This was our second time staying at Hotel de Buci and we loved it. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean and wonderfully decorated. Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a fantastic area with lots of restaurants and shopping. It is also very convenient to Metro stops and many musuems. The Seine river is a very short walk away for nice after dinner strolls.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel de Buci. The location was fantastic; walkable to everything! The lobby of the hotel was a bit disappointing. Not as welcoming as pictures showed it to be. The rooms were small, as expected, but nicely appointed. Our shower was a typical European bath with a hand held shower. I was expecting a more American style shower by the pictures I had seen on the internet. On the 3rd evening, a very terrible (dead animal) smell appeared in the room. When I told the reception they were apologetic and said they would look into it… we never heard anything from them about the source or resolution of the smell. That definitely put a damper on our overall experience. Also, construction was taking place at the hotel which compromised the lower level of the hotel and its amenities. Before booking I also read that there was an afternoon reception including food and drinks for its guests. This did not happen. Would I stay again? I think I’d try another four star hotel in the same area the next time.

I expected a lot more from a signature suite that was supposed to have been recently renovated. The carpet was very old and dirty and the bathroom had a few issues; aside from not looking renovated, it was functionally inconvenient; the wall-hung toilet had flushing issues; the water was constantly running in the pipes behind the wall, which caused the flush tank to be empty/partially full. As a result, flushing was a huge hassle; it was always low-flow and one had to flush numerous times to fully flush out the toilet. The hand soap had brown graining, which was harsh on the skin and left a messy look all over the vanity countertop. The shower did not have a hair conditioner. Also, the tub-shower had a partial glass enclosure, which caused the water to spill/splash outside and make the bathroom floor wet. The ceiling was very low in the sleeping chamber; my husband who is 5 foot 9 inches bumped the back of his head against a ceiling beam as attempted to stand up straight next to the bed. The heater only worked in the bedroom section of this two-room suite. The second section, the sitting room, was much colder than the other room (it was not heated).

The property was in excellent condition. Location was great right in the center of St. Germain. Excellent restaurants were close by. Metro was also close. We stayed on the 4th floor in a Superior room and had no noise issues. The room was large enough given the smaller room sizes one expects in buildings in the historic district. The hotel staff were also very professional and accommodating. We stayed five nights and would definitely stay again.

Cosy hotel in a fantastic, lively location and in easy walking distance of the Notre Dame, Musée d’Orsay, Louvre and must do cafes. Friendly service from the hotel staff and concierge. Beware when booking the small doubles…they are small, so pack light and cosy up!

This was my first trip to Paris and we could not have chosen a better Hotel and area! Very safe, quaint streets, quintessential Paris!! Exactly what we were looking for! Close to 2 metro stations, lots of great cafes, markets, and shopping!
The staff was helpful and so nice, the room was very clean and we used service a few times for cleaning and fresh towels!
The classic city view room was small, but cozy, and we read that in the reviews. It was still perfect for our romantic anniversary get away!
Would absolutely give Hotel De Buci a 15/10! Well done! Bonjour

A great little hotel, in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff, attentive and helpful.
The hotel is small but very Parisian. Our room was nice, overlooking the street. The bed was very comfortable too.
Some areas of the bathroom could do with updating but in general it was very nice. The hotel also surprised us with our favourite bottle of wine on my birthday. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

This hotel was absolutely lovely and I would recommend it to everybody! The staff was very sweet and generous. We received an excellent room upgrade for free. The area outside the hotel is filled with delicious restaurants, cafes, and cute shops. This hotel is located walking distance to the Louvre. Overall, great experience 10/10

This hotel was our Expedia find of the year. Newly renovated, the lobby was clean and comfortable as was the breakfast area. The rooms, always small in Paris unless you are staying at a chain, were like little jewel boxes with rich fabric on the walls, crisp sheets and decent pillows. Bathrooms were clean and modern but only room for one person at a time. Area is young and hopping on the weekend. Lots of restaurants and shops. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I didn't care for the property at all. I feel like it was misrepresented. It's a barely 3 star. Old, dirty, shower didn't drain, outlets didn't work. Felt semi unsafe. Only stayed one night and will not be back. Also, could have booked direct for half the price.

The property itself is quite chic. A very well outfitted Parisian property, the rooms are impeccably decorated in traditional Parisian. The staff was courteous, professional, and patient. A well run hotel in Paris in the most desirable district. Rate this one a must stay.

Beautiful charm and elegance! AC and plush bedding, with stocked mini bar and robes. Added bonus of a delicious breakfast. The staff was very helpful when we arrived late from our flight and very helpful when we were checking out with airline delays and getting a ride lined up. Highly recommend!

The location is amazing, the service and staff are incredible, and the rooms are lovely. The only downside we noticed is that it can be a bit loud on weekend nights (I slept through the noise on the 4th floor, but my mother was woken on the 1st).

I had a layover in Paris and stayed overnight. Checkin was easy and staff was professional and kind. The room was beautiful and comfy. The location of rhe hotel is near shopping on St Germain Blvd and many restaurants to choose from all within walking distance. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time Imnin Paris.

Great location - very friendly staff - beautiful property! My room was the least expensive on the website and it was very small - OK for 1 person for a couple of nights. Large suitcase was hard to deal with in the room.

Hotel de Buci is an adorable boutique hotel in a wonderful location. You can walk to so many places from the hotel which is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated but very small. The street can be very noisy at night and in the early morning with the garbage truck collection. The soundproofing is excellent but next time I stay at this hotel, I will request a room that faces the inner courtyard instead of the street.

We had an amazing few days staying at the Hotel De Buci! Lovely boutique hotel, beautiful high quality decor throughout which is very well maintained.
On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of red wine, some French salted caramel fudge & a lovely hand written note welcoming us to the hotel.
Our room was fab, lovely decor, very spacious with a bedroom and a living area (which also had a double bed / couch), tv & seating area, as well as a coffee machine & tea facilities.
Toiletries were lovely (rituals), dressing gowns, slippers, and make up pads etc all provided in the room also.
Breakfast had a lovely selection & on our second day they already had the highchair and table all set up for us as per our first morning and remembered our coffee order and brought it over without us having to request it.
All the stuff we encountered were polite and extremely helpful.
The area is beautiful, plenty of options for food - lots of restaurants, supermarkets, take away (we used Uber eats twice and food was fab both times). Close walking distance to the Notre Damn & the Louvre, as well as various metro stations.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel
In the future and be recommending it to all our friends!

Extremely disappointed in the fact that they did not refund our reservation after a major health crisis regarding my wife during the trip

My stay was excellent. The room was small (only suitable for one person, though it said it could accommodate two people; I'm glad I was traveling alone), but very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Service was kind and effective. Fantastic location.

I loved the location, it was close to all the sun things I wanted to do while in Paris. The staff were very professional and kind. The room was beautiful! Only issue was the construction noise every morning which did not allow for much rest-especially when dealing with jet lag!
