Something was wrong with the toilet; it needed multiple attempts to flush. The restaurant once didn’t open on time for breakfast as scheduled, which caused inconvenience for several guests

I stood in this hotel, 4 nights. I went in the pool to take a swim, and then I couldn't get out because they didn't have a ladder. They had to stick a step ladder inside the pool so I could get out. The staff in the breakfast area are very rude. They don't say good morning, What's your room number without a smile?They don't even want to take care of you. When you ask them a question.. No one in this hotel seems to care.They lack a lot of customer service skills. They reduce the lobby area and put a lot of table so they could rent it out for events and it gets extremely loud.

This is a good (but old!) hotel located in a good neighborhood. But the services are far from being good. I arrived at 2 am in the morning and did my check-in but when I got to the room, there are no towels! (OK, I called reception, and they brought towels to the room). Just one! I expect that they would add an new set of next day, but no. I had the same towels during all my stay. In my last night, I asked the reception to schedule a transport to the airport, since I had to leave at 3:40am, but I heard that they don´t to do this service. I would have to call it on my own. At the end, the front desk made a phone call to a company and pass me the phone to make the arrangement. I never heard about an hotel that can not make transfer arrangement to the airport!

The hotel had a great value and location, and it was convenient to restaurants, stores and metro station. They provide free of charge parking in an adjacent building about 5-minute walk from the hotel. We found the staff very friendly and kind. The breakfast had a very large selection, but it was repeated all days of our stay. Some people may get 'bored' with same selection every day.

This was the return trip to this hotel, and staff delighted to see me as I also them! It’s nice downstairs. The room is nothing special especially as it’s almost exactly the same as the Park Plaza apartments which are far cheaper. My door didn’t lock which I didn’t find out about until I was checking out.

Great location. Hotel used to be really good. Unfortunately, service and cleanliness have lost their way during the pandemic and never returned. The infrastructure is terribly outdated and poorly maintained. Breakfast is a sugar bomb without any healthy options, rather than meat, fat and ultra-processed food. A shame really, as it used to be really good. Staff is obviously according to the environment, and lost also their motivation I guess...

We had a wonderful stay here. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Supermarket and subway across the road were so convenient and lovely restaurants easily walkable in every direction. Comfy bed and decent shower made it even better. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

The hotel is in a safe area of santiago which was a key reason for choosing it. Its a lovely property close to public transport. The reception welcomed me by name which was pleasing. It would have made the checkin experience even better if there was an offer of help with the luggage considering that I had a long journey.

I have come to this place since 1993. It has now reached an all-time low: Only one elevator out of two working for 80% of the stay, no Fifa Worldcup games on TV, shower simply dreadful despite me notifying reception, no laundry bags and list in the room, empty minibar (not even still water), breakfast used to be brilliant, now just stale bread and poor selection of other food, no place to park for pick-up or drop-off, no power outlets to charge the common collection of any traveller's mobile devices and laptop, broken cupboard door giving access to just half a cupboard, just one small soap in bathroom, ... should I really go on? Appears like a plaza, but amenities are worse that a hostel.

The guest feels, that everybody in Hotel Park Plaza does his very best to get the hotel out of the depression of Corona Lockdown. Each guest is treated like a King. The employees try to solve any problems immediately and most times with success. The kitchen is excellent and it is worth to take dinner here instad leaving to another restaurant. Breakfast is also very good. It is a nice oldfashioned english-type hotel with its old furniture and decoration. Unfortunately the most are as old as they look like. So many things need to be renewed or replaced.The most urgent are the water closets. They are of the old fashioned type, where the water turns around and creates a vortex and the paper and other parts keep swimming on the top until in the last two seconds, when they go down, or even not. The other urgently needed parts are slide glider under the chair legs in the restaurant. Without them they make a lot of noise when being moved. The swimming pool was out operation. The hotel intends to finish its maintenance until end of March 2023.

Location is great. Restaurant is nice also. People at front desk very serious not friendly at all. Cleaning service is poor Had an issue with someone who open the door without knocking on leaving door open. Made a complain and the answer was that someone didn’t follow the protocols leaving me with the impression of feeling in a not safe place.

The hotel was very nice. Check in was quick and the place is very nice. A little dated in the decoration but that only added to the charm of the place. Breakfast is fair, nothing special. The only good thing I can say about it was that it is included in the price. It is in a great location and we felt safe walking around. I would stay there again.
