Wonderful service We used the pool. Nice it was covered and not dependent on the weather. The restaurant was nice and the food good
3.0
Worn out. Simply things missing - bathrobe, completely water, etc.
breakfast was really good though
6.0
Hotel building and properties were well maintained and updated.
Staff at the desk was friendly but english was poor.
Restaurant staff was down right rude and inhospitable. Food was good but service negatively impacted the review.
Concierge or at the door person had to be convinced to get us a cab.

A bit dated, but clean. Some staff spoke English, but not the majority, which is problematic in a tourism-industry. Not a native English speaker I expect other languages than the country’s is spoken at hotels. Else friendly staff.

Nice room in a good location, but there was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling and it made noise all night long. Hallway ceilings were under construction, so there were large holes in the ceiling. Otherwise, it was fine and staff were helpful.

The staff is very nice and the hotel lobby is pretty. The rooms are very small and congested (beds and bathroom). Beds are hard and the linen is poor quality. Limited power outlets in awkward places around the room. Amenities in the bathroom were not refilled properly even after service.
The elevators are extremely slow and unintuitive and it takes forever to get to the room from the lobby and back. Still use stripe card keys that tend to get demagnetized easily.
Lastly in my case EXTREMELY noisy! There was construction going on right above my room and they ran a drill on a Friday morning from 8am till late evening. No warning was provided for me to make alternate arrangements in time for my office calls. Then on Friday night through Sat afternoon, the neighboring building had some sort of low whining alarm blaring through and through.

Colchão muito firme, só um travesseiro. Ar condicionado um pouco fraco.
Limpeza foi excelente.
Sauna, piscina grande e aquecida maravilhosa.
O vaso sanitário não dava descarga com pressão, quase impossível fazer tudo descer bem.
Mattress was very firm, only 1 pillow. Air conditioning was a little weak.
Cleaning was excellent.
Sauna was working fine and the pool is huge and heated.
Toilet had weak pressure, impossible to flush if toilet paper is thrown. Outdated features and look, however the room still looked alright.

Lovely hotel with excellent service by staff. Previously avoided the chain due to bad experience elsewhere. This might make me reconsider

Check in was a little rough… the 8th floor has the 1800 number rooms, not the 800’s, which is simple enough, but my key didn’t work, so I started to doubt it, then I needed the key to operate the elevator, so I was stuck.
The area is great for shopping and dining.
The rooms are small but a good layout with a tv that swivels from bedroom to living room with a kitchenette.

Great place, great service, rooms are clean.

Great and relaxing stay for 4 days. Loved the rooms, perfect pool water temperature, valet, and food service. Thank you!

Managers are helpful and attentive to my needs. I had the need of an extension and they were great.

Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and informative. Good location to get Ubers. Not too far from Avenida Paulista. Breakfast was also good. They are currently renovating the pool so couldn’t use it. But the small gym is a good to get a quick workout in! Comfortable beds!

Came to São Paulo on business and had to work close to Avenida Paulista. All of the other hotels were more expensive and didn’t offer much. Was more than happy with my stay at the Mercure. Safe neighborhood, with restaurants lose by. Hotel staff were fabulous!

Great and safe location, many restaurants and supermarkets you can walk to. Hotel is nice, staff is friendly, and my kid loved the indoor pool! I would be back in the future.

It's in the middle of sao Paulo making all uber trips quick. I felt safe there. My only complaint is they never cleaned the room while we were there unless we request it. We were there 4 days. I'm use to beds bing made everyday but not here. Maybe this is a good thing for privacy and to slow the spread of covid I'm not sure

The beds and pillows were the best I’ve experienced at a hotel.

This place is great. Love the pool, the gym, location, WiFi. All wonderful.

Mercure in Pinheiros was a great choice! Our room was spacious, everything was fresh and clean, we had a kind of mini-flat with a separate living room. Traveling with big suitcases, that’s quite necessary!
Service was flawless, they were always fast to help when needed and the breakfast had a great variety, nice atmosphere and service, once again. In the last month my boyfriend and I stayed in 3 good hotels in Sao Paulo near Av. Paulista and this was the best one!

