Everything was perfect, just one night for business. In a Junior suite with a view on seaside! A continental breakfast really good with a great selection

This is a very nice hotel in the public areas. The outside and the inside is very well kept. The service was excellent, the food in the restaurant was nice quality and good choice for breakfast and dinner. The pools and the pool area is also very spacious and well looked after. What really let this hotel down for me was the room. We had room 2005 a junior suite which was in fact just a small room with a sofa. The condition of the room was fairly average to say the least. Floor boards had gaps in and move, rough edges on furniture and poor finishing in the bathroom, mastic missing and rough. When the toilet was flushed in another room the noise from the pipes and the water system was incredibly loud. We complained about this and were moved to room 2013. This room was exactly the same for condition and noise which woke us several times during the night. Also making it hard to sleep was the room temperature which was a very warm 23-24 degrees, we were told the air conditioning is switched off this time of the year. I don't know if rooms on other floors are in this condition but I would definitely not stay in a so called junior suite again. Spend a few more euros on these rooms to bring them up to standard.

Excellent stay. Worth booking a Premier room as you have exclusive check in ahead of the crowd, free drink in fridge in reception area between 10 and 6, free mini bar in room topped up once per day, exclusive use of rooftop pool, sunlounger on beach (€7 each otherwise) and fab views from higher floor room.
Upgraded to half board. All buffet style meals but quality of food was very good.
Staff are very friendly. Fernando in premier area was very efficient.
Great location on prom and next to Benalmadina. Lots of restaurants nearby
Good evening entertainment

Hotel is very clean. Good location near the beach.
Loud music from the hotel next door made worse by the fact our balcony door did not lock !
Breakfast was average, cooked breakfast was luke warm.

Very good breakfast, situation good and pools also. And shows every evening👍

Really need to have a premium room as in standard the beds hard, bathroom outdated with low toilets and door banging against u when using toilet. Also view from our standard room was awful so just read other reviews to make an informed choice. Breakfast ok but we found dinner meals unappetising as sat in lots of water/fluids etc
However staff great and gave hubby a topper for bed. Service good and pools and entertainment good too.

Amazing hotel, lovely staff and pool

Very very loud in the pool area. No possibility to relax, read a book or listen to podcast because of the crazy loudness from 10 in the morning through out the whole day. Different music playing in every corner and screaming pool staff.
But we could see that the kids had fun.
We did not have any contact with staff and had the experience that they were too busy, as they didn’t smile or say hello if guests walked by the lobby.
Breakfast was good and the area was clean.
Room was a big disappointment.
We booked a suite because we wanted to have the comfort that usually follows when paying more for room quality. Room was shabby, sofa dirty and floor not cleaned. Shower had either warm or cold and very little pressure.
Bar and pool restaurant was expensive.
All in all, we will not stay there again.

Great facility and staff.

The lobby, pool and restaurants are great. The entertainment is also nice. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. It’s in a perfect location next to the beach and main boardwalk. The rooms are clean but the beds hard, low quality vinyl “wood”floors, unmatched tile in bathroom, IKEA open closets, and the bedding scratchy. It’s at best a 3 star in the rooms and a 4 star for the rest.

Wow, wow, Wow, beautiful hotel right on the beach and unbelievable boardwalk with plenty of restaurants to choose. Entertainement at night with Flamenco shows, Elvis impersonator, etc...
Rooms were super clean with a ton of space and beautiful view if u get an ocean view. Its worth paying a little more to see it every morning.
5min walk to Benalmadena marina, which is super nice with shops and many options to eat. At night this place really comes alive.
Boardwalk is also very enjoyable to walk and shop.
Parking on the street for free iff u find a spot, if not u can always to o the marina and park. Around 10 euros for 24hrs. Agan marina is only a 5min walk
Overall amazing hotel, oh and the breafast is fantastic. So much to choose from

Lovely hotel in a great location, rooms were a little basic and could do with some updating, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good selection but hot food was always cold so had to use the microwave. I would stay here again though

Overall stay very good. Cleaning of room perhaps the worst we have ever experienced.

Spacious room, bed uncomfortable for a 4 star. Made a few basic requests which were not completed by the staff- disappointing.
More like a 3 star from a comfort point of view in the hotel.
Has nice pool, and great access to beach. Gym is also good.

Nice hotel in great location pool are and all communal areas are really nice and well kept breakfast is also very good lots of choice. The most wonderful stay! We have never stayed in a nicer hotel. It’s spotless, the cleaners are always cleaning reception, the room, everything! The bedroom was huge too. The hotel booked us a taxi to the airport when leaving so it was stress free :)

Horrible experience!!! Do not stay in this hotel. It’s very expensive for the quality and accommodations you get for your money. We supposedly booked a suite and it looked like a hospital room. When we complained they said that all rooms were the same. The bed was HARD as a rock, the A/C was hot, floors were so dirty our soles were black, there was dust all over the curtains and the bathroom was tiny and didn’t even have a shower cap. No toiletries and no amenities. When we let the front desk know about everything they said that all rooms were the same. We prepaid for the breakfast buffet and never used it because the first day we went everything smelled horrible and the cups had a nasty egg smell as if they didn’t wash them properly. We were disgusted and couldn’t eat. This is DEFINITELY not a 4 star property. Horrible experience and not up to Melia standards. I’m sure Melia will cancel the affiliation soon. I stayed with my mom and we tried to get back to the room as late as possible just to not spend one unnecessary minute in the room.
5.0
Gorgeous hotel. We’ve stayed there lots of times and the rooms are all lovely but this time the air conditioning was unbearably loud. The pool is amazing and the overlook to the beach is fabulous. There’s music in the afternoon at the lower pool that’s really lively so if you want quiet, it’s not for you.
4.0
Very busy area with beaches. Location is perfect. Hotel needs a major refresh. Mattress was terrible and the whole facility needs some work.
3.0
All in all a nice hotel and in a great area. Sadly I think the hotel is in need of a bit of maintenance to justify its 4 star status and its price tag. The communal areas are all beautiful, clean and well kept. The room itself however let the hotel down. The beds are very hard (although several toppers were added which helped), the bathrooms are tiny and featured black mould and badly cracked paint/grout. Basic things like a box of tissues and enough coat hangers were missing.
The staff were generally great.

Hotel was very nice, front desk staff also very nice. But not clean or maintained. Seemed overcrowded and understaffed. Breakfast buffet was very poor, large selection but food was low quality and cold. Coffee machine was out of order. Very disappointing, especially bearing in mind the cost of the stay.

Hotels is beautiful and within walking distance from the good places too eat. It is very convenient except for parking.
