I stayed at this hotel with my family for a weekend getaway, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The worker at the front desk during the night shift was rude and racist! He made a scene and was calling us liars! He asked for our IDs and threatened to call the cops! He also insulted our backgrounds and took unrelated ID documentation. We felt humiliated and scared. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The bed was uncomfortable and the TV didn’t work. We expected a friendly and professional service from the staff, but instead we felt unwelcome and harassed. The hotel should train their staff on how to treat guests with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or identity. They should also apologize for their behavior and compensate us for our inconvenience. This was the worst hotel experience we ever had. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

First is all.. the listing is false advertisement! The rooms smelled like bleach and raid. The rooms also looked a bit mistreated. The TV remote never worked we asked for their assistance and for the weekend that we were there no one came to fix it. But the person that checked us in was nice. Will probably not recommend this place nor return

I do not recommend this place to noone half ass clean rooms had to ask for clean sheet's.

Not enough lighting in the room. Whoever designed or built this motel did not understand how high the the humidity would be in the rooms. The temperature was fine, but the whole room was tiled. Even before I ever had taken a shower the floors were slippery with condensation. As a person with a prosthetic leg I found it very hard to get around the room. This was supposed to be a handicap room with a shower chair or bench! It was not ADA compliant.

Best sleep I’ve had in years. The bed was wonderful. I would have enjoyed a small lounge chair in the empty corner. Will highly recommend to friends and family.

Location is close to the 83 expressway easy to going in and out.

For the price is not a good place. I can hear what other rooms where talking.

Manager argued with me due to his employee providing wme with wrong info. Reserved a room just to know I had to wait 3 hours in lobby with my two little girls...

There were lots of roaches in the sink. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and they were definitely full size. Pillows suck, elevator is broken, towels are not full size and no one cleaned our room

fisrt they have problems with my reservation, my room was prepaid and they didnt have idea of my reservation. then didnt want me to check in with my mexican pasport as my id. there was a lot of people drunk around the "pool area" and the lobby wich made me feel very inconfortable, its so not family appropiate. the room was the worst ir smells so nasty. its the first and last time i choose this "hotel"

Positives: The staff was polite and helpful. The interior is recently refurbished. Clean and looks good. Beds were comfortable. Economical, "no frills" but the price was "right." Negatives: While the exterior is being renovated so some clutter is to be expected, the grounds had litter and trash, even around the pool, which was not picked-up during our 48 hour stay. To be fair, just about every community near the border has a problem with litter, but it should be picked-up by the staff at a hotel as a matter of daily routine. Also- Water pressure in the shower was pretty low. I understand the need to conserve water, but we still need to get clean. All-in-all, a positive stay. The staff's positive attitude is a big plus, along with the clean and comfortable room. I "got my money's worth." I would have given them a "4" except for the litter and the water pressure. Good bet they will address these issues.

Even though still under construction, we had a restful, peaceful Awesome night sleep. Great & helpful night & day staff. It just needs more outside street entrance sign & lights from FM1015. I will stay there again in future travels to Weslaco/ Merceds and recommend it to my friends.

As soon as we walked in the the hotel, the great hospitality began. The staff was very accommodating with anything we asked. Very clean! You could tell that the people that worked there took alot of pride in their facility and making sure guests were taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Don't stay here. No A.C. Then they want to offer me a box fan. And refuse to give managers name and also refused to give me refund. and had to wait 2 hours and 45 minutes. For them to respond. I had to spend another $100.00 to get another room.

I stayed here once before and it wasn't bad but the second time was terrible. The shower head was terrible and housecleaning never stopped by my room once. I had to request new towels and sheets and change them myself. Also the air conditioner was broken. I was sweating all night.

There were no towels, soap, neither shampoo. It was not clean at all. There were no way to control the Air conditioning.

Nice Appointments in room, but the room was quite small. Housekeeping and desk staff were excellent. Room was well maintained and well worth the cost.

Medium priced hotel that is simple; good for short stays - the pillows suck though

embarrassed even to say we stayed there but pictures looked good

room was cleaned @ 5:30 PM and it went downhill from there.
