Nice sized rooms with a microwave but no kitchen utensils to really make use of it. Dated but clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but included in the price.

Pleasant but the door was not equipped with any rubber to stop the noise from coming in the room.

Great calm stay and comfortable beds! Nice view of lake and hot tub was good too!

It’s a lovely hotel but needs a bit more upgrading for $190/night! The toilet seat in our room was loose and would shift us off. Also the cleaning product used on the tile floor in the room and in the bathtub made them both VERY slippery! This product needs to be reconsidered as both of us almost fell in the tub. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, the person working didn’t seem concerned and didn’t make a note of them. This was disappointing.
Also the breakfast room is very small and VERY hot. A super spreader room if anyone has the flu or Covid. Windows could be opened but often were not.
The hot tub was VERY hot and when asked if it could be turned down, the response was they would ‘let maintenance know’. It wasn’t enjoyable at the temperature it was. And despite claims of ‘towels available’ we had to ask for them.

My husband and I spent 2 nights. We were on ground floor and enjoyed the view of the lake and being able to just walk out of our room over to the lake.
Room was comfortable and quiet. Everything was there that was needed. Only negative comment would be that the carpet had many stains and could have done with a cleaning. Breakfast was buffet with a well replenished array of food. Waffles, croissants, raisin bread, muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereals. Assortment of juices, tea, coffee. Plenty of outdoor parking. Only 12 minute drive to Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. Staff were friendly and professional. Enjoyed our stay.

Great for a late night checkin, and a great place to stay before or after an early morning departing or late evening arriving ferry from Vancouver.

Very good. I want to go back for my next trip to Nanaimo. Quiet and very nice lake view and neat. Except they need to clear the drain in a bathroom. Both bathtub and sink was not draining well.

Best place to stay in Nanaimo, right on the lake with a wonderful spa and free breakfast. Great front desk service. Have booked for next year and can't wait to return.

Quiet, clean hotel overlooking Long Lake, although we only stayed one night it was pleasant.

A great property and a lovely location on a little lake. Stay was quiet, breakfast was plentiful , and close to the ferry for departure. Win-win-win all around :-)

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to overnight this will do. While they charge for pets, I was ok with this but no mention of add on for parking on my reservation or at check in. Instead a surprise $10 plus gst was added. Breakfast is minimal and staff can’t be bothered to look after you so expect more of a grab and go.

The property was overall a good experience, very comfortable beds, parking was great and everything was clean. The only negative was the continental breakfast. The eggs were cold, and no bacon or sausage but did have waffles which was great!

Great stay, thanks to James
Great to do paddle boarding at the lake

Ok nice rooms however should I have to pay for parking seems ridiculous.

For the price they charge they should offer a better breakfast and free water toy use.

A lovely nights stay after arriving from Australia. Comfortable bed and woke up to a lovely view of the lake. Very pleasant way to wake up in Canada!

Hot tub and sauna area was nice but limited. Room was spacious and pretty clean. Carpet and sheer needed cleaning. Duct tape around a pipe under the sink. Amenities in the room were good- coffee machine, microwave and frig.

This was a great surprise as while it is beside the Island Highway, was quiet and a lovely location situated right on Long Lake. We had a balcony overlooking the lake where we saw many geese’s, a heron, a beaver and the requisite gulls. The facility was well kept and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. The self-serve ice machine was out of order but ice could be obtained at the front desk. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. I would return.

Beds were AWFUL. I almost got and slept on the floor! My husband slept upside down on the bed just to try to get comfortable. When complained to desk at checkout, he asked me if I complained last night! 😖
Breakfast was a joke. We got there at 9 and it closed down at 9:30. It was a mess, no fruit left, only one glass of OJ left. The girl never replenished anything’ we left ! We were also charged $191 but was quoted 141 when we booked! 😡with taxes, fees and parking fee, we walked out with a bill of $233.57! Never Again

Perfect hotel for just sitting and gazing at the beautiful lake. It was mesmerising watching the geese and ducks on the water, and just the whole atmosphere of the lake.
Hotel best enjoyed with a car and bringing provisions as there is NO bar and NO restaurant. The breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly.

Pretty view from the room, air conditioning unit worked effectively, liked that breakfast was included, liked that parking layout was very convenient to the rooms. Walkway boards to the dock were very uneven, old and moved unsafely under our feet - need replacing.
