Great short stay, good breakfast and close to the Falls.
3.0 / 5.0
Situated on large grounds the property is undergoing much needed renovation. The personal is very nice and they are doing their best to communicate and help. There are no surroundings. Need a taxi to anywhere. The pool needs to be cleaned. The breakfast was acceptable, dinner somehow limited in options. We found it a bit overpriced for the conditions

Not a 5 star hotel, not worth your money. It might have been a nice hotel in 1995 but now it is 2023. The rooms are big, the wifi does not reach every room, the 3rd room got a room without any lights, just... CHEAP.
Para los argentinos, NI LO PIENSEN está muy mal mantenido, solo la pileta es digna lo demás se cae a pedazos.

Hotel is in a good location but in urgent need of renovation.
Rooms and public areas look tired and almost worn out

Snack bar , bed liners , fridge noise

This hotel was terrible, and I’m surprised at the rating that has been given to it. The hotel was run down and had flies and ants everywhere. Lighting was very poor in the room. Hotel also lacked basic amenities and was just dirty. For example, the room didn’t even have hand towels. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly not be returning.

Very nice swimming pool, friendly staff, located just outside town of Foz de Iguazu, but room was alittle musty smelling with mildew and plumbing was alittle old. Hot water was plentiful after 3-4 minutes of running the faucets. Also, electricity goes out frequently for 3-5 minutes in evenings. But overall pretty good for the price.

Very big pool but the property does need some TLC as the carpets are worn out and the ceiling paint are pealing off.

Great location and a lot of friendly taxis that will safely take you to town. The town is very safe during the day and night.

Was actually better than what I expected..I’ve stayed in more expensive hotels in Argentina that were a whole lot less appealing than this hotel.
Breakfast was a little disappointing but that all depends on the menu of the day.. staff were friendly and hotel was spacious..a little more than in the pics online.
Overall was quite satisfy with our stay

Terrible hotel. Old and dirty carpets. Real nasty. Dirty pool. Staff did their best to help, but there weren't enough people working in the hotel. Looks like the business is going through serious financial trouble.

This hotel is out of town, so you need to pay for taxis to go to restaurants, the airport and the National Park. Buses are cheap, but a pain to catch in the heat. They do have an excellent buffet for breakfast and dinner if you want to avoid Puerto Iguazu.
Obtaining cash is very difficult, so bring plenty with you from Santiago. Most restaurants take credit card, but prefer tips in cash.

So, the only reason why I booked a few nights at this hotel was because of the reviews, which were mostly positive. Boy was I wrong. The condition of the place is in total disrepair. The wifi doesnt work AT ALL. Anywhere in the hotel. I asked two people at the front desk, but I wasnt able to get any help, because NO ONE SPEAKS A WORD OF ENGLISH AT THIS HOTEL. Literally, no one. How do you have a large resort in a 100% tourist town without anyone who can speak English? In my broken Spanish, I was able to ascertain that not only does the internet not work, it hasnt worked in over a year. But it gets worse. MUCH WORSE. During our first night, the phone rang in our room EVERY FIVE MINUTES from 1-6AM. You heard that right. I got up in the middle of the night, went downstairs (no one answers calls), and asked. They said it was a hotel-wide problem and they didnt know how to stop it. Awesome. Night 2 was as bad as night 1. The A/C didnt work (I forgot to mention that earlier), the fan in the room didnt work, the shower had no water pressure at all, and the carpet AND the sheets had stains on them. The next morning we woke up and had bed bug bites all over our bodies. Dont try and save money by staying at this dump. I thought it would be somewhere comparable between a Motel 6 and a Hampton Inn. Haha! It was 10 times worse than any Motel 6 Ive ever stayed in. If youre American, and are used to some bare minimum comforts, avoid this place at all costs.

This is typical 2.5-3 star hotel. The hotel is pretty old but rooms are clean and spacious. Air conditioner wasn't working in our room, they moved us to another room after 1hr of waiting.
Staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast is OK but not too much selection.
The only thing that possibly wasn't OK: They charged us 35 pecos (~$9) for one bottle of water from room bar.

The hotel was overall nice and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful but not always. The hotel and rooms need additional improvements and maintenance. The facilities such as fitness center need complete renovation.

The hotel sayds that have 5 stars for any standard it has only 3.
It is old and the Condition / maintenance is to little since opened 20 years ago.

This lovely and old school hotel makes a great, reasonably-priced base for exploring Igauzu Falls. No need to stay in the park and pay inflated rates for everyday rooms, when you can stay here, with large rooms at less than 1/3 the cost of the park hotel, comfortable bed, excellent if modest breakfast buffet, extensive heated pool with water slide and plenty of lounge chairs, 4 computers for guest use, mere 15 minute cab ride or public bus to the Argentine park, 10 minutes to the Brazilian border and 10 minutes to other restaurants in town. Charming details include large old-fashioned hotel key instead of card, room safe with removable lock instead of button-type and on-site excursion desk instead of concierge. Highly recommended for convenience and value. Note that the in-room safe is too small to hold a laptop.

Hotel is well maintained; Staff is very helpful in arranging tours and local interests. Service was excellent. Hotel has spa, tennis court, swimming pool, even a soccer field. Plenty of stuff for kids to do. I will recommend this hotel, even though it is away from town and the Iguazu Falls
