, dangling placed 6 ft above the floor.)
The next morning, I reported all the problems to a lady at the front desk and asked her to fix it before I returned back. Nothing was fixed by the time we returned back. The next day, I directly met the maintenance person and had him look at the problem. He fixed the TV cables immediately. While we were visiting the city, I had to call the front desk twice to get the shower fixed. The phone was never fixed.
The guy in the front-desk doesn't have a cell phone. On the first day, two folks hijacked the office, so this guy forcibly enters our room at 5am and asks me to call the police.
There is no laundry in the property. I had to travel 1.5miles for laundry.
Positives: Room was clean.

The property was not maintained very well at all. When we first we first arrived after getting our keycard, we noticed our door was a bit broken and slightly loose where you can see through the cracks of doorway. As we entered and looked around, the floor was very dirty and needed some spot cleaning treatment, like I had to dust off my feet before getting into bed. The bed sheets were also very thin and didn’t provide much comfort either. That was the first night. As we woke up, my fiancé, woke up with some rashes on her legs that she didn’t have prior, so it must’ve been from the bed. Later that day I went to guest services to express my concerns about the room, and all she said was we will have someone come out and clean. However I requested they come at 5pm if possible, and she said it was okay. So we waited, and they ended up having someone come at 12pm, to which we requested from the maid to come at 5, which even she agreed too. We left for the day around 4:30, and came back to our room still the same with no service done. I also forgot to mention that the telephone in the room was completely disconnected, I even felt dumb for trying to use, only to realize it was t connected. Finally, the bathroom vanity area, had so much dust, mold, and some flies flying around. The mold was found in the bathroom around the window, in the corners under counter top. Dust was everywhere, around the air conditioner, walls, and rack to hang clothing, it was also so rusty as well.
