The elevator to the beach did not work, which was a major hassle when coming back to my room from the beach. Travelers should know that the only way to go up to their room from the beach is when the beach elevator doesn’t work, is 10 floors of stairs up the hill, to the internal elevator for the rooms.
The view was beautiful though, the service was excellent, and the room very clean although the wear and tear on the decorative pillow with missing embroidery made it feel dated. Also, I am guessing that the cleaning personnel don’t really think about reorganizing the furniture in a thoughtful manner after they clean. The chairs and table were just pushed together against the wall, the same was true with the chairs in the balcony. This is not a big deal, just something that I think makes the room feel more dated. Otherwise, it was very clean and the structure and furniture themselves were not too outdated.
As mentioned, the elevator that takes people down to the beach was not working. That was fine when going down, but heading up the equivalent to 10 floors of stairs was not fun, and I am in pretty good shape.

rooms where not as clean as we would have liked. air conditioning was horrible.
and also front desk never mentioned to us that we could not use our room to charge anywhere on property. We where very embarrassed to go to pool and have few drinks and have to rely on someone else to pay for us because we didnt have our credit card with us.

The hotel is isolated and need maintenance and refurbishment

The hotel was very big and a little outdated. We had 2 rooms and were Expedia VIP but didn't receive any upgrades or benefits. The all-inclusive dining was a total waste of money. Dining options are limited as some of the specialty restaurants cater to adults only. We needed to keep track of what is included and what was not. The buffet is very average. For breakfast, the line to get an omelette was out the door. My suggestion is take a taxi ($10-20) to Zihua and eat out.
The pool is big but very dirty. It's not just leaves on top of the pool, the water is so murky, you can't see the bottom of the pool.
The guest rooms are spacious and they all face the ocean. One of our rooms had ants and the toilet was clogged multiple times.
Our trip was for 4 nights, we moved to a different hotel after day 3.

It’s a beautiful hotel but it’s very big, you have to walk a lot to get from point A to point B. It’s not wheelchair accessible but it’s very nice

We had a fantastic stay! The beach club on the 20th floor was a highlight, with breathtaking views and two incredibly attentive servers who made the experience memorable. The lobby bar offered great service, especially thanks to Don Julio, who made our experience special. We spent a week here celebrating my grandmother’s 87th birthday, and she loved the beautiful scenery. She was able to navigate easily and even enjoyed taking the stairs. The private beach was stunning and serene, offering a perfect spot to relax. Our rooms were comfortable and had a lovely view, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return in October to celebrate my nephew’s 10th birthday! All our family is excited just from the pictures we sent.

A great place to have a relaxing beach vacation. Beautiful views from room. Nice patio for morning coffee. The two a la carte restaurants have good food.
4.3
The ocean views were a huge plus for this hotel. Every room has an ocean view. It was quiet and off the beaten path which we enjoyed. The staff was super friendly.
4.3
Good experience, but the hotel is really old, it urgently needs an upgrade

Beautiful hotel . But lacks night entertainment and drinks lack alcohol

This is the 5th time we come to Las Brisas and we only come because we LOVE the service the waitress give you. They are all amazing! If they don’t have something on the menu, they will try to bring something similar to you. David at the beach was amazing serving us all and was on top of everything. Same with Manuel at the lobby and everyone at the Mexicano restaurant.
I have a 3 star because of several reasons:
1. the quality of food and drinks has been dropping compare to previous times we have been here.
2. We usually buy all inclusive and all though it includes most of the food and drinks, there is still a lot that is not covered.
3. During our check in, we have access to certain restaurants depending on your amount of days you stay. We usually love the menu at el Mexicano so we tried to make our reservation. They told us that we did not need a reservation because they were going to have a festival “El festival del mole and mezcal.” We then went ahead and attended the restaurant but the hostess mentioned the festival was extra and was not included in our package and at a different restaurant. We were disappointed about this because we were lied about it from the reservation staff and we did not even enjoyed what the Mexicano A la Carte offers because it ended up being a buffet.
4. Lbnl, Saturday, there was a huge group of the Cámara de Senadores and their families and there were a lot of inconsistencies happening around that I cannot enlist all,I ran out of characters