This hotel is in a great upper mid class area of Sao Paolo with lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. It also has a good, well sized indoor pool. And the staff are generally polite and well meaning.
But - I had multiple problems, from a broken coffee machine and noisy A/C to non WiFi in my room which took two complaints before it was fixed. I reported a broken light, it was still not fixed after 2 days. Not good enough for a business hotel. I asked to see the duty manager to explain my dissatisfaction and give the hotel a chance to make amends, but she refused to see me. They display signs about a service satisfaction promise etc, but in reality clearly it means nothing. Generally the hotel needs a revamp, many small maintenance issues not attended to. So in spite of the good location, I will not return.

great neighborhood, great stay at Sao Paulo center region

The service and room was ok. Only that the room was cold. I could not seem to get the thermostat to increase the temperature to warm degrees. Room was 20 degrees Celsius for the entire week.
2.0
Rooms are ample and comfortable as they have a small living room / work place with a separate bedroom. The hotel is located around few good eating restaurants and cafeterias, bathroom could use a remodelación job but for business is a great place for the price of room.
Hotel has a nice tempered swimming pool and gym.
1.5
The rooms were ok, but non-smoking is more a concept with the room filling with smoke from neighbouring rooms in several occasions.
Although the food in Sao Paulo was great, the restaurant is the worst I have tried in some time. Avoid at all costs.
It has a good location and was clean

Mercury is ideal for a short trip like mine. The room is small but comfortable. Unfortunately, the air conditioner is a bit noisy and makes it hard to sleep.

The hotel is very beautiful. The room is great! I enjoyed the bed as much as shower. Very amusing room. However, I didnt like the breakfast. Due to small room, there was a huge line, waiting to be seated.

The neighbourhood is very nice and the street is quite, good meal.

Nice hotel but internet connection issues at the higher floors. The breakfast was poor. The room was nice and clean.

One of my worst experience in a so called 4* hotel:
- they do not or barely speak English so all communication is not working (e.g. I asked for slippers and they brought me a towel)
- they really struggled to do a correct invoice (4 times) each time writing incorrectly the company and company address
- too much chlor in the swimming pool makes this a real danger for every person's skin
- they did not clean up the room in one of the days
- the lightining system in the room is pretty confusing with main switcher in the sleeping room near the bed so you have to get through all room to switch on when you arrive at night
- the breakfast is poor with low quality products
- the concierge helps no one with the luggage - they just stay in the hotel's entrance doing nothing
- the meeting rooms hasn't sufficient wall plugs and the meeting room names are wrongly spelled (e.g. Bourdeaux instead of Bordeaux)
- the television antenna is not well pluged due to the cabling system they have (who indeed could have been ingenious) so the image is poor

Hotel is good. But be sure to get a good room. The first room we got was crap, dirty, ugly, old furniture, sofa with hole, very worm down, reading light didn’t work. After one night we changed rooms and there was a huge difference. We were happy in new room.
Hotel has a serious problem with the AC on the rooms; they are as noisy as they can be. Like a car engine in your room. They make so much noise you can't sleep with AC on. Noise can be as high as 68 dB in the bathroom were the AC is located and 50 dB in the room. For summer travelers that can be a problem.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The heated pool and gym were clean, good sized and well equipped. There was good eating and shopping in walking distance.

I work for EBay and I am used to American brands, but this is my hotel in Sao Paulo in every stay.
The hotel staff is friendly and they go above and beyond to make you happy. the location is very good
as well, there's a bakery one block from the hotel that offers grab and go lunch and dinner, with fresh
squize juices of all kinds. The internet can get slow once hotel is 100% but these spikes are not
consistent. Very nice hotel , always my home in Sao Paulo.

The carpet had disgusting stains, the microwave didn't work and there were no English-language TV stations. The hotel staff was the only bright spot...they were very pleasant.

We arrived early in the morning (around 8:30am), but the receptionist made great efforts to find us a room as quickly as possible. And we got one around 9:30. The room was large with separate bedroom and sitting areas (with a setee and TV) separated by a double sliding door. Bathroom contained a shower (no bath). The double bed was very comfortable. Good free Wifi enabled us to listen to Internet radio. Carpets were a little grubby, and there was no plug in the bathroom sink. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfasts substantial and cheap (by Sao Paulo prices). The hotel contained a good sized indoor swimming pool and a small gym. Nearby there were many restaurants and shops, and the area around was safe for walking. Very reasonably priced for three nights I would go back again.
