Nice and spacy room and a good selection at the breakfast buffet. A little noisy from the traffic at the cobble stone in the street. But not much traffic during the night.

All in all, it was a nice stay. The property is quite modern and cute. What we did not like is the crazy loud noise whenever a door was closed and the coughing around of many guests.

Perfect location on town square close to all sights. Hotel room was large and comfortable. Parking was easy on the square. Restaurant was excellent.

The hotel is well maintained and very clean, but could use a little updating. Specifically, there are no outlets readily available by the bedside, at least in the room I was in, where I could charge my phone. Also, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty when we arrived, and we had to ask to have it refilled the next day.

In the middle of a town full of history. Modern hotel with all that is needed. Service very good (including a birthday present). Staff very helpful with our parking problem (Hotel parking full). Marked place with ample restaurants.

Located in the central town square, this hotel is very well serviced. The rooms are about the usual Steigenberger standard, the breakfast has ample choice but the serving area is very cramped and can be dangerously overcrowded with people. The staff are very friendly and helpful at the desk, the restaurant and bar. The room and bathroom was very clean. Only negative was that there was no air-conditioning at all, which in a hot summer was quite oppressive.

This hotel is average for a 4 stars hotel. It is well situated. The service is ok but not fabulous. Breakfast is good with a nice spread. However there was no warning that it is eco-fanatic. I am all for sustainability when it makes sense. I have grown used to the small notices telling you that you destroy the environment if you want a clean towel - even though cleaning a towel uses less detergent/soap than washing your hands and all sewage in Germany is thoroughly cleaned before being let loose on the environment. This hotel has a new twist. You get a 5€ credit if you abstain from having your room cleaned, beds made etc. I find such an offer annoying and offensive. I do not want to have a bad conscience imposed upon me for having a normal hotel-service with negligable environmental impact. If I want to save 5€ for bad or lacking service, I will book a room in a 2 stars hotel, a studio or an appartment. The only purpose for this attempt to shame the customers seems to be saving money. Shame on you!!

We had once again a very pleasant stay at this hotel and enjoyed three relaxing days in Wismar. Our room was with a view to the historic market square (very recommendable to book it), so we could enjoy the wonderful "Schwedenfest" and all performances / concerts from a top place. Breakfast buffet with a huge choice of warm and cold dishes, very friendly staff, always great to return!

Great location in centre of Wismar and only 10 mins walk from the station. Welcoming staff. Comfortable room, good breakfast. Wifi complicated to use but worked OK.

We stayed one night and were well looked after. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Gluten Free meals were available. Street parking could be found directly outside hotel. Location of hotel was perfect for a sightseeing city stroll. We highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location: Locates in the heart of the city by the local market place. Excellent breakfast, although some waiters (trainees) were all too eager to serve me by taking my cups and plates away in a situation when I was still eating and drinking :) Reception worked perfectly. Restaurant was excellent: Prices were reasonable and dinners were awesome ! Only negative issue were the sizes of the rooms: Those are quite small. Internet worked perfectly.

Stayed here for two nights while traveling on business - this was my first time to Wismar. Highly recommend staying at this hotel, centrally located. Staff and service was outstanding. Room was large and very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and dining for lunch and dinner in the restaurant was great. Will stay here again.

The hotel was sparkling clean, very formal and comfortable (I am from the USA). It is in the center of Wizmar square with beautiful cobble stone streets. The hotel could not be in a more convenient location! There is a TV in the lobby where guests were watching football together in cocktail attire. This is a great hotel and town, I wish we had spent more than one day here.
