One night weekend with son. Hotel clean bright and warm and staff nice. Breakfast was good.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, warm, great shower, fantastic views from sea view rooms. Super service. Hard to fault.

Nice hotel, standard breakfast. Lovely view and near to town and harbour.

What was good - central location, great breakfast, friendly staff, comfy bed, shower pressure
What needed improved - bathroom needed replaced, bigger bath towels, door to bathroom kept sticking on floor and door to bedroom only shut if you banged it closed.

For what I paid for the night was okay. Had I of paid more I wouldn't have been happy. The bathroom had mould and looked grubby around the bath, taps and tiles. They need either replaced or given a good scrub..I had a bath and couldn't get the hot tap to turn off. Eventually after alot of effort I finally got it off before it started to over flow. The TV is just basic and mine had a blue lie running down the side of it which was very annoying trying to watch the channels. I think this day and age a Smart TV wouldn't be an expensive thing to buy. The room itself was clean and bedding very fresh.

Room was comfortable, good bed. Walls must be thin as we could hear couple in adjacent room talking until 2am and then woken twice later by sound of snoring! Breakfast was excellent and staff at breakfast were efficient and pleasant.

The hotel is very old so I didn't expect it to be in pristine condition but it wasn't the cleanest, there was a crack in the sink and the window in our room had been left open so there was a lot of flies both dead and alive in the room. It was still an alright place to stay but I will say, I'm very pleased with the detail to food allergens, we were both gluten free and for breakfast the next morning the staff detailed everything we could have and they even had separate unltensils for handling the food, they even had a selection of GF toast, cereals and sausages! Amazingly done, best that I have been to! They view outside to the sea was incredible as well.

Overnight stay. Hotel very run down, torn seats in restaurants, rooms very basic and stains on carpets. Location is the only positive. Hotel needs a massive upgrade.

The hotel is older and has a few small issues with toilets, lighting, furniture, etc, but is in a great area convenient to restaurants, pubs, and the beach. Staff was courteous and helpful and I was very satisfied with our stay overall. If you go, check out the Springhill pub on Thursday night for awesome Irish music! And tell Johnny his American friends say hi!

Very old hotel that needs an upgrade. Not worth the cost per night. Immensely limited amenities at this hotel. Staff were very Freindly though.

Just about average hotel.
Staff were great but £230 for a night and not even a bottle of water in the room, not good enough

The property is a bit tired. Parking wasn’t convenient

Just an overnight before going to Giant’s Causeway. Very helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was not fantastic. Room was pretty bleak and uncomfortable.

Lovely stay, hotel very clean and staff friendly. Restaurant closed for evening meal with refurbish but this is temporary and overall really enjoyed our stay.

It was an older building with the best staff. Would for sure stay again.

The hotel maybe a little older but it was clean and centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was extremely smooth thanks to the professional staff. Thanks to Marta and Anna for the cleanliness of our room. Hygiene is so important at this time.

Great location! Basic room as expected but the carpet had stains and the bin was broken along with some other things. Room heated up quickly. Very central. The bar and restaurant downstairs were empty both nights. There was live music on the Saturday night but wasn’t advertised anywhere.

Bar area was really the same area as the breakfast buffet. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful,

Our stay went well after finally finding the hotel. The picture in the ad is extremely misleading. The Atlantic Hotel is in the middle of a busy street and we had to call the desk about parking as none was available on the street. Parking lot is through an alley behind the building. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant dinner was very good!

As this hotel has been sold I can understand why it's I'm a aged worn out state through out. Our room was good, clean and bed very comfortable. Extractor fan not working in the toilet so after shower it's like a steam sauna and can see nothing in the mirror.
Breakfast was ok, cheap at £13 for two.
Might be back after it's renovated.
Bar prices expensive.

A modern hotel in the town centre, pleasant to stay in. The on-street parking outside is free except in July and August. It made a good stop-off for us coming from a Donegal holiday and wanting to be nearer to Larne for the ferry next day.

Comfortable and convenient. Will come again.

Staff was very helpful. The hotel itself needs some updating. Rooms were roomy. Parking is minimal, about 10 spaces in front and about 10 behind the building.
Breakfast was minimal and standard for UK. Great location though.

Very good stay, parking although available was very limited. Had been led to believe that there was more availability when I telephoned prior to booking. However ample car park spaces not too far away

Cleaning of the rooms could be better a lot of hairs on the bathroom room floor. And maybe bottle of water for guests.chairs in room need upholstered as there were rips .
Beds comfortable a plus *

Portrush Atlantic Hotel is a expensive, overpriced hotel.
The hotel appears worn and with poor maintenance. The service was polite but not service minded. The breakfast was simple, and with very little choice. The price for the room was almost double what we paid for similar rooms in Belfast and Derry.
In summary: Save your money and stay at another hotel instead.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Atlantic Hotel. We managed to park in the Hotel car park on 2 days of our 3 day stay and we parked free from 5pm until 11am outside the Hotel on the other day. Our bedroom was freshly decorated and the sea view was unrivalled. Breakfast and dinner was great and the staff couldn’t have been be more helpful. All in all, a wonderful break.

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfasts and nice views from dining room. Plenty of hot water. Extra pillows. Could have done with a thinner duvet. It was July and the duvets were 13.5 tog. Bit hot for summer.
All in all, very good. Would definitely stay again.

While the staff is great, the hotel is very dared and worn around the edges. Our first night the toilet leaked when flushed. While it was fixed the next day, it emphasized the state of the hotel. Huge black stain on the carpet in the room was very unappealing. We asked for a fan, as the room was stuffy and the windows only opened about 4 inches. We were given the last fan they had (or so they said) which my husband had to jury rig to work. Not worth the money.
2.0
I will not be returning to this hotel. Price I paid was totally over the top. Radiator in our room was noisy and woke us up at 05:30. Shower screen was totally inadequate which left water over the floor. Hairdryer would only work for 15 to 30 seconds before cutting out. The rooms were very tired looking and furniture was not comfortable. I do not mind paying top prices for a hotel room if I get good quality in return but in this case it was a big let down.
