Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Hotel is virtually next to the Goslar Train Station. Short walk to the old town with beautiful wooden buildings, perfectly representing medieval Germany (pardon me if I am wrong), a wondering plaza, and the Kaiserplatz. Excellent housekeeping.

Although dated on the outside, rooms are new, modern and clean. Our companions’ room air conditioner did not work. They quickly gave them another room. All good. Breakfast buffet very nice, delicious offerings. Staff super nice.

Easy to find, if you drive turn in right of hotell in the passage and stop because you need to get a tag from reception to get into the garage. Was greated by really nice lady in reception, good english. Quick and easy checkin. Room was nice and roomy, nice bathroom all very clean. Room was facing the trainstation so some noice but with windows closed was no issue. It is close to the city center (5-10 min walk) which is quite charming. Breakfast was great, everything I could ask for (and I am a picky one). Excellent stay if travelling to/from southern europe - but calculate in an extra hour or two to enjoying the charming towncenter.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Highly recommended. The hotel is one minute from the station and two minutes from the pedestrianised town centre. The hotel itself is recently refurbished but has retained its 100 year heritage.Staff were all polite and helpful and we were particularly impressed by the superb buffet breakfast included in the price. The hotel has a pleasant restaurant but there are more atmospheric venues in the old Market Square five minutes away on foot. Therefore our recommendation is to book bed & breakfast so you have the option of eating at the hotel or strolling into the centre.Goslar is a wonderful medieval town on the edge of the Harz mountains. It is rarely visited by the British but most stores and restaurantss staff spoke sufficient English. However a few basic German phrases will be useful to UK visitorsThe town felt very safe. So the combination of safety, pedestrianised streets, nearby mountains and medieval sites make it ideal for mature visitors whilst teenagers may find it of limited appeal. This also applies to the hotel which is solid, welcoming and extremely comfortable but lacking the swimming pool, sauna etc that some may look for.

Excellent location for visiting both Goslar and adjacent areas: very car-friendly (although very limited on-site hotel parking, there is cheap public parking nearby) and near train station. Room was large, clean and cheery. Buffet breakfast was excellent in both variety and quality. Excellent housekeeping on both days of our visit.

A good hotel, within easy walking distance of the town centre. Rooms are well decorated, and the bathroom facilities, shower etc, were spotless. Many restaurants within two minutes walk. The staff were extremely helpful, and recommended restaurants when asked. We went to the brauhaus in the town centre, and we had a wonderful meal, a schnitzel, washed down with excellent local beer. The breakfast was extensive, with egg dishes made to order, and all located in a beautiful dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good location across from the train station, yet not to far to the central square and interesting part of town. Good, friendly and helpful staff. Even provided an umbrella when heading out to dinner and it started to rain. Good sized room for Europe, even if with the typical two small single beds pushed together to become one. Reasonably comfy. Internet worked well. Buffet breakfast was decent and about what you'd expect for the price.
