I stayed for 2 nights as a solo female traveller. The staff were very helpful despite my awful Swedish, the room was larger than I expected and clean when I got there. I made use of the luggage storage on my day of arrival and day of leaving which was really handy and saved me dragging my bag around the city all day.

Close to the main spots, and great basic amenities. Friendly staff.

I had forgotten to bring my passport with me and did not have photo ID.
The lady was very helpful and accepted another form of ID plus the photo of my booking.

The only positive thing right at the beginning was that I was allowed to park my motorcycle for free on the pontoon between ships 2 and 3. But that was about it as far as positive things go.
My room on ship 2 was very small, but the view of the water was great.
The background noise in the evening and halfway through the night was an absolute disaster.
It was impossible to sleep until 1am, even with the window closed (the only air supply at all) AND with earplugs in my ears.
The deafening noise had two sources. One was a party ship ("Patricia Nightclub") 400 meters away, and the other was the main ship of my hotel itself.
As I had booked two nights, it cannot be assumed that this was a one-off incident. On both nights it was not possible to sleep before midnight until 1am.
Breakfast was pure mass processing. All the tables were almost always occupied and there was always a queue of people at the food area. In addition, there was always something missing and had to be requested again. No plates, no coffee, no bread rolls, no juice. The guests were constantly asking for something, there was never everything there.
I had to make this experience on both days, at different times (even shortly before the end of breakfast at 10 am).
I THEREFORE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

I loved staying on a boat and the location was percent. The views were amazing.

I loved it— it fit our needs well and was a unique experience. The room was teeny tiny, but that’s as advertised. It’s not shiny or glamorous, but that’s to be expected for the price. The only surprise was when we opened the windows, a lot of spiders crawled in. The flyers at the reception desk were extremely helpful. The walking tour we took was phenomenal and we used the the discount code to go kayaking, and it was very fun!

Cleanliness

Everything was good. The boats are a bit old but the room was sparkling clean and the location is unbeatable.

Very reasonable for the location, not luxury, but a wonderful change of pace staying on a boat. Great views and the Thai restaurant was very good, I recommended sitting in the life boat if the weather is good. Cosmetically the boats need a little refresh, but that did not detract from our stay.

Clean and fresh rooms. Not very spacious but if you’re just looking for a place to crash at night this is it. Surprisingly calm at night, polite and helpful staff in the reception.

The view on our room is amazing. The room is big and plenty of space. The common kitchen is perfect if you want to make your own breakfast.

Not that far from main attractions, but expect at least a good 15 minutes walk to find shops and restaurant or the metro.
Small cabin but lovely, great atmosphere, cozy and friendly

Quirky and different place to stay. I hadn't realised it was more of a hostel with shared bathrooms - and frankly I feel a bit too old for that. That being said, it was the kindest staff top to bottom, cleanest rooms and facilities, and best location.
Upon departure I was told they do have a few suites with private bathroom, so maybe another time with an upgrade 😊

Really enjoyed my stay here. Only issue was my bed on the bottom bunk was a bit squeaky and pillow was a bit on the small side but other than that a great stay. Friendly service and would recommend. Great price.

Here are the things that I loved most about this hostel/hotel: comfortable bed, cozy duvet and nice firm pillows, excellent shower (water pressure and temperature were perfect!), strong flush toilet, ample toilet paper, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels provided, central location (15 minute walk to Old Town, 20 minute walk to Central Station/city centre), 2 major supermarkets about 300-500 metres away (Willys and ICA), on site Thai restaurant and optional breakfast (I didn't use either during my stay), friendly and helpful staff, free secure luggage storage, WC in the common area, slight movement and rocking of boat which helped me to sleep very soundly/peacefully, city maps, fully equipped kitchen for guests to use (coffee maker, kettle, oven, stove top, 2 microwaves, cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and bowls, coffee mugs and cups, flatware, 2 massive fridges and 1 massive freezer for food storage etc.), dish soap, drying rack and sponges etc., regular housekeeping and cleaning, strong and secure wifi signal.
My only minor complaint about the room was the sink. The tap didn't really line up with the sink, so water went all over the floor when I went to wash my hands. Minor annoyance, but I found the misalignment very strange!

