Good parts: 1. The staff is very polite and helpful with info. 2. For the price I got, it was fine. Not-so-good parts: 1. Cleanliness, maintenance and comfort could be significantly improved 2. Parking is a challenge. Though the staff informed about the possibility to leave your car in the Rewe parking lot nearby, it leaves you stressed because the parking lot has boards suggesting potential towing. I left my car there overnight without having faced any challenge. 3. Breakfast is basic so don't expect anything fancy. Coffee was great though.

The term "air conditioning" gives the impression that the rooms are air-conditioned. But they are not. At 29 degrees I would have chosen a different hotel. I consider this to be a fraudulent description on your website.

Excellent central location with easy access to tram and shops! Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean with extremely comfortable beds. Although the building is a little older, it does not lack comfort. This place was booked out when we stayed and I can see why: exceptional value for money!

Drinking bodies had a noisy party in front of hotel, but the accommodation was okay, looking at the price. Poor Wi-Fi, and some of the lights were not working. Breakfast was excellent. Big Supermarket near by. Easy from and to the freeway.

We arrived after midnight and left before 8 a.m. so our time here was short. After traveling through Germany and staying at numerous darling hotels is historic neighborhoods this was pretty basic. But it met our lodging needs and was convenient for our purposes. I missed AC and had to have the window open for cool night air. Clean, friendly, affordable.

I have to say that this place is kind of depressing. It's along an obscure road somewhere, and there's no where to walk to. It's clean, and totally fine if you're just looking for a place to crash. But a little depressing in terms of the energy. For a three star hotel (I think it bills itself as a three-star hotel?) it should offer a bit more.....

Unless you are on business and you do not have to personally pay for the outrageous Hotel rates in Frankfurt, try the Achat Hotel in Darmstadt. I would recommend it. Frankfurt is for those who have business accounts which due to tax incentives for corporations, eliminate affordability for the average vacationer. Avoid Franklfurt and enjoy the rest of Germany.

This is a modern, clean and comfortable hotel with a restaurant and free parking. The staff is friendly and efficient. It's near the autobahn and easy to locate. If you are using public transportation it's on the streetcar line, which connects to the train. It's also within walking distance of a large store where you can buy food, wine, and other items. No air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room which was adequate for our early Sept. visit.

This is a pleasant hotel, with friendly staff. Internet is free in the lobby which has a bar. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is also close to many things - only 20 min to Frankfurt Airport.

I stayed at the Achat over a weekend as I was working in Darmstadt early monday morning. At first I didn't like the look of the hotel but on reflection it was more than adequate. Griesheim itself has nothing to offer but it is a good base for Darmstadt and the surounding area. The staff at the Achat were extremely helpfull and friendly, when i asked for an extra pillow it was taken care of immediately. I ate in the Italian style restaurant on Sunday evening and had one of the best meals ive had in a long time, recomended by one of the very friendly staff. The Hotel could do with a bit of modernisation however this is my only complaint apart from the free Wi-Fi internet service is very slow. Regards Chris

I was looking for a place to stay, coming back from Munich for an early flight out of Frankfurt the next day. This is only 30 km south of the airport and is much more reasonable in price as well as a better value than most of the Frankfurt hotels I am aware of. Would be happy to visit there again - even if not flying out next AM. Clean, well situated rooms and bath.

Within 30 minutes drive of Frankfurt airport (in rush hour) the Achat is a convenient and reasonably- priced option for the traveler headed back home. All was tidy and well-organized. The room was small and was missing one bedside lamp, but otherwise there were no problems. I would stay there again.
