Habing stayed well over 20 times in this hotel, I am tired of seeing no renovation and even deterioration of infrastructure. The best the hotel has to offer is the service of the employees at the front desk, in parricular the manager TUti. But the hotel is less value than before. It needs refurbishment now!

Having stayed over 20 times at this nice hotel over the years, it is amazing the owner doesnt refurbish the rooms, which are very 80s. The amenities are terrible. But, the staff is great, really the best. Breakfast outstanding and location superb.

I have been staying, at this hotel since the 2000. There as some issues that needs to be improved and updated, as: TV's in the room(Very small), mattress too firm, the lighting is very dim, and provides a sad aspect to the environment. - The breakfast is very good!

Excellent hotel, very good service, great showers. The only issue I have with the hotel is that the street on which it is located is very noisy during the day. Ask for a Suite not facing the stteet

The online photos look much better than the actual rooms. The rooms are so outdated. The towels and sheets are very old and should be replaced. The air conditioner drips. And the room smells like mold. Of all the places we stayed on this trip to Brazil, this was the best neighborhood and the least favorable hotel.

Fairly decent independent place right in the middle of Brazil's most exclusive shopping street. Clean quiet and comfortable. Could use a little updating, but still a great find. I've already booked my next stay at the same hotel

it is centrally located on Rua Oscar Freire, the shopping hub. The surrounding is safe. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has a lot of fresh fruit, but going to bakery, there is only limited choice. We didnt we can ask the chef to give us some fried egg till the last day I saw somebody did, no body telling us when we come in.Swimming pool at top floor is small, but the issue is very dirty.

So-called fitness area is a box-like room with a few machines, but one doesn't stay here for the gym. If you want to be in the center of Sao Paulo and not spend a lot, this place is your ticket.

Had an extended stay after my return flight was cancelled. Two out of the five front desk people were extremely helpful with locating restaurants and giving directions to tourist attractions during my stay.

we stay at the Regent for one night and were very happy. The neighborhood is delightful with nice cafes down the road. The staff were very helpful and could assist us in English. A minor drawback was the hard bed. Would stay again if in the city.

This is a clean, efficient, and nice hotel in the heart of Jardins/shopping district, which is a safe and lively area of central Sao Paulo. It is great for business - it has a little-used conference room in the business center you can reserve, and the rooms are suites, with a sitting room/office and bedroom. Housecleaning was very efficient and good, and the breakfast had a lot of variety in a calming wood-paneled room. The gym could be improved - it is small, and the machines are a bit creaky - but the hotel seemed to have passes to neighborhood gyms.

It's a classic Sao Paulo-style flat: a simple suite with a decent bed, very simple table with chairs, uncomfortable foam sofa and a full kitchen. The rooms are clean, noise levels are very low, the people are nice, the shower is hot and strong. The neighborhood is the best in town The downside: the hotel internet is so bad it might as well not exist. Just go outside to any restaurant to get decent connectivity free of charge.

Typical Brazilian hotel - meaning not luxurious. But great location...safe, easy to get to wonderful restaurants, well known area and street for locals to know where you are. English is easy with some of the staff, more challenging for others but all try hard to understand and never dismiss you because you're not speaking Portuguese. Some of the staff remembered me from a previous visit a few months prior. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for four nights - great location in a really nice part of Sao Paulo. Lots of restaurants, cafes, shopping and the city's style set! Room was ok - very clean, but could do with a refurb. Staff were great, as was the breakfast.
