I stayed 4 nights and was charged over $800.00 because of a local industry function. I wasn't traveling with a pet but was placed on a pet floor and my room smelled like a wet dog. This was a nice hotel in 1980 something but yikes not anymore. The staff was nice, but they didn't replace the single serv coffee maker that had something growing in it. "Something Green in Water Reservoir" The TV didn't work correctly, and the mattress had a body impression that you would eventually end up sleeping in through the night.

First night was terrible. Hotel is being remodeled and the room the first night was not habitable. AC needed servicing. It was loud and inefficient. Lights by bed didn’t work….wire was cut (remodeling issue). Shower didn’t work (remodeling issue). Coffee maker didn’t work (missing parts). Overall untenable room. Son was with me and I rented another room for him due to all the problems with the room. Next day got another (different) room. The new room was remodeled and ready for tenancy. No problems with the new room. Son was able to stay with me in the new room eliminating the need for a separate room. I feel the first night’s room should have been refunded due to its unfinished and uninhabitable state, and the fact that I had to get a second room so my son could sleep (due to AC noise and overall uninhabitable condition of first room). I was not offered any refund or discount.

The hotel is in an ok area. The restaurant next door smelled amazing. The hotel, well it was in rough shape. The elevators are so slow the stairs are a much quicker option. The carpet was the only thing in good condition, which is odd. The hallways are lit with a dull dingy yellow light The wall paper is coming off pretty much anywhere you look. There are water leak marks in the ceiling every several feet. Cement outside is cracked and stained. The entire hotel has a wierd not pleasant odor. The room was remodeled? I mean it smelled like new paint. All the smoke dectors were covered in plastic and taped off. The floor appeared new. The TVs were like 32 inch models The bathroom needed jesus. The bed was comfy. Severe lack of blankets. The AC was set to 70 and never shut off since it ever got down to 70 in the room. Totally not worth what I paid and I will not stay here again. We did not habe breakfast based on the condition of the hotel.

they hotel was run down and needs some up dates. The bath tube was rusty and I didn't really want to get in it but had to. The place needs some cleaning done. but I like the location and if they update the hotel would be back

Pool closed for whatever reason though full of water. Hideous noise right outside my window both days from 10:00 to 5:00 from the carpet cleaning truck. Couldn't even hear the voice on the other end when I tried to make calls. Had to replace my room keys 3 different times during a two night stay---and, no, I didn't let them touch any electronic device. And the staff's attitude was lousy; the exception being the lady who pulled the all night shift.

Staff was amazing but since I had my pups I feel I was placed in the most run down room because they're clearly remodeled and remodeling the floor I was on and it wasn't very clean. Hard to explain but other than that staff was so awesome and hopefully if I stay there again it will be in a remodeled room that is cleaner. My pets are crated and I assume they put us there worried about accident or dog stuff.

Paid 77 plus tax for a Fall Friday night late last minute .Comfortable and spacious room. Gross amount of trash including old food candy/ crackers crumbs,different hairs and dust bunnies under the bed misc small bits of trash. Found a single dead unknown bug under bedding on mattress. My wife was very polite when she let staff see the insect and condition of room right after arriving. Teen child and wife didn’t demand anything just gently let the front desk know;I was surprised my family was offered no comp nor discount no offer to clean the room or move to different room not even apology; just a shrug and comment “it’s an older building”. I’d have been too disgusted but it was late and my family is too nice a dirt won’t hurt took it in stride attitude but the hotel should’ve had better customer service and attempted to make this right. Great check in. 1st room still had trash in the can behind the work desk. When we pulled the sheets back to get in bed, there were crumbs, hair, and clumps of dust between the sheets. We were upgraded to an "Executive" room.Only thing different was a love seat instead of a recliner as spare seating, and no mini fridge.In fact there was trash (empty small Trojan box) in the spot for the fridge. No apologies from the night staff, just moved us to a room down the hall. This location needs serious cleaning. There were multiple stains on the carpets, some looking like recent blood drops. Our 2nd room had screws missing from the security bar on the door.The elevator was boderline filthy and the hallway had a "skunk like" oder along most of it.

Customer service was excellent. The room was a little outdated but was only there to get so rest from driving. The bed was super comfy, I fell alspeep instantly lol. The window curtain was ripped to where you could see inside from outside so i had to fix it so you couldn't see.

Property was favorable. Biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the room. There was dirty plastic cups left beside the bed where they had made the bed and in the bathroom there were q tips and the toilet wasn’t the cleanest. But overall the staff was nice and the breakfast was nice and room was comfortable.

Very spacious room. Bed comfortable. Bathroom needs a lot of work. No soap holder in the shower. There is a 5 inch square gaping hole where the soap holder goes. When using the shower the water gets into that opening and runs down behind the shower wall. That entire shower enclosure needs to be replaced. Very disappointed in this La Quinta facility!

Exterior looks great but the interior needs serious updates. The majority of our room’s outlets did not work. There were holes in the bathroom covered up with cardboard and tape. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly, however.

Filthy! Blood stained mattress’ (yes, more than 1. We had 2 rooms with doubles) in the rooms. Bathrooms were filthy. Tried to get different hotel at check in but 7 others were full. There is NO WAY the Health Department checks them, unless NC is such lower standards than OH!

The office manager and staff were lovely, however there was a homeless guy sleeping next to the staircase which we had to go up and down several times as we stayed with our dog. Also, since we had a dog we stayed on the second pet friendly floor, which didn’t smell great. I guess that’s what happens when they allow pets but my dog doesn’t pee indoors so it’s not nice to smell pet urine.

The staff was not friendly. I had issues checking in. Room was clean but the door wouldn't lock and the employee at the hotel argued with me about it and told me I didn't know how to work the door.

Upon checking in to our room there was dried urine on the toilet seat and hair on the bathroom counter. A refrigerator that sat on the floor like someone put no thought into a good place for it. First thing we saw when we opened the door. Someone else’s food was left in the fridge. Curtains were ripped and there was black mold above the window when we opened the curtains all the way. Just felt dirty being there. Obviously the only things done when cleaning and is remaking the beds.

The check-in was lengthy. One person doing the work and it felt like he was ordering catering for a wedding for each person in front of me. It took 5-10 mins per person. The bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The toilet had to be flushed 2x to go down. I won't stay here again, even for 67$. It wasn't worth it.
