Staff very professional. Check in easy. Room comfortable and clean but shower too complicated and finally figured it out but never got hot water, just lukewarm. Breakfast excellent and appreciated hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate station.

It was a beautiful hotel. The only problem was there was no coach or comfortable chair to sit in. I requested a handicapped room . The shower was walk in a beautiful very clean as was the room. The only problem was no bars in the shower and I could have used a chair or coach to sleep on since zI have too sleep in a Recliner. The night staff was very help full in using pillows to help me to sleep in a semi sitting position and helped me get my legs up Onto the bed. I was surprised the window shade was see through and curtains do not shut. We could see our car and the restaurant across the street. Breakfast was very nice.

Wrong room when we checked in but were accommodated to get ready. Rooms were clean but small, bathroom tiny. Minimal toiletries in room. Very expensive for the one night stay. Surprised by how much it cost and needed to pay $35 for a 2 bedroom room, which was not an option when I booked so that was frustrating just to get me to pay more. Too much $.

When we first walked into the room, we were amazed at how SMALL it was! The bathroom was completely uncomfortable, and too small, and we felt completely cramped the entire time we were there. In the morning, the housekeeping staff was loud and kept slamming doors right outside our room. The breakfast was paltry: just cereal and a few bagels, no hot food. The coffee was watery. I do not recommend this location if you find yourself in Salisbury.

Pros: convenient to beach, nearby shopping, restaurants and breweries. Cons: dated, small breakfast area, expensive for area, hard bed The room we were initially assigned was dirty. Hadnt likely been cleaned in weeks. Staff was prompt and assigned us another room. Granted not the four seasons, but for $200 a night, I expect clean and comfortable. Breakfast was limited and if you werent there before 8 or 830, you were only getting coffee.

Our room REEKED of mold/mildew. They did offer us a different room. This room had a leaky shower door, the deadbolt didn’t work and the air conditioning filter hadn’t been cleaned in forever (at least I could address that myself). Staff was very courteous and friendly but we wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pool was not clean, floor a little sticky(had to ask for a mop) and the room smelled like paint. The phone did not work and wasnt fixed until my departure day. The room was modern and there were lots of places to eat nearby.

Ended up having pneumonia and chose to return home. The staff was great and refunded authorized hotels.com to issue me a refund for my unused night. Waiting to see if hotels.com comes through.

when i checked in at about 1030 at night i was exhausted from driving with 4 kids and it took forever to check in even though there was 2 people at the desk only 1 was helping customers.

Overall okay. They didn’t have an iron or ironing board in the room and we had a family event. We called the manager and she didn’t know where they were until housekeeping arrived. That’s not good for night management. Breakfast was breads and cereals. Not like competitor motels. We were offered rooms for a wedding at a later date and we think we will find another hotel.

At check in it was clear to see that our room wasn’t properly cleaned. There was a strong odor in the room. Chair and counters cruddy. The floor which could’ve been easily cleaned wasn’t. (not carpet)). Visible dirt spots. Hair in bathroom. Toilet and shower dirty and mold in shower. Would not stay again or recommend.

We needed a place to stay on our way to Nags Head. This hotel was the most reasonable for one night in this area. But the room had a musty odor, the desk/countertops had all sorts of smudges/prints and our feet turned black from the floors (not carpet). This just didn’t match with an $300 a night stay at similar hotels. All in all for the price I was very disappointed. Won’t stay here again.

Front Desk staff by the name of Yah, was very professional. She had a lobby full of customer's and handled each one of them in a timely manner, and including the customers that was on the phone.

The hotel is clean, staff is very pleasant - including housekeeping. Breakfast is bare bones but workable. Queen room was small as was the toilet/shower combo. But the price was right and location worked well. There is a Denny’s immediately adjacent, a pizza restaurant & a Subway all within walking distance. Gas station is equally close.

Room was not cleaned when we checked in. The room we were reassigned was not cleaned and the toilet was disassembled on the floor and the door was standing wide open. The third room was fine and in excellent condition.

They were in the middle of remodeling. The door to the room did hang properly, so light flooded the room. The door on the shower was not seated properly, when you took a shower the water went all over the floor. Too much dust from the work taking place. No lobby, no where to sit.

As others had stated in previous reviews, hotel was being remodeled so there was dust, etc in the lobby and elevator. It is obvious, however, that they are TRYING to keep the common areas as clean as possible while remodeling. The remodeling did not affect our room which was located on a floor that had already been remodeled. Room floor was a little sticky in some parts and the top of the nightstand and desk were sticky but were fine after we wiped them off. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was very attentive to our needs when we asked. This is not a luxury hotel but that’s not what we were looking for and it worked just fine for a short stay.

The property is under construction, there is plastic, paint and dust everywhere; I was truly stunned that the hotel is open in this condition. There was urine on the back of the toilet in our room, from a previous (presumably) male occupant. Floor was dirty. Sink didn't look like it had been cleaned. Breakfast was a few cheap baked goods and prepackaged Jimmy Dean sandwiches set up on a table outside the elevator, since the dining area was under construction. We were woken up by a guy yelling in the hallway at 1 a.m. Hallway and entranceway smelled like marijuana. Definitely will not be staying here again.

My like was area very quiet and the staff was awesome. Dislike: Wifi was not working, After i stepped out and came back they changed and replaced towels did not fix my bed. It was huge bug on the wall of room and know one was there to kill it. I dont do bugs. Manager couldnt figure what was going on with wifi i watched 2 channels the whole weekend.

The property was under construction, heavy smell of paint & paint remover , the air conditioner was not very cold and the door key issues of not working. It took the front desk at least 16 tries to get access for the room key. No breakfast like stated there would be. Staff at desk not courteous at all . I should have been made aware under construction so I could go elsewhere. Not happy with this trip at all. Very very dissatisfied.

We stayed due to a visit at a local college. Upon entering the room, it smelled like mildew. The bathroom shower stall was dirty. The cleanliness overall was minimal at best.

Attention to detail is not a strong suit of the housekeeping staff. There was trash and crumbs in the corners and under the desk, and although the washcloth and hand towel were neatly folded, there was a dark, short, and curly hair on the washcloth.
