The hotel is in a perfect location: center of the city but still very quiet. Everything worth visiting is within walking distance, including public transportation and the stop for the bus to the Frankfurt Airport. The breakfast is very nice and worth booking. Coffee is available for free throughout the day. The hotel is very clean. The bathroom for the single room is a bit small but also very clean. Nice shower. I have stayed here several times and will always come back when I am in Darmstadt.

Excellent property, stayed 2 rooms 3 nights and returned for another 2 nights. all was superb service, especially the Direktor Mr. Frank Koch who personally looked after all our needs. Will recommend this accommodation to all who are considering a stay in Darmstadt.

Excellent location right next to Luisenplatz a few steps away from tram. Room spotless and shower excellent. The breakfast was varied with plenty of healthy options and the complementary drinks machine served a variety of hot drinks all of a good quality. Would certainly stay here again and recommend.

This is not your typical Best Western as we are used to in the US. Kind of hard to find as it is in the city center and somewhat hidden from the front of the street, obscured by other buildings. Check-in is on the second floor. But it has air conditioning and comes with the breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms

Nice clean friendly hotel in the centre of Darmstadt. Lack of a hotel restaurant fo dinner is a little inconvenient but there are lots of places locally in town.

I liked the hotel due to its strategic location, it is in the heart of city, easily approachable by public transport from Frankfurt airport. There are many places of eateries, shopping malls available close by. Hotel staff is very co-operative and pleasant. The reception, restaurant and rooms are very clean and the decor is well maintained. The quality of breakfast is awesome. I recommend the hotel for single on business or family on tourist visit.

Overpriced hotel and on top also to pay a parkingfee of € 7,50 p day. I was trickered by the offer of Spa facilities. On Arrival it was announced as additional against payment with an external party they were cooperating with.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how excellent this hotel was! Check in was a breeze, Janet was so nice and friendly! The lobby was immaculate and so was my room. It was probably the cleanest hotel room Ive ever seen. The towels were nice and clean and large and the bed sheets and duvet cover were high quality and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and I really appreciated the fact that the showerhead was adjustable height and also was a hand-held shower head so you could rinse off. The included breakfast was really quite amazing. They had something to please everyone. From eggs and bacon/sausage to yogurt and fruit and cereal. They had a nice selection of juice and a nice coffee machine so you could make cappuccinos, lattes or even just regular coffee. And again the cleanliness was a theme. The breakfast layout was sparkling clean as well as the dining tables. The staff working in the breakfast room every morning didnt ever stop working. They were constantly cleaning and clearing tables and maintaining the food. The only experience that left me slightly dissatisfied was the morning of my check out. I had asked the previous day if when I checked out that the staff could contact a taxi company in Frankfurt for me as I was concerned that the taxi company would not speak English. I was assured that they could do this. However, upon check out the clerk said she wouldnt do that because they only had a relationship with a Darmstadt taxi company to transport

A great location in a walkable city with plenty of shopping, restaurants and sights. Hotel was close to transportation. The room was clean, comfortable and laid out very efficiently (and the shower was excellent). The hotel had a fantastic continental breakfast, which was complementary, but the best thing about this hotel was its staff.Since we arrived well before our check-in time we did not expect to be able to check in, but had planned to ask the hotel to stow our luggage until our room was ready. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a better room than we booked to enable us to check-in at the early hour. Any housekeeping requests were turned around very quickly. The front desk staff and the manager truly went above and beyond to assist us with transportation, sight-seeing and general information about the area. Our trip was made better because of knowledgeable and kind people - I rate this hotel a 10!

This place is within walking distance of everywhere desirable in Darmstadt. It is very comfortable, and the breakfast is top notch. The location and the parking are convenient, and the staff is helpful. I think it is the best value in town, by far.

I would have rated the hotel room with a 5, except the single-bed mattress was worn. I had to sleep all the way against the wall in order to find an area that the mattress was fully supportive. I was extremely pleased with the peace and quiet afforded by the heavy walls and doors. The black-out drapes allowed me to sleep very soundly on the weekend mornings when I could sleep in a bit. The location of the hotel is great. It was a very short walk to the city center, only two or three blocks away. It is also located near several good restaurants. My only suggestion: replace mattresses more often. I should not have to discover this problem myself.