The location was wonderful and the room was very spacious. I would recommend this place to my friends for sure!

Loved the location, easy to access all the sights we wanted to see. It is an old ship and so rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

Nice location, but rather loud in the main area (and the doors do little to keep noise out. More of a hostel vibe even if you book a private room.

Great view, simple facilities, satisfactory service

Great location & beautiful view!

Clean and ideally located room, basic room with shared facilities, you basically get what you pay for, very reasonable rate for staying in the heart of the city, views are great.

Everything was fine for me, staff did their best to be helpful. If you’re dead set on luxury- not for you. I’d like to note that as far as I’ve observed, it is unsuitable for children and people with limited mobility due to it being boats with somewhat difficult access and they do disclose on the fire hazards upon arrival.

Great value stay. The superior quarters were really great and well worth the upgrade! Awesome views of the water which aren’t adequately conveyed through pictures. The boats are definitely showing their age particularly on the outside but the inside was kept clean. Will certainly consider for our next stay

Loved the view of the City Hall, water etc

It was a great place to stay! Super clean and good location.

The place was nice in total, in the center, the view is real nice (we took a room with sea view). But the window glass in our room was broken so it affected our overall happiness.

No hot water in the shower

It was a unique hotel, especially if you’ve never stayed on a boat before. The rooms were small but cosy and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was shared with one other room and it was clean. The only issue is there was no hairdryer and no hot water in the shower but luckily we only had a 2 night stay.

Honestly you just couldn’t expect more for the price you’re paying. I mean yes sure you have a shared bathroom, and in the hostel options you might not get a free towel refresh before the 3 days, but the rooms and sheets are really clean, bathrooms too (even though they’re shared). Plus if you ever need something they can provide you with it, sure it might cost an extra, but if you remember how much they’re giving you the room for, you can afford to have a small budget for emergency situations.
Staff is super friendly and available 24/7 to help you with your requests

I booked a room with own bathroom but there was no proper shower in the room. It also came only cald water.

I stayed at a hotel recently, and unfortunately, the lack of heating made my experience quite uncomfortable. The cold rooms made it difficult to relax, and despite addressing the issue with the staff, there was no resolution. I would recommend ensuring proper heating facilities for guests in the future.

Great stay and lovely location

We booked the suite and we absolutely loved it! It has such an amazing view over Stockholm and even though it was cold and snowing outside, it was so lovely and warm on the boat. We didn't use the balcony much as it was so cold but would probably have used it a lot more if it was summer. Great value, lovely staff, convenient location and great to have a kitchen to use. Loved it 😊

Really nice experience. A must for Sweden, friendly staff and nice atmosphere

Cleanliness was very good. Room was nice and warm with radiators you could control. Great location and price. Bed was way too small. Curtains were tiny and thin and you had bright light shining into the room at night and the walls were very thin too so lots of noise.
2.0
The staff was actively performing construction on the boat they put us in. We were woken up before 8am by the sound of loud drilling and banging. We tried to make the most of it, went and got breakfast, and came back to try and nap later in the day (when we were more tired and could try to drown out the construction noise). We slept for about 20 minutes before the construction set off the fire alarm. This hotel should NOT be making customers pay for rooms in a boat with this invasive level of construction. It was impossible to get any rest here.

Excellent

Stayed at boat no. 3 and it is in good shape. The other two boats are not refurbished as lately as no. 3 which of course affects the impression during the stay. The standard is more on par with what you will expect from a hostel than a hotel but as long you are aware of that it is a good stay. There where no issues regarding the stay and everything went smoothly

Very cool experience
