Wonderful stay! We loved it!!! So comfy and kind
5.0
Very affordable, efficient motel. I liked that they had a good recycling system. Breakfast is a nice addition but the expectation should be low. Staff are very pleasant.
5.0
Perfect with no complaints
Just a little misunderstanding when we checked in, we were told to wait 15-20 mins to get 1st available room ready on 2nd floor but actually it was about 1 hour until we asked again, other then, all good..

Located 13 mins from Gastown on other side - nearer to the suspension bridge park
Price was cheaper compared to other Vancouver hotels. Breakfast options were minimal - coffee plus frozen sandwiches - nothing Vegan or Veg . No Yogurt or bread or oats or cereal . There are grocery stores near by.

Hotel was quite old and we found red stains on bed sheets which we asked them to change. For one night transit stay it's ok. Location wise it's close to bus stop and not too far from Canada Place or CBD.
2.0
Water leaking out of refrigerator with a musty smell in the room. Very poor condition for the price. I would NOT recommend this motel.

Old and in need of repair. Price was cheaper than most but we still paid around 350. Breakfast was dismal and not worth it. One would think for the price you would get something a bit better

The Staffs are very nice.

Basically it's a great experience for my travel. The location is perfect if you have planned to go to Capilano Suspension Bridge or nearby attractions such as Capilano River Hatchery. And it's convenient for reaching South Vancouver downtown (~ 15 mins).

It’s family oriented so I enjoyed it

This property is very dated. There were items in the room that needed repair. Secondary door lock did not secure the door, bedroom lamp appeared to have a short, food in night stand, bedroom tv remote did not work, refrigerator needed a thorough cleaning. Location was convenient to major highway and city.
4.0
Breakfast was stingy. Breakfast sandwiches refrigerated that you had to microwave, danishes yogurt and whole apples that was it. Very bad breakfast. The hotel itself was very old, the rooms generally looked tidy and clean but all the little corners and cracks in the bathroom were moldy.

We love the courtyard, pool & breakfast feature. The rooms are big, and access to trails & shopping is good.

I arrived very late at night after booking last minute. No issues with check-in. I was there only one night and did not use the pool. There was an odd solvent or perhaps mothballs smell in the room, obvious when I opened the door . Satisfactory one night, inexpensive accommodation, close to the city.
6.0
This property seemed expensive for the outdated room. There was no screen on the window, safety might be a concern.

This was probably the worst stay I have had at a travel lodge ever. Dirty disgusting rooms, paid $400 for the family room that was not what was advertised. Thank goodness we were not there for one night. Don’t recommend staying here.

Old carpet odor make me feel uncomfortable
Don’t feel clean with bedbugs

The property is older and some maintenance is lacking, however it was comfortable and convenient. The laundry was a plus. We didn't use the pool but it is always nice to have.

Very old and run down. Stains on carpet. Spider webs many places. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a pleasant stay at the Econo Lodge in North Vancouver. The hotel’s location was perfect for our needs, putting us within easy reach of Stanley Park, Granville Island, and VanDusen botanical garden.
One of the highlights was the included breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. We also appreciated the convenient parking on-site. Overall, the Econo Lodge offered good value for a budget-friendly stay.

I was treated well and warmly welcomed after my long drive from Seattle.
Quiet and safe.

Great location if going to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain and Stanley Park.

Fridge ruined all our fruit and vegetable platters. They all froze and had to be thrown out. Bathroom is extremely small. When air conditioner was on we froze, when turned off it was too hot.
6.0
Easy check-in. 24 hr hot water/coffee.

Bathroom is too small. Can hardly get in and close the door. Very simple breakfast included.

The room we were given was full of visible water damage and mold!!! The front desk staff did nothing to fix the issue and would not issue a refund! The area was also sketchy- lots of sketchy people hanging around the hotel. I had to chose between losing over $800 for a three night’s stay or subjecting my young family to black mold exposure!!! I handed in my room keys- the front desk never apologized. I was even laughed at for asking for a refund. I have never stayed at a hotel with such poor service and substandard/unsafe/unsanitary rooms.
6.0
Good location, easy to find. Breakfast is VERY basic. Yogurt, apples, oranges, Johnsonville Breakfast sandwhich to heat up, muffins, juice. Carpet in the room could use a good cleaning. My toddlers feet got dirty walking around in the room.
8.0
Overall, the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is good. Staying in the Vancouver and North Vancouver area was more expensive than I expected, likely due to global inflation. The room was clean, the breakfast was okay, and the facilities and amenities were decent. The staff patiently answered our questions over the phone. I recommend this as an economical option, just a 10-minute drive to Stanley Park with easy access to many local restaurants.
