I want to preface this by saying that I was a housekeeper for over 5 years, and I don't like leaving these kinds of reviews. I know how harsh people can be when staff are doing their best to have rooms cleaned before check-in time. I booked my room for cheap last minute. I was expecting the, "You get what you paid for." The curtains had weird stains, one of the lights didn't work, we had a dirty blanket rolled up in the closet, and our top blanket had to be replaced because it had a huge stain on it. Not that this one was a big deal, but the pillows also appeared to have been just tossed at the top of the bed. However, I was not expecting black mold. My husband and I needed to crash after a late night concert, so we didn't notice it in the bathroom until the morning. My husband woke up congested, and my eyes and throat were scratchy. I can't comprehend why anyone would overlook that. I'm very disappointed. The front desk staff was really kind, and we really appreciated that they let us check in after midnight. But, we will not stay here again. If you stay, check in early and do a thorough look before it's too late.

Run down, some staff was great and some were terrible, pool/hot tub closed an entire day we were there then the water was too cold our final day, breakfast was good one day and terrible the next day. End door doesn’t work with a key card. It was worth $100 a night but not more than that.

Our room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The biggest problem was the room desperately needed updating. I had trouble keeping plugs in the outlets and some didn't work at all.

Rooms could be cleaner

The hotel is dated, entered our room and noticed that even with the door closed, it doesn’t close properly, light shines through. The top sheets on the bed are either stained or very dirty, the tub had a black ring around the drain which i wiped and it was came off, not sure when the last time it was cleaned was…. We’re here for one night, we’ll deal with it. Won’t be coming back.

We stayed 3 days, no hot water in ourcroom to shower or wash or faces, no wifi, we had to go outside to connect to the neighbor business wifi to do our work. Swimming Pool was freezing cold and the chlorine burned our eyes while in the pool/hot tub room. Nasty!!!

I like staying at this hotel. It's convenient, clean, friendly staff and inexpensive. The pool and hot tub always looks inviting. The breakfast area has convenient hours, is always clean, well supplied and offers a nice variety of items.

Loved the proximity to outlet mall but the hotel needs some major updating. The carpet was not swept (coffee grounds from last guest), musty smell, hair on pillow. Continental breakfast was good (lots of choices), friendly staff

The hot tub and pool need some work were very murky. Also allowed very young children in the hot tub jumping in and out splashing the guests in side. Needs to be monitored more.

It was 40 degrees outside and neither bed had a blanket on it when we checked in. I had to go downstairs to ask for one and they did bring it to the room

The property was good for what we needed it for. The rooms were outdated and the fist comforter had blood on it. The second one we got from the dryer had a yellow stain on it. The maids went in our room on the day we didn’t check out, which i didn’t like. The hot tub was luke warm and broken. A facelift would do wonders for this place but if you need somewhere close to stay to frankenmuth and shopping this is good

Clean. Shower in our room wasn’t the greatest. Not very much pressure, and leaked. Ac/heat in room didn’t work very well.

Seemed well-kept in general as far as paint and flooring. Breakfast offerings were typical and the room was off the beaten path a bit, and quite small and congested. We thought our room keys wouldn't work but it was actually the door sticking- had to push it open with your shoulder and slam it shut. Our bathroom was missing the hair dryer and the towels were of poor quality and size. Both the ice machine and the snack vending machines were out of order. I suppose our experience was commensurate with what we paid.

Check in great. Comfortable & bed & linens very nice. Room could stand a thorough cleaning around baseboards & the sheet curtains need replacing - torn and tacky! And while you're at it, I'd recommend replacing carpeting. Bathroom fine.

We waited about 20 mins to check in no one at the front desk. Had a two queen bed room and one of the bed the sheets were stained with what looked like blood!

Very quiet place to stay, close to outlet, malls, and mini restaurants which we could walk to. Very enjoyable.

Rooms need to be updated

Convenient location and easy access to highway. Staff were pleasant.

Staff is friendly, rooms were clean and the breakfast is always good. Need to bring back the cookies upon arrival.

I booked this property for Oktoberfest because they stated there will be a shuttle to the festival - I called a few days before the festival to check - they said they didn't receive they schedule. On check min they say to shuttle was picking up 3/4 miles away - on the other side of the interstate. I walked to the pickup spot; I spoke to the operators about the issue - they said they never picked up at that hotel - that I was lied to. I will be spreading my horror to anyone that will listen.

I liked how close the hotel was to the outlets and close to different restaurants. The hotel and the rooms need major upgrades! The toilet seat in the room was broken, the door to the bathroom almost didn't close due to it being pretty close to the vanity. The shower curtain need to be change and the bathroom was a little dirty. Some of the outlets in the room didn't work. The free breakfast wasn't as good as it was several years ago as well.

Stains on the mattress and bedding, ripped curtain, musty mildewy smell despite being clean. Just seems like they need to do some updating and freshening up. But overall a decent stay, pricey for the conditions though.
