Rooms are relatively inexpensive. The air conditioner worked well. The bathroom had some of the elements/fixtures coming out from the wall. There was a ceiling leak in the fitness center which made some of the equipment unusable. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a nice selection at breakfast.

Place was clean. Wood floors not carpet in room which I liked. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Well worth the price.

The laminate floor was coming up in many places in the bedroom, molding coming away from the walls, phone didn’t work because the wires were cut/frayed, the tub spout pulled out of the wall. The front desk staff was nice and the breakfast offering were good (juice machine was broken but indicated that and they made juice containers available). If the issues were fixed I would stay again.

The tile floor was breaking off all over the place in the room. We found spiders and a beetle in the room and the toilet wasn’t properly sealed to the floor. The entire hotel was extremely humid and we both left with scratchy throats. Most of the breakfast machines were broken and we had to have our key reset 3 times in a 3 day stay. When we went to the front desk, we always ended up needing to call the hotel to find anyone to speak with!

Staff was friendly. Room had horrible floor. An area at the end of our bed in the main walkway was completely broken up. Breakfast was disappointing. Juice machine out of order, coffee was eh, the only meat option was sausage gravy and the container was empty 30 minutes after breakfast started. I ate plain biscuits!

The only issue with the rooms were that the carpet felt damp. Maybe it was recently shampooed and not completely dried?? The big negative was the lady in charge of the breakfast area. She was very, very rude! She snaped at people, was sarcastic, and banged things around when asked for help. Pretty much told a mam he lied about the water being cold for coffee. Only to find out he was right. Openly complained to herself as she replaced it. She pushed my adult daughter aside and reached across her and picked up the serving spoon she had just put down and slammed it down almost the same way as my daughter put it down. All while giving a big humm sound of frustration. Someone went to move a chair so the 3 of them could sit at the same table. She snapped that the chairs were not allowed to move and to get a chair down from the shelf "if" they really needed it. One man put some gravy on his plate, turned to tell his wife that it looked good. The lady interrupted him and asked if he was done with the gravy, he said "I guess I am." She reached in front of him, slammed the lid back on the gravy and said "Put the lids back on when you are done."(Paused) then said "Please," Her tone was very angry. I told the front desk staff and they said they get quite a lot of complains about her. Please provide some customer service training to the poor woman or replace her with someone who understands the hospitality industry. She made for a very uncomfortable ending to our stay.

As we checked in the lady at the front desk was great! Very helpful and kindly asked us if we would be ok with switching to another room as ours was booked for handicapped accessible for some reason. We of course had no problem with that at all as we didn’t need it. The hotel isn’t a 5 star but in our opinion was clean and suitable for a nights stay. We checked in swiftly and went on to our room. Room was in good condition no real complaints about the cleanliness or the checking in service. As we head out for our night we noticed the front desk lady cleaning windows. We returned later that night just before midnight. Go to our room and I decided to go back down to get ice. I used the vending machine forgot my ice. I went back down my ice bucket wasn’t there. I asked the young man at the desk for another, he said he didn’t have one and gave me 2 scented garbage bags for ice! I partially filled one and returned to complain in which this gentleman came around the counter with an attitude and almost intention of wanting to fight. Was totally rude!! I proceeded to dump the ice on his desk and returned to our room to gather our things and leave!!! That young man/kid should not be working in customer service. He also claimed to be the General Manager which I hope is not true. What started out as a great night quickly turned terrible due to one totally unprofessional employee that feels he can do whatever he pleases and talk to customers with an attitude.

Our stay was great as usual! Have stayed here many times as our daughter and her family live nearby. You new desk clerk was GREAT, very mannerly, friendly and humorous 👍 He bakes great cookies😂 Your breakfast lady manager, on the other hand, is very crabby, bossy and rude. And always has been since she’s been here. It wasn’t just a bad day. I’ve mentioned in the past two times your bathroom mirrors are beautiful but useless. With the perimeter lighting it’s very difficult for my wife to apply her makeup etc. I’ve suggested wiring a ceiling light in to the exhaust fan. Low labor cost, inexpensive and simple. Hopefully my suggestions help you business. As a retired business owner, I always welcomed suggestions as opposed to my customers complaining to others and hurting my business. I would usually implement them if feasible. We’ll return next trip. Bill Miller Our stay was last night. 7/20/2024

Tracy the receptionist when we first got there was excellent, so helpful was very nice but this place is a dump we were very disappointed. It looks nothing like the pictures show don’t believe it, spend the extra money and go to Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express anything but here. Also not the greatest side of town the sidewalks get rolled in at 10 pm and nothing is open. Stay more in town or towards the airport, just not here. Glad we were only staying one night here, never again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was just OK. There was an outlet on the window side of the bed that did not work which meant the lamp did not work and we could not charge anything. The floor was buckling in spots and when we pulled out the sleeper sofa, it was filthy underneath the couch. In the bathroom, the shower faucet was loose and had to be used with care to get the water turned off so it did not continue to drip all night and the faucet was actually facing up(towards the ceiling)when we first got inside the room(my husband had to fix it). I also used the gym(after kids stopping goofing off in there) but there was no air circulation or fan and it felt like I was in a sauna, which made the experience wry unpleasant.

Old property becoming rundown. Clerk was alone performing too many jobs. They were doing the best they could. Air-conditioning didn't work right. Drapes had tears in them.

This was one of the most unpleasant hotels we stayed in on our road trip across America. The place was just outdated and there was no internet which apparently had been out for a week and wasn't expected back until the following week. That seemed ridiculous. The staff were disengaged and didn't even bother to tell us there was an elevator so we dragged our suitcases up to the third floor and only then discovered the elevator ourselves. The breakfast was fine but unattended by staff. The room was outdated, uncomfortable, but clean. We were glad that we only had one night there.

Main complain is that the Internet didn't work. I needed a hotel for two reasons, suitability of its location on a long road trip, and availability of internet so that I could work for as many hours as possible after checking-in in the late afternoon and before checking-out the next morning. I was able to connect to the internet without a problem, but UNable to access a single website, including my own on which I needed to work. I spent my entire stay there siting on a sofa and staring into space, and am now a couple of days behind with my work.

Bed needs an upgrade and the linens could be higher value. Tile flooring left feet black. Black hairs in the bathroom, floor needs scrubbing. Internet didn’t work at all and well as juice machine at breakfast. Liked location, staff, size of room, the rest of the furnishings and the price.

It was 90 degrees outside and the A/C was not on in the room. Beds looked like they were made by a 10 yr. old. Bathroom not very clean. (Base of toilet especially bad) Outlets throughout the room are loose, including the bathroom. The elevator license displayed in the elevator expired Feb11th, 2024.

The suite had had a makeover. Loved the “wood” floors. Felt cleaner than the carpet. But the baseboards are cheap carpet type and the room smelled funny. For the breakfast the juice/ milk machine was broken so there was a “community” jug of milk in the fridge for cereal or whatever. And at 8am half of the food warmers were empty. The waffles are always good tho.