Very beautiful, very clean but ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH paying so much for the all inclusive package. The only options to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner were the awful buffets. None of the a la cart restaurants were open, not even one, even though the guy at the front desk said they were when he sold the upgrade. The beach “snack bar” was supposed to stay open until 8 for concession grade food and drinks and they closed at 6. The food was a 1 out of 10 on the beach and the buffets were short of foul. They served the same potatoes for lunch, dinner and breakfast. My reservations were incorrect. I rented two rooms and had to show proof because they somehow only had me down for one although I paid fully in advance. I upgraded all guests upon check in and in the middle of eating lunch we were interrupted by a worker telling us we were given the wrong color bracelet and would need to take them off and pay for our entry to the buffet. Luckily I had my purse on me and showed proof of the upgrade. All around not worth the all inclusive or the super expensive, resort type of price. Sorry, super clean and super beautiful but super sucky.

the staff at the hotel are A Plus Plus its a beautiful hotel and beach but the staff at the beach, restaurants and bars makes the experience fabulous

We came to Ixtapa to visit family and stayed here at Las Brisas for two nights. Night one was exceptional service from the staff, we ended up needed to book a second room and Jairo was phenomenal in attending us and making sure we were able to book the adjoining room to our original. We had booked the breakfast package and the rooms came with a complimentary water bottle and slippers. The breakfast buffet was amazing, lots of variety and great service from the staff. Night two was a completely different story. Upon arriving to the hotel in our family's vehicle, the parking attendant questioned if we were guests at the hotel. Something they did not ask the night before despite arriving in the same vehicle. We found this odd and upon
arriving to the top to the entrance the attendant was speaking about us on his radio and continued to stare. This made us extremely uncomfortable. My husband brought this to the attention of the staff, however, there was no manager available. Upon arriving to the room, we were greeted with a giant cockroach on the wall. My husband killed it and took a picture and we also brought this to the attention of the staff. They quickly changed us rooms and let us know they would fumigate the room. The next day we greatly enjoyed the breakfast buffet once again with different offerings and breathing views. 3/5 for cleanliness and experience but 5/5 to Jairo specifically for being the most professional staff member we encountered and for all his help.

I had trouble opening my sliding glass door, and it took 2 maintenance visits to get that resolved. Shower floor drain was clogged, and dealing with the drain and wet floor also took 2 visits.
4.3
The hotel is a little dated, especially the pool area. The food is average. But if you're not looking for anything super fancy, this is a very comfortable place to stay at, breathtaking views and the staff are wonderful. Definitely upgrade to the all-inclusive package. All the drinks and meals add up quickly.

Good and Quiet

The taxi cab drivers need to learn where the restaurants are located. That is their fricking job. How hard could that be. Don't drop us off on the wrong side of the bridge and say El Pescador is down the pedestrian walkway, when it is nowhere close. Also, know when restaurants are closed for the slow season. Where is their Chamber of Commerce?
4.3
The Property is absolutely gorgeous the room is quiet and comfortable the beach is stunning the restaurant food is delicious but what makes this hotel so amazing is the staff, friendly, helpful, always greeted with a smile and there to help you have the best vacation ever.

This was my first time at this resort, my friends have been going here for about 20 years. The staff was amazing, the property was beautiful, I do recommend the breakfast package it was so worth it! The rooms are aging a bit but very clean! I got an amazing hour massage. Cannot wait to return. I also was traveling alone and never felt unsafe at any point of this trip.
4.3
The Private beach and VIP rooms are superb.
BAD - The food and drinks in the beach bar need to be better.
4.3
The only bug in the ointment was no clock of any kind in the room even after requesting one
4.3
We love Las Brisas for many reasons. The view, the beach and the friendliness of the staff make this hotel a relaxing beach vacation. This was my 6th stay and have booked for next year again. My husband always has a massage at the spa which he enjoys immensely. This year we opted to have breakfast included each day. The breakfast buffet has different options each day, a make to order omelet bar also.
You just can’t go wrong with the private beach Las Brisa’s has. The service at the beach is amazing. Many options close by for swimming at different beaches in the area as this beach always has a red flag up. But there are beautiful pools to swim in, including an adult only pool which is quite relaxing with the waterfall feature.
Easy to walk into Ixtapa for dinner or take a taxi to Zihuatanejo for activities and dinner too.

Great hotel!

I love the architecture. The staff got mad that I brought I pizza inside the hotel because they serve food, but I could not eat the food it was not appetizing. Only thing I liked was the pozole estilo guerrero.
