The shower had a poor calk And some black around it. The light above the sink in the bathroom didn’t work making it nearly impossible to shave at the sink.

This hotel is filthy! We had reservations for 2 nights, checked in and unpacked everything, returned first night around 10:00, pulled covers back and sheets were slept in among other things and NOT CHANGED! We called front desk and no housekeeping was available so they brought us up new sheets that we had to change ourselves..another room was offered but it was late and we were unpacked. We did not want to stay the second night-why would anyone? I took a shower and as soon as I got in with the water the tub was black-from walking on the carpet. The carpets probably have never been cleaned. We called the manager-who was not there when we left-and they gave us $100 off and STILL CHARGED US THE FULL $250+ FOR THE SECOND NIGHT THAT WE DIDN'T STAY THERE. This place is disgusting-don't stay here!!!!!!

It was way over priced for the 6 total hours I was there. The room smelt like dead skunk and it stayed hot. Although I cut the air down it still never got cold and the bathroom stayed hot

I’ve stayed at multiple hotels in Boone, but this one was by far the worst. The first room we were given was filthy—cracked sunflower seeds on the TV stand, stained sheets, a dirty carpet, and a grimy bathroom. We tried to overlook it and even went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies, but it quickly became overwhelming. We asked to be moved to another room, but while it was a slight improvement, it still wasn’t clean. There were cobwebs in the corners, a dirty shower curtain and bathtub, and trash behind the TV stand. For nearly $300 a night, I expected much better. The staff was friendly, and I’m sure they would have moved us again, but after two disappointing rooms, we ended up cleaning the second one ourselves. Overall, it was a deeply disappointing experience.

Motel better than its rating - staff were outstanding, facilities in good condition, spacious room, good amenities (although the bed was firm to very firm), excellent hot breakfast, convenient location just 2 blocks away from the main road & university outskirts. All in all a good value!

Our stay was great. can’t complain about the room size. the only thing that was truly lacking was places to hang wet clothing and towels for a family of 5. Other than that it was a great place. The breakfast was a good breakfast for a hotel. Wanted more cheese and eggs omelettes. We loved them.

Hotel is in a good location. Nice indoor pool. Cookies at check in. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great! Room was damp feeling. Carpet feel wet and bathroom floor was slippery. Woke up congested. They appear to have some type of moisture problem. Talked to others and they had the same experience. I wouldn’t stay here again due to this issue.

The hotel needs renovation and better housekeeping. My bed mattress had a huge gross stain, my sheets had a washed permanent stain. And a crusted booger was on a pillowcase. I asked for the linens to be changed the next night and it didn’t happen. Also the shampoo and conditioner containers were different colors BUT they were both conditioner which seems to indicate the housekeeping staff may not be able to read English.

Probably one of our worst hotel stays - paid for the room, gave my card for incidentals. Room had a used yogurt container and receipts left in it so cleaning wasn’t great. Husband bought two sodas and swiped his card. After that it was all downhill - they then proceeded to do multiple authorization holds on his card (linked to the same checking account) and managed to hold over $800 over the course of 24 hours. The front desk is unprofessional, management is non-existent and they just keep repeating “it’ll fall off” - the only problem with that is every few hours another hold appears. We had to block the card and issue disputes. Last night a return of one of the charges was issued - not a drop of a pending charge, a post void. Our bank recommended closing the card and reissuing at this point and not one apology was given. Bed is hard, shower is full of mildew, breakfast was meh. There are a lot of decent places to stay in Boone - I would look elsewhere unless you want to spend an hour on the phone with your bank.

I waited for about 20 minutes to check in because someone was complaining profusely about their billing. The property seemed clean enough, but it is rather outdated, the air conditioning wasn't great in my room and I could hear others in the hall and squeaking of the floor above me while they walked around. The staff were great and my room was clean.

Everything was very clean and the staff was excellent. The breakfast had everything you needed and coffee and hot chocolate were available at all times. They even provided towels for the pool users. Great customer care!

Overall the room was good! I did think the bed was a little hard, I tend to prefer a softer bed. Main area in the hotel was beautiful! Huge fireplace which you can look down to while eating breakfast up on the 2nd floor. Staff was friendly. Also, the pool and workout room were right next to the check in desk. The diner ( Troy’s) next to the hotel was amazing, we just walked over.

I like staying at Comfort Suites because the rooms are a bit larger but they are not as expensive as some other Hotels. However the only negative to our stay this time was that I was cold and asked for a blanket from the front desk and was told they were all out. The clerk offered no other suggestions and just an hour before I has seen her carrying a huge stack of comforter/blankets off the elevator. But other than that our stay was nice and the room was spacious and clean.

We had a suite 2 adults and 3 children. Had to flag down housekeeping to empty garbage and exchange towels. Apparently you only get service after 3 The pull out couch had a mattress pad that was stained and very dirty. Beds are hard, if you like a firm bed this is your place.

I would definitely stay here again. Great location, especially if you’re in town for App State related events. Pros: clean, good location, decent indoor pool and gym, decent continental breakfasts each morning with a good selection, good selection of cable tv channels Cons: I felt the bed was uncomfortable, hubby did not. He felt the pillows were uncomfortable, I felt they were fine. No blanket available for the pull out bed despite asking the front desk, luckily we had brought my son’s favorite blanket and an extra. A/C cooled but was not effective for the whole room. The area next to the A/C stayed cold, which was where the pull out bed was, but it did not circulate through the room well and keep the side where the bed was cool enough for our liking.

Our bathroom had no shower curtain, the whole bathroom filled up with water. I complained to the front desk but they didn’t do anything about it. So we checked out even though we booked for 2 nights. We need compensation or a refund. I brought family from Canada and they were so disappointed
