I booked believing breakfast was available. Unfortunately on Saturdays its available at 7 not 6 am on weekdays. I had to catch my flight at 7 am so I took the first shuttle out
The night receptionist was difficult to understand so i struggled

What a dump! I was on the 4th floor. Carpets were old, bubbled, tacked down with tape in some areas. Kitchen had two dilapidated pots with loose handles and a frying pan. Only one dishwasher soap provided—no liquid hand soap for hand washing. Cabinets had two plates, two forks, two glasses…you get the picture. This was living ROUGH.

This hotel is quite old and dated. But the room is clean and comfortable, very convenient with kitchen and utensils. The reception staff was very friendly.

This hotel seemed to be just coasting along and will soon
need refurbishment. Rooms well-equipped but it looked as thought the self-catering facilities were rarely used !
The breakfast arrangements were poor and this area requres a radical re-think. The shittle service was good and much appreciated if the visitor (like me) did not have
peersonal transport.

Good location, quiet and clean

This was during the power outage in the Pacific northwest. There was no soap in the bathroom, and I called that night I checked in and asked for it, didn't get it until I called again the next day. I hung out my clean room sign and came back in the room was still as I left it. I was told that those door hangers weren't valid anymore and one had to request maid service by phone. Then why did they still have the door hangers available?

Did not check in, the hotel had no power.

My parents visit me from Florida, even with Bomb Cyclone, hotel staff did their best to keep them comfortable.

My room smells like cigarette smoke. The power went out. The security guard was super rude. I asked for a refund and they said since it was a third-party that hotels.com would have to issue it.

It was great that before my stay staff was very accommodating to my request.

It was good and the staff was friendly but it was a little dilapidated and out of the way.

Clean place, friendly staff, so so bed, so so pillows. Quiet and convenient location.

Nice people. Convenient to the airport. Clean. But definitely dated. Could use a face-lift.

The property was a bit dated but was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent.

When I first stayed at the Larkspur in Renton 10 years ago, it was fine. It's been going downhill since then. Furniture, lamps, etc. in the room are still the exact same, paint/wallpaper and carpet are beyond ready to be replaced. Hole in the floor next to the A/C, which wasn't working either. The wall thermostat is so old, it still has mercury in it. The bathroom was clean, but didn't exactly smell fresh, so I had to keep the door closed to help with the unpleasant odor. Lobby, hallways, entrance areas could all use some upgrades, or at least a fresh coat of paint. I wanted to give this place another chance after it was already a bit run down a few years ago, but it's not worth it. When I checked out, the woman at the front desk seemed irritated that I had interrupted her chat with her coworker. She managed to give me my receipt without making eye contact and promptly went back to her conversation. If you find yourself in need of a place to stay in the area, the Sonesta Select next door is clearly the better choice.

The staff went above and beyond to serve us during our stay. We appreciated the courtesy shuttle to/from the airport as well as w/in 5 mile radius of the hotel.

There was hair in bathroom sink, counter top and in the ba k of the toilet. There was something on one of the nightstands.

Staff was very kind, but I wouldn't stay here again. Neighborhood is creepy, breakfast is a bunch of prepackaged non-perishable inedible junk, and much of the hotel is dated and in disrepair. I couldn't even get into my room because the door locks are tired and old. And this is coming from someone who stays in hotels ~80 nights a year.
That said, staff was very friendly and the room was clean

The hotel was clean, albeit, a bit dated. The room we had was very generous in size featuring a fully functional kitchen & separate bedroom.

Easy check in process, staff was very communitive. Shuttle ervice to and from airport and within 5 miles of hotel. Shuttle drivers were very nice and accommadating. Took us to the lightrail so we could easiky get downtown and explore. Numerous breakfast options. Having a full kitchen was nice and convenient.

Helpful staff, very quiet and clean. Only problem was with the TV which sound would cut in and out.

Older property but was still nice. Close to airport but a bit far from town center.

This property is very run down and in need of renovations

Our stay was comfortable. It was just for an overnight stay for an early morning flight. Very nice that they have a shuttle to take you directly to the airport.

Although the property was close to our event it felt a bit in need of some deep cleaning in hallways and common areas. the breakfast was NOT breakfast it was packaged convenient store items with some yogurt and in a very tight area hard to get to items. It was not worth the price of the room.

Building was somewhat dated, which gave it some appeal if you like that sort of thing. The music playing in the background added to that old fashioned feeling.

This hotel was chosen as it was close to my boyfriend's grandpa's memorial.
The hotel is definitely very dated and could use some remodeling. This hotel's cleanliness though, is above average. Also, the rooms each have a kitchenette. Regular sized fridge, mini stove, microwave, sink, a little dishwasher, and even some plates, pots, and silverware were included. If you were looking to save money and not eat out, this would be a great hotel for that.
We did have an incident with the staff though, that makes me not rate this hotel very highly. When we checked in, my boyfriend needed to move some money in his bank accounts real quick for the incidentals as we prepaid the room. It literally took him less than a minute. The employee at the counter stated she wanted to go on a smoke break and gave us our keys without putting a card down for the incidentals as she did not want to wait. She was nice and nothing bad about the interaction. We came back to our room on the second night of our stay, tired and just wanting to get into our room, and our keys had been deactivated. We went down to the desk and they basically made us re-check in (even though we were leaving early the next morning) because we did not have the card down for incidentals. They did not try to call us or even leave a note on our room door, just inactivated our keys and prevented us from getting to our things. Very irritating and unprofessional. This hotel definitely needs to do some better training with the staff.

The room is spacious, but why do rooms with king sized beds (often meaning 2 people) never have 2 chairs? To be fair, there is one cozy chair and the desk chair can be moved to allow 2 to watch the oddly placed tv. The bed was very used...i used a pillow to keep me from rolling into the center. It was surprisingly okay after that. For 1 night, it was not too bad.

Loved the free breakfast and free coffee all day, Will definitely be back

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Staff was fabulous on check in. Furniture is a little outdated and the wrinkled carpeting in the hallway makes rolling your luggage a bit difficult. But the place smelled wonderful, rooms were clean, and bed was very comfortable!

Loved the location!

The hotel is in need of an update. Tiles in the bathroom were loose, grout had disappeared. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great, but we otherwise had the feeling we were staying at an older motel 6.
The free breakfast was underwhelming. Wishing we had chosen the Hilton Garden Inn nearby…

Great quiet property, great staff

We travel frequently, but we experienced nothing unique. There needs to be better maintenance, in our case the element on the hairdryer was burned out and blew cold, the air conditioner was very loud, we were left no hand soap in the dispenser, and the shower head needs repair: it never closed completely off down below on the bottom faucet. The staff at the desk was helpful and pleasant and retrieved a bag my husband left in the room so we didn't miss our plane! Breakfast was mediocre and some of the staff covering this area were excellent, but there was one who sat and talked on her phone as things ran out. Coffee on Sunday was cold and was not attended to. Ended up at Starbucks. We confused them by booking 2 nights on Expedia, then adding an early extra day. We are waiting to see how it all falls out on our credit card bill because billing looked really wonky. However, the suite sizes were excellent and very quiet with high quality TVs.

It was a spacious room. Comfortable bed. Not very great breakfast options and I never saw any cookies but overall it was good.

Comfortable to stay here for two nights.

It was a very nice stay. The room was big and clean. It wasn't perfect but very close. The best thing was the staff was helpful and the shuttle was useful for both getting to the airport and the rail line heading to Downtown Seattle. We will probably stay here again.
