stayed at Hotel Elysa for 3 days on a business trip . Location was great - many restaurants in walking distance and if any one on a vacation , most of interesting places are also close by .. i would recommend this hotel to any one who is looking for mid range hotel . ii would stay here again .

First of all, the location is incredible. It is located on a quiet street just off Boulevard Saint-Michel, right next to the Luxembourg gardens and walking distance to the Seine. The hotel is very clean and is kept in a great condition. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The room size was adequate for a family of 3 and overlooked a beautiful Parisian street. The breakfast had a good variety of food and there was complimentary espresso available in the lobby 24/7! Overall, an excellent place to stay in Paris. Highly recommended!

The room was incredible. comfortable and clean with such a cool view. The staff was super nice and helpful. Spoke French and English. Only had the breakfast once but it was delicious. Nice pastries and bread along with boiled eggs, cold curts, cheese, yogurt, and cereal.

We had a great stay. Very nice area, safe, close to everything we wanted to see, the Luxembourg garden was wonderful, we have a picnic breakfast there, very enjoyable. The hotel room was nice, comfortable bed, great shower, very clean. Nice street views. Hotel employees were friendly. We will be back!

Great location near the Luxembourg Gardens. Expensive for the caliber of hotel, very small room (even by European standards), and lack of amenities, plus some lack of cleanliness and condition of room. The shower had wallpaper in it that had blaxk looking mold seeping through. Perhaps the wallpaper was there hiding a bigger problem? The bathroom was otherwise very clean. There were no shampoo or conditioner, and only a very watered-down shower gel and some soap. There was no laundry bag in the room. There was a very strong scent in rhe room like perfume or a deodorizer. I liked the location but don't think that I would stay here again.

We are so thankful we stayed here. The hotel is in a great location 100 meters from the RER train and a 5-10min walk from the Odeon Metro. So easy to get around. The area is safe, clear and professional. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a wonderful bakery and convenience store just opposite. We bought fresh croissants and baked goods for breakfast every day so did not sample the available breakfast. Our room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The small fridge was perfect. Towels were changed every day we asked for room service even though we left them drying on the towel heater. The shower was powerful and always hot. The interaction we had with the staff was always pleasant. We arrived 30 mins earlier than the check-in time but the room was ready for us. The only improvement needed is the Wi-Fi in our room. Everywhere else it was super fast measuring 323Mbps download in the corridor immediately outside our room door (Speedsmart App). However inside the room the speed dropped off the almost zero by the beds and was 20Mbps near to the door at the desk which was useable but very slow. Our room #104 is a corner room in the building. When I provided this feedback at checkout I learned that Hotel Elsysa had a whole new Wi-FI network installed a few months ago. I'm sure they will look into and fix the anomaly in that particular room. Despite this issue we would come back to stay here and do not hesitate giving the Hotel and staff a sound recommendation.

Ideal Left Bank location next to an RER B station and across from a bus stop, plus being located across from the Luxembourg Gardens, makes this small, refurbished hotel the ideal base for exploring Paris and environs. Welcoming English speaking front desk. Rooms are small by American but not by French standards so accept it and just enjoy. Yet, a few drawbacks such as expensive breakfast, no CNN on HD flat screen TV, and only a tea pot to heat water for the available powdered coffee. At the high prices charged by US standards, a small Nespresso - type machine should be included, but the free bottled water is considerate as is regular maid service and the property is very clean. Being on the corner results in considerable noise although the double - pane windows help, but then all of Paris is noisy. So overlook the issues and just enjoy.

No wi-fi, though the advertisement boasted of having such. Some rooms apparently had it. We complained for 6 straight days. Never received a response -- not once. Front desk attendant #1: "Wi-fi?" Attendant #2: "Wi-fi? It works for me!" Attendant #3: "You should talk to management." Sheets and towels were not changed over 6 days. Housekeeping would refold the dirties but never replace. Thermostat/air conditioning was a joke. Temps were automatically reset on the hour. Desk clerks had no clue as to how to fix. Although pleasant enough, none took effort to actually address or fix the problems that arose. Pretty frustrating. I recommend avoiding this hotel -- problems, problems, problems.

Everything is very good. The only problem is that our room was so small. The people are very friendly and speak excellent English. The breakfasts are very good. One feature is that it is within a 20-minute walk from Notre Dame and Sainte-Chapelle, but it is out of the tourist-heavy areas. It is across the street from the Jardin Luxembourg, which is a very nice park. The RER "B" train station is on the same block as the hotel. One can ride to Notre Dame in about 5 minutes. The RER system connects with the Metro system, so you can go anywhere in the city easily.

I had booked a double bedroom with balcony, but I got there, first the reception person looked like he was shocked to see me. Then he went on to tell me that his boss had left the hotel with a message for me, that they didn’t have a double room with the balcony, they just had a regular room. I was left with no choice but to take the room. I get to the room, the room was hot like a furnace, and when I asked about the air conditioner not working, I was told that they are aware that the air conditioner is not working in the room, but still went ahead and put me in this room. I had to keep my door open, because I felt like was going to die in there. The receptionist said to me, just call Expedia and tell them about your experience here. The place has potential, but customer service is junk, and nothing works.

This hotel was very welcoming and clean! It was located right next to Luxembourg Gardens and central to so many landmarks. It is easy to get around from here because the RER B line is a one minute walk from the hotel. Had a lovely balcony view of the city and would definitely stay here again!

This property was a great stay. We were in Paris from 9 days coming from the USA. It's in a great walkable location to the Latin Quarter, The Catacombs, Notre Dame, and even The Louvre. There is also very close access to the subway station. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that is very typical for Paris. This was my 3rd time there and I enjoyed this location the most. However one nice thing, is the bed was on the larger side unlike most other rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here again or to anyone traveling to Paris for the first time.

Lovely hotel in great location, polite reception staff, clean room and bathroom, great bedding. My room was like a jewelry box with raspberry velvet walls and the bathroom had red tiles decorated with artsy flowers. Safe place to return to at the end of the day. The Cluny museum of Middle Ages nearby was a highlight of my stay.

We enjoyed a nice, week-long stay here. It was a perfect location for us right by the Jardin du Luxembourg and a short walk over to the Panthéon but was tucked a little away from the busier areas more frequented by tourists. Hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. We would stay here again.

Delightful little hotel, conveniently situated just off the Boulevard St Michel, a few minutes from the Luxembourg RER stop and the lovely Jardin du Luxembourg. Very comfortable beds, welcoming staff, all very pleasant. Throughly enjoyed our stay.
