Historic hotel in the heart of Boulder City. Hotel's history includes Howard Hughes stay post experimental aircraft crash in Lake Mead 1943.

Fourth visit here. Very quaint. Left a pillow two weeks ago and they still had it in lost and found.

Lovely historic hotel in Boulder City. Located in the historic district and close to many shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. I will stay there again on my next trip to the area.

Very charming old hotel. Tiny bathroom and very thin walls, i could here a man on the phone next door very clearly as if in my room. But luckily it was quiet at night anyway. Room was not decorated at all. But the hotel is charming overall

My wife, daughter and I stayed for one night, visiting Hoover Dam. The hotel was unexpectedly lovely. It has a welcoming and historic vibe, yet the rooms were up to date and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. You should definitely stay at this hotel.

Love this hotel!
Staff was amazing

Wonderful experience staying at a historic place. It was a perfect compliment to our visit to Hoover Dam, especially the impressive and informative museum within the hotel that further gives historical narratives of both Hoover Dam and Boulder City. Because of the character and historical significance of the hotel, some amenities were sacrifices compared to modern hotels, but the character of hotel more than made up for it. We had the larger room suite which we enjoyed which also included a frig and MW. I’m not sure we would have enjoyed the smaller standard rooms, though.

This property is a beautiful piece of history. We stayed in one of the suites. It was a good size. The staff is very nice. The town around it is cute and you can walk to lots of dining options. It has the “old town” charm. We love it!

While this property was old, it met our needs & it is a historic building. We would have liked luggage racks & definitely a bigger bathroom. It was TINY!! However , we forgot our cooler in our room & as soon as I realized it I called & left a message. They had it waiting at the front desk. Staff could not have been better!

This is hotel everybody should visit, it is unique with it architecture & history.
It also has a big advantage that it is only 15 minutes from Las Vegas,it has its own cafe culture & it has no resort fees.

Very nice older style hotel. The bed was firm, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Only one comfortable chair in the room. Fortunately we found a small seating area around the corner from our room. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The ceiling fan didn’t work but we made do. Good location. Overall very nice stay.

Was extremely small... bathtub was old and dirty. Not at all like the photos.. The little museum was great though and was the redeeming quality.

A quiet historic hotel. It is not the most luxurious hotel but it is quiet, clean, conveniently located near Hoover dam.
The restaurant downstairs where you can get breakfast is comfortable and the food is pretty good for breakfast.
unfortunately, breakfast was not included in the price we got.
There are a few dining options in the city, but most of them close at 9 PM with the exception of it pretty nice restaurant across the street from the hotel, which is very comfortable, the food is good, and the prices are decent.
I believe that driving the 30 minute distance to Las Vegas is worth it so at the end of the day you get out of the craziness and noise of downtown Las Vegas.
The good thing about the hotel’s location is the fact that you can take day trips to several really beautiful locations, including the Grand Canyon.
There is a bar/lounge downstairs in the hotel, but it only operates on the weekends.
Overall a good experience.
