Very close to pier and fisherman wharf. Beds comfortable. Pillows to flat. Also parking 75 a night. We park some where else for 35 a day.

Great lobby! It was a breakfast room in the morning. Then throughout the day we saw people using it for snacking, hanging out, waiting for their rides. We enjoying relaxing there while waiting to catch the streetcar for our train connection. Check in desk was very helpful in giving us options for dinner.

The property was in a good location for what we needed. It was good access to Fisherman's Wharf and the waterfront activities with not a lot of walking. The hotel itself was pretty clean and orderly even though they were very busy. Our room was small, but clean and orderly. We had good service from the hotel staff.

Highly recommend. Service was great and staff was very helpful. Valet was great too. Super fast and very nice. Had room with bay view of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. In a great spot too. Not a far walk from everything.

Can’t go wrong with Holiday Inn Express. Front desk staff were suburb and went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Only issue was the AC was loud, but we got used to it.

Great location for walking around Fisherman's Wharf. Be prepared for additional cost. .if driving prepay for parking when reserving, otherwise the posted parking rate is $75 a night . .plus they charge a $25 fee for amenities, not included in the Hotels com charges!

We enjoyed our stay here. We were able to walk easily to Pier 39 and even enjoyed walking for exercise up the steep streets to Lombard Street.

We had a blast. Their Concierge hooked us up with public transportation, And fun affordable stuff to do. It is walkable to pier 39 and fishermans wharf.

This hotel adds $75 to the bill ($50 of which is for incidentals and is refundable if note used). However, $25 is for facilities and some other type of additional charges which is not refundable. Terrible practice that many hotels use to jack up the price. Very disappointing. Just include these charges in the price quoted so customers can make fair comparisons.

Overall it was a nice stay. The hotel is in very close proximity to the wharf. The only negative things were that the water pressure in our room was terrible and there were rust stains in our tub.

Good clean hotel, love the coffee and tea available 24/7. 65 dollars a night for parking is crazy plus tax, no need for that excessive amount for people that are already spending hundreds at your hotel. Outside the hotel are a bunch of homeless people but nothing the hotel can do about it. Small rooms but everything you need.

The hotel was great from checking in to digital check out. Lawrence at the front desk was so friendly and an amazing amount of information regarding dining and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed four nights and was very happy with this property. Very clean, well located for tourist activities and a decent breakfast The pancake machines were both broken for my entire stay (4 nights) with a note saying it would be fixed soon (they must need a very skilled and hard to engage engineer to repair it). There’s also a lift out of service so there is a bit of a wait at times. As in almost all accommodation I have stayed in USA, the aircon is incredibly loud and staff could be a more friendly. (Service received was fine, more about demeanour)
My only complaint would be the lack of soundproofing. I could hear the coming and going of every one in the corridor. Late at night it was very annoying.

WE CAME FOR TWO NIGHTS AND ACTUALLY THREE FULL DAYS THANKS TO THE DESK HOLDING OUR LUGGAGE WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED AND HOLDING OUR LUGGAGE UNTIL 6 O'CLOCK THE DAY WE LEFT.
THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT INCLUDING HOT AND COLD CEREAL, EGGS, PANCAKES, FRUITS, ETC. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND THE ROOM VERY CLEAN. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT THERE WERE ONLY TWO ELEVATORS AND ONE WAS BROKEN ON OUR VISIT NECESSITATIN LONG WAITS.

Was very pleasant. They stored our luggage while we went sightseeing then helped us get it to our room. They called a taxi for us to leave very early in the morning for our flight. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We specifically booked this hotel because the description stated they had a laundry and we needed to wash clothes. When we arrived we were told there wasn’t a guest laundry, but a laundry service was available. Ashley at reception did ring another hotel to see if we could use their guest laundry, but unfortunately not. We did appreciate her trying for us. She also followed up with her manager to advise they needed to correct the description on Wotif. The description still hasn’t been amended. This is misleading to travellers. Also breakfast is the same thing every day. Not much variety. Tables are hard to get and nobody is clearing and wiping them down between guests. Very poor service. Don’t bother asking for help if you can find anyone, they aren’t interested in anything else but bringing food out. Rooms were well designed and very clean. In house tour desk was convenient too.
