This was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had- every single staff member we met was incredibly friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond and helped us get into a room when we arrived quite a bit earlier from the airport than anticipated. The shuttle to and from the airport was so so convenient! There’s also a ton of food options very close by, a lot even within walking distance. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Milwaukee! :)

Having just experienced a horrible stay in a dirty, falsely advertised bnb, we were beyond ecstatic to find the Holiday Inn & Suites on Layton Ave, in Milwaukee. Booking our one night stay, online, was easy, and the front desk staff were extremely professional and friendly when we called to confirm an early check-in. When we arrived for check-in we were greeted by the staff at the front desk, and helped in an efficient and welcoming manner! Our room was very clean, the bed was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The online description stated a free breakfast, it was not free. Front desk said they had no one in kitchen, 15 minutes later guests were being served, public areas were dirty with sticky

Overall the property was ok. Staff was friendly and efficient in registering. Room was good, bed comfortable. My low scores are due to the mold found in the bathroom shower ceiling. I was going to shower but when I saw that & the extent (guessing 1’ diameter) I was turned off on using the shower. Otherwise, from all o could see, the room, bedding, lobby all seemed clean and pleasant.

All Staff members were extremely helpful and very nice people. Wish you had more elevators. We all had a blast with the pilots and bikers event so keep up the awesome work guys. 10”s across the board!!!

I travel and stay in hotels often. This particular experience was awful. I booked through Hotels.com which uses Expedia and chose this hotel specifically due to the availability of a one bedroom suite. The reservation was non-refundable. Upon arrival near midnight the room was not available even though I had already paid. The hoel manager blamed Expedia and said that i will have to take it up with them. Also, no linens were in the room for the sofa bed. The paid-for breakfast was not available even though we showed up before the restaurant closing hours since the server had to do an aiport run. Please consider another hotel before booking here.

The 2nd floor corridor carpets were extremely dirty and in terrible condition. So was out bathroom floor and the water flow in the shower was very low. Only the exterior of the hotel is in good shape.

The property was nice and the person who checked us in was friendly. But the room that I booked was not available (2 queen beds), and one of us had to stay on the couch instead of a bed. In addition, during breakfast, no staff member came to collect my breakfast ticket or acknowledged that I was there for breakfast. Overall it was a nice hotel, but I'm not sure if I would stay again due to not having the room we booked or not being acknowledged by staff.

Room was on first floor with windows toward parking lot. Could hear loud groups outside sporadically late at night. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean, but very outside of room carpet wet and stained. Not sure where front desk clerks were. Although we got apology, service in restaurant was almost non existent. Several people unhappy and walking out. Breakfast is not buffet, have to order. Food was not worth the wait. Didn’t use, but pool area looked nice.

The sheets and pillow cases had stains on them, the bathroom floor was sticky, the guide on the t.v. all said "information unavailable", t.p. was low, only one elevator, coffee maker had scaling on it - doesnt look like it was cleaned in awhile.

Staff was friendly. Smelled like a nursing home in the hallway and floors were not vacuumed for a while it seemed. Room was not very clean. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Definitely not enough parking.

Terrible experience. We had 3 different rooms during our one night stay. First room had an open window, broken screen and broken ceiling with visible mold. Second room was dirty and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and pot. When sharing concerns with front desk was told they had no available rooms and handed me a can of Lysol. Once I shared my concerns with Expedia and they contacted hotel all of a sudden the hotel had a cancellation and could move my son (who has asthma) and I. Our third room was much better and seemed like a different hotel. However, the next morning the smoke smell had pretty much infiltrated all floors. Would not stay again. If you do stay do not accept any room on the first floor as both rooms on that floor were dirty and seemed to have a different cleaning expectation. Third floor was much cleaner, towels were folded properly, soap dispensers were safely attached to wall and not broken, sheets seemed cleaner, beds were even made differently. Never have had an experience like this (and I travel a great deal for work and pleasure) and hope to not have another experience like this again.

Front desk person was extremely helpful polite the best part about the hotel actually. En route to my room a number of rooms exposed sheets that were replaced for bedding and was not picked up all laying on the floor down the hallway.

Room 335–Floors and bathroom was dirty, sink barely drained, room reeked of cigarette smoke at night, lampshades had red stains, housekeeper tried to enter my locked room uninvited at 10:30am (checkout is noon) after already knocking on the door an hour earlier asking if I needed towels. Seemed suspicious. Common areas were dirty too. I would not recommend
