Beautiful, scenic area and we couldn’t be happier with the Arabella! Our room was good sized and clean and we received a lovely welcome gift upon arrival. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We also loved the breakfast and restaurant options! Great food and lots of choices. I do wish there were more options of red wines by the glass though. The views of the lake around the hotel are amazing, highly recommend the walk around the lake. There’s also a great pool and spa area.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and will definitely come back.

Nice hotel, friendly staff
My only complain was that there was a terrible bad smell coming from the drainage of the shower.

Hotel was great, got a brand-new room. It's proximity to the lake was great. Only thing they could improve is to widen the range of room service menue as it was a bit too small. Other than that, great hotel.

Hotel is beautifully located. However, housekeeping was hit and miss, with soap and other essentials not being replaced. Most annoying was the extremely low water pressure for our shower. Barely more than a trickle at any time of the day and not in line with our previous stays. Breakfast selection still ok, but much reduced from our prior stays also.

We made booking the previous evening via hotels.com but the hotel had not received it when we arrived (they had to call in to hotels.com and found it the next day). Despite this not being the hotel's fault, they were very welcoming and found a room for us even though it was clear they were pretty full. The location is stunning. Great breakfast. Really pleasant stay.

We happened upon this place due to over bookings in the area. Great things happen to those who wait. What a beautiful gem we found. Basically an all inclusive with breakfast, dinners and a wonderful spa experience all on-site. Very conveniently located to many of the towns we wanted to visit. We would return and stay put in their small, quaint town. A wonderful holiday trip!

Hotel is modest but clean and beautifully situated on the lake. There's a private lakefront area for hotel guests, and it seemed as though some items were available to borrow (i.e. inflatable rafts, umbrellas, chairs, etc) but no one staffing the area and unclear how to procure them. Hotel has very limited parking - had to park in a public lot nearby and walk. Service was friendly but not exceptional. Room lacked bathtub and central air (probably not necessary for most of the year, but we had a heat wave, so it mattered). Breakfast was awesome and included with the room... outdoor dining area with lake views was exceptional.

Breakfast was fine and the room was spacy but had no air condition and WiFi did not work. On the other hand they did succeed to turn off the towel heater which made thinks even worse. Amenities were scarce and we had to ask specifically to clean the room. This is definetly not a 4 star hotel and far below Sheraton standard. I would not come back again.

The check in staff was very pleasant, and was able to accomdate our request for adjoining rooms facing the lake. The room size was very adequate for european hotes, and the furnishings were not so cookie cutter in each room that it had a sterile feeling to it. Each room was slightly different, and had been well prepared and cleaned before, and during our visit. The front desk staff speaks very good english considering it is somewhat off the beaten path, although still close driving distance to Munich. The town of Spitzingee was cool, little ski area, great paths around lake and very close to the entire area, so if you like to hike this is an awesome place. The breakfast buffet in hotel is not outstanding, but also not mediocre, it does the trick with good quality food and pleasant staff. The bar at night was not full at all, except on a few nights of the world cup. In the summer time, if no evetns like world cup you will need to go into town for excitement or interacting with larger groups of people. Gym and pool are both very nice, well maintained, no issues or complaints. Also has some nice sauna areas, once again clean and well maintained. Parking underneath costs 10E a day if i recall, but if you are creative you can find free parking outside of building and close to hotel. In wintertime spend the money for the underground parking! Plan a day trip down to Innsbruck, or many of the castles in surrounding area.
