The hotel itself wasn’t too bad. Only bad thing is the bed was hard as a rock and sleeping was uncomfortable.

A close hotel to Disneyland, it’s an easy walk and affordable rooms make it a place we normally stay when visiting Disneyland

We stayed here for a Disney trip. The parks were walkable from the hotel through the Downtown Disney side. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel. It was a little cramped, but it was clean and safe. The room is not soundproof and the neighbors above and around us kept us up at night.
3.0
Stayed here because of high ratings but not sure how their score is so high. Maybe issue was we (and additional family) stayed on lower level of 2 story and guests upstairs were loud - sounded as if moving furniture nonstop. Building sounded as if constructed of metal...absolutely awful.
Pros: price, free parking, decent location to Downtown Disney (we did pay for parking on last day of checkout)
Cons: rooms/building were strangely loud, shower head height is perfect if under 5 ft tall, our room had a small tv (maybe 32", or less) (additional family's room had a much larger tv), not much in immediate surrounding area, beds and linens felt cheap.

Our stay was pleasant, but the musty smell in the room was quite bothersome. The exhaust fan wasn’t working, which intensified the humidity in the space. Improving this aspect would make the experience much more enjoyable.

10 minutes from Disney. It's renovated, shower was good. 15% off dining at Dennys next door. They serve coffee but i like my espresso so i got my coffee at Disney as well as down the road. Overall, it was quiet, very convenient location for Disneyland and great customer service.
5.0
The parking lot is small, so if you’re out late, you might not have a spot when you come back, but other than that, everything is as perfect. The room was a lot bigger than expected. It was clean, comfortable, and an all around good time. I’m not in Anaheim often, but I do plan to make this my regular hotel for when I am.

Staff is great & kind. Room was clean. Parking was tight and full.

Great hotel for a weekend trip to the parks. Clean and quiet and 5 min drive. We would stay again.

This is a good value for the price and proximity to Disneyland. The bed was fairly uncomfortable and there weren't many amenities, but for the purposes of the trip, not much were needed. The shower was outdated and could use better pressure.

It was a great experience, we love this property and the staff is very friendly. We were able to walk to Disney, no problem. The pool is amazing! Not heated, but refreshing!

Room was very small and not worth what i paid. It was literally a small bedroom size with a small bathroom. Very outdated and the room smelled.

Its was ok. 20 minute walk to Disney. Check in time is at 2:00 but my room was not ready until 3:00. Very disappointing. Room was ok for the money.

Several roaches in bathroom and around bathroom sink. Hotel is very outdated. Not sure how this was a 8.6 rating by everyone else. Free parking was a plus. Checked out early after finding the roaches and when I did the clerk asked the reason and I told him and he did not even seem to care. Even shared a photo.

I pulled open the sheets and found several black hairs on the sheets. They claim that it’s a 10-15 min walk to Disneyland….its not. The gps says 24 mins minimum. Very outdated. I’d rather pay the extra money and stay on harbor and have better cleanliness and service.

A pleasant and clean motel. Everything (TV, AC, fridge, etc.) was functional. Very close to the park.

We spent 2 nights in Annaheim Discovery Inn & suites. It had everything we needed and was only a 15 min walk from Disneyland Park. There is a Dennys avout a 5 min walk from the property.
I'd recommend the property for visiting Disneyland.

The receptionist, who was present most days, was not at all helpful. When I requested a taxi's phone number, he refused to provide it. He also did not respond to several of my questions and appeared angry. Upon inquiring about his behavior, he mentioned that he was busy with studies and late nights. This was very disappointing. However, the weekend staff and the cleaning crew were polite.

They let you park your car on the day of the park even after checkout.

For me it's the best value, stayed there for years when an event is going on near Disneyland. Walking distance to the parks, convention center, the staff are always nice, my rooms are always clean, fridge, microwave. Dining options are limited unless you like Denny's. I like Marri's Italian food near by. Parking included, traffic off Katella and Disney nightly fireworks can be loud, the only thing that it is missing for me is an in room coffee maker, limited morning hours coffee in lobby. No coffee shops near by. Gotta have my coffee. Bring cups and microwave for later.

The staff was extremely nice. The pool couldve used a little touch up only because it had bugs and leaves nothing crazy other than that it was clean. Honestly its a great stay and affordable. They dont have a ridiculous parking fee like other hotels in that area. The parking is small and limited yet the staff worked their magic and found me a spot. The room was nice and clean.

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Loved the short walk to Denny's. Bed was hard and not comfortable for me, but it was okay for my husband. Long walk to Disneyland with no signs telling you where to go.We just followed the crowd. I don't know if there was a shortcut. Nice hotel though.

This was our 2nd stay at the Discovery Inn. In BOTH cases we experienced the same wonderful results. The room was clean, and appears to have been renovated at some point a short time ago. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for the shower. The staff is very friendly. The rooms we stayed in had a small refrigerator, a microwave and a good size tv (with plenty of channels to choose from). The Inn is also located very near to the Disneyland resort( on the California adventure side) , a short walk away. Overall it’s a great place to stay. We have a family trip planned in November, we have already booked rooms at the Discovery Inn, we highly recommend staying here.

We were really only at the hotel for about 8 hours after visiting Disneyland for a one night stay, but everything was great. The beds were comfy, the AC was cold and cooled the room down fast after arriving at about 11:30pm. Check in was great, they allow you to park early on the day of check in for Disneyland which was super convenient. Cash deposit was nice so we just got it back the next morning instead of waiting to release a hold on my card. I just tried booking it again, but there’s no availability for my next dates… maybe next time.

Pros: everything is clean and the staff is wonderful. All of the positive reviews already written are accurate.
Cons: there are little things that could be updated. The water pressure isn't great and the temperature control for the water is confusing. Does it ruin a trip? Not at all, but I'm including this in case management is looking for things to improve.
Things to know: the beds are very firm. For some people, this will be great news. I have a hard time sleeping on an overly firm bed. Also, the TV doesn't have an HDMI hookup. Please understand that I'm not implying these are good or bad things, they're just things that one might want to know.
Another thing to know is that the Italian place down the street is amazing but order ahead. The convenience store nearby has almost anything you might want, but they charge for the convenience. The ART bus has a stop very close but the walk to the parks is shorter than it looks. That said, I never judge anyone for using the ART for a day of walking, and I suggest using it.
Great place to stay if you catch a good price. Be aware that their cancellation policies can be slightly different than other hotels on the site. The neighborhood tends to be quiet but I can see some people who are easily intimidated getting a little uneasy. But keep in mind that the same is true as soon as you step outside of the Disney bubble in any direction.
By every objective measure, it's a great place to stay.

Quiet and clean, 10 min walk to disneyland 5 min walk to downtown disney. Pool small but nice and no one used it but us! Good over all!

Very convenient to be able to walk to Dowtown Disney! Maybe 10 minutes to walk there, then you just have to continue walking to the parks (total time probably 25ish minutes to get into the park). Denny’s is nearby and you get a discount with your room key! The rooms were clean, bathroom was just a little small and the sink and tub were a bit clogged. There was only a nightstand on one side of the bed so we had to do a makeshift nightstand on the other side using a tray, but we made it work! Overall a great place to stay for the price and we’d definitely stay there again! Beware of the liquor store close by, we went there to get waters/small groceries for the stay and they had no advertised prices and overcharged for everything!

Room was clean except for the floor. I had to wash my feet after walking around barefoot before getting in bed, same witht the children. Bed was comfortable, but there was no blackout curtains just wood slat blinds that let in A LOT of light.
