I usually don't stay at motels but my husband is staying here with his work crew & I came just for a night to bring fresh clothes. The staff offered to do his laundry (for a small $20 fee) & it was ready a few hours later. The 2 employees I came in contact with were marvelous, very friendly & helpful. They did just do a full reno of the hotel so it is very clean & updated - I was very surprised that this was a Motel 6, which usually has a pretty bad reputation. Great job to the owners & staff - I was VERY surprised!

I was very professional and friendly, answered questions and was always smiling and ready to do above and beyond the issue. I will say the next time I will make sure my room faces the EAST the afternoon sun is intolerable for me it was so hot. I inquired about the lighting. There are the (can't remember what it's called but it's the latest, greatest new lighting....but no....) I think the lighting looks art deco and nice BUT if you are laying in the bed to watch tv, it's like a spotlight on you, so it was that or lay in the dark. I chose the later. I went to Applebee's for dinner the last night and met a couple who were there for the weekend and she LOVED her room and was happy except for the lighting. She agreed the lighting is nice, but it needed a lamp some kind of soft lighting for evening. She also chose to watch in the dark. I was still very happy, I chalked it up to it's brand new, they are still getting the character set up. The building looks great the rooms are great. I prefer to pull up to my door rather than go through an entry because it's an easy unload. There are rails in some areas that you will have to walk through or around to get to your door. I have to be able to pull up to door with no objects to conqer I over pack plus I have my work things (a lot of files tooooooo) AND my dog! I am also older so I need the door right there~ just a fyi for older, traveling saleswomen to request a no rail door. It adds character to the building & is nice.

The property and room was nice but the customer service was lacking. When i checked in i let the staff know i would be checking out at check out time (11am) due to a 13 hour drive ahead of me. At 9 am housekeeping was knocking on the door so again i told them i was checking out at 11. Then at 10 am my 15 year old daughter and i witnessed a grown man (employee, possibly owner) peeping through the window, then knocked on the door asking if i was checking out.

They were in the middle of remodel but it was still a very pleasant stay. You can tell it will be very nice once the remodel is completed. Definitely worth the price. Give them a try!!

We absolutely loved how clean and refreshing the rooms and entire aura of the stay was the addition of the crickets in our rooms was amazing. They serenaded us to sleep every night into a blissful slumber.. pool was clean.

Great stay. Would come here again. Best Motel 6 I’ve ever been to. Newly renovated. Only downsides were the outside renovations were still in progress and there were crickets in the room. (Crickets must’ve gotten in during renovations). But I would 100% stay here again.

Hotel was under construction. There were no room travel toiletries available. They advertised continental breakfast, but there was nothing available. Upgrades to the room were decent. Looks like they are trying to improve the premises.

Very few amenities, however, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very considerate. Good place to stay if you need a quick over night. My family were attending a wedding, and we were able to get 2 rooms side by side. We saw, but did not get a chance to check out the pool. There were renovations in the lobby, but I wouldn't hold that against the overall experience.

I don't think the price matched the way the hotel was when we arrived. Major construction happening in all kinds of areas and we pay for amenities right? Seemed lacking a little bit for the price. Evidently despite having TVs and all the rooms the Hotel doesn't need to make sure the service provider is actually available so you can watch something?

Hotel is under massive construction. Tv didn’t work in room and the hotel lobby and dining area was completely under renovation. Beds were nice and I slept well with the blackout curtains. But don’t expect the hotel to look like the photos.

This location is obviously going through a remodel. My room was freshly done and very nice and clean. Im aware this brand is budget friendly and no frills, but i feel even other budget lines have several amenities. When walking into this queen room, you get a room with a small fridge, tv and a bed. There's no chairs, no desk, no lamps, no do not disturb sign and pretty sure no alarm clock. However there was a phone but I'm sure that's a code issue. Theres plenty of towels, but very thin and small. No shampoo, no conditioner, only very small bars of soap. The main issue was housekeeping. I was only there for 1 night. Check out was 11am. At 926am, I'm getting woke up by housekeeping beating on the door. I asked what time check out was and she confirmed 11am, said I'll be leaving then. Then again at 1030 asking for housekeeping, i said check out is 11, l leave then. This probably could've been avoided if the motel provided do not disturb signs, but seemed very redundant and aggravating. But all in all the remodel was well done and room was clean.....

I’m sure they are doing renovations which is why there was such a mess outside but the inside of the elevator smelled horrible. The room’s floor were dirty, hair in the tub, and stains on the clean towels. We were in a bind and needed a place to stay quickly. Personally, for the price of the room, it was way too much. 90 a night would have been more appropriate. The staff were very kind though so I must say, that was appreciated.

Vending machines didn’t work, everything was packed up like they were moving out. Nothing that they offered was available. The workout room was a storage room, there was no breakfast, the dining area was cluttered with storage. And then my second day there they came a took the table and couch out of my room when I wasn’t there and then questioned me in the parking lot while I was on the phone. Asking me what room number I was in making sure I was allowed to be in the parking lot I guess. Terrible experience. .

It is a budget property with no services, such as no coffee pot in rooms. My room was in the wing that had been renovated and was very clean. The floors have been tiled, so no unpleasant carpet smell. The “view” was of the highway traffic, and the walls are thin so neighbors can be heard coming and going. I would stay there again.

Super 8 has changed to a Motel 6 and it shows. Looks like they are doing some remodeling, but I didn’t hear any noise during my stay…which was good. Room was VERY basic. Two tiny pillows, no art on the walls, no where to put your clothes, no luggage stand, no hangers, no iron or board, no hairdryer. Lights by the bed were bright ceiling lights. Only 2 bars of soap…no shampoo, etc. Not even tissues. Sheets were stained.

Check-in staff was nowhere to be found for about 20 minutes, check took about 30 minutes. He forgot to put out a sign, that said he would be back. We stayed in a newly remodeled room, that was nice. However, piles of old furniture littered many parking spots next to the hotel, making it difficult to get to outside entries.

Trash from renovating was in the parking lot by the rooms. Dirty exterior; crumbling walkways. Towel’s threadbare & stained. Bedspread stained. Guests smoking outside by our room. Interior walls stained with holes.

They are in the process of updating everything. Our room had brand new everything which was pretty nice. Some parts of the hotel look a little tough still but I bet will look great once they have completed remodeling everything.

Good location for a variety of restaurants with a Starbucks about a mile out. 2nd time at this hotel as we attended the Blue Bell fun race. They are refurbishing many of the rooms, in fact we got into a fully refurbished room, as I believe we were the 1st occupants. Spartan no frills but the mattress was very comfortable. Bring your own pillows!

The sheets were ripped on the beds and when our employees complained the office said they would take care of it. Instead they picked the ripped sheets up off the floor and put them back on the beds. We started a 12 week job up in Round Top but will not be staying at the Motel 6 In Brenham ever again.

Sheets were dirty and stained they smelt like old body oils or diesel grease. Furniture in the room was stained the shower walls needed to be wiped down they had black residue on them. Only thing good was the location close to the highway.
