The hot tub was dark and dirty looking ..not good lighting

Horrible experience. My son has several bites. I have called Super 8 3 times so far. Still waiting for the manager to return a call. It's pretty obvious they know they have a problem.

This was a super clean, comfortable place to spend the night. Front desk was very good about giving me a ground floor room.

The room was dirty. Stains every where. The tub leaked all over the floor. And there was mold all over the ceiling over the shower

This was my very first stay in Sioux Falls. First, make sure you get the directions correctly! It took me to some other location because I didn't use the EAST part of the address. Once I arrived, it was a mess of construction, but that wasn't the hotel's fault and it was done (and nice) by the time I checked out.
I opened the door to my room and it STUNK. I quickly realized that an old ragged recliner was part of the problem and covered it with a sheet. The next day, hotel management was very accommodating and replaced the chair with a nicer one. Some candles and disinfectant on the carpet and problem solved. For me, it's not expecting there to never be issues/problems, but it's how those are addressed.
Indoor pool was okay, but the jacuzzi was awesome!
The only knock was a rush to close up breakfast early. One morning at 9:25 (it closes at 9:30) a guy was trying to make waffles and they'd already shut off the waffle maker. Great place for the price.

Room was clean and bed comfy but on the south end so the street traffic noise was HORRIBLE! Made sleeping nearly impossible and sadly for this reason we will probably not stay again.....too bad.

I’ve stayed in my fair share of Super 8’s over the years, some great and some complete duds. This was a dud. I don’t expect it to be a Hilton Garden Inn, but I don’t expect to feel gross staying in a hotel I paid over 200 for 2 nights for either.
Here were my main takeaways:
Other reviews talk about parking. This super 8 shares a parking lot with a very sketchy extended stay studio apartment set up. So if you get there past 7 pm, expect to either park in the dark dingy area or create your own spot. Like I said, the extended stay is sketchy, the entire parking lot was sketchy at dark.
The traffic noise is pretty noticeable. I was able to sleep despite it, but for sensitive sleepers beware.
The feeling gross part came from the stained and cigarette hole burned sheet like cover they had in place of a comforter and the bathroom. The bathroom reeked of pee. The toilet seemed clean, but the floors must’ve had dried urine just soaked into it. You could smell it outside the bathroom.
Oh and everything in the bathroom was slanted. The toilet had a lean to it. My left butt cheek was higher than my right when I’d pee. The faucet to the shower was poorly caulked to the wall of the shower. It was a small bathroom but that would have been fine if it wasn’t like a Porto potty.
Our room was next to the elevator. The elevator was loud and when the doors to it would shut it sounded like someone was slamming the door.
All in all won’t be here again. At least there were no bed bugs.

Customer service was great, and room was super clean, but I got almost 0 sleep. I had a room within 30 feet of the front desk, which resulted in lots of sound from late check-ins, the work phone ringing during night, early check-outs, and breakfast dining room commotion. I was so tired from lack of sleep, I didn’t have an opportunity to use the shower before check out, & had to skip the brunch place I wanted to try out, and had an 8.5 hr drive ahead of me for the day, which was significantly harder due to lack of sleep. Also, location is currently next to a very busy construction- filled road. Continuously woke up to engines revving throughout the night by the traffic light as well (obviously not the hotel’s fault), but an easy fix would be for this location to offer free ear plugs for now, or alert people on their website they are (currently) in a noisy area of town, room may have thin walls/ be in an inconvenient spot in building close to all of the commotion, so guests may may want to bring headphones or earplugs to drown out sound. Also, anyone staying more than 1 day probably wouldn’t be able to sleep in, due to construction sounds & potential drills during daytime hours.
TLDR: bring ear plugs if light sleeper- noisy property.

It was a very pleasant stay. When I got there they did not have a room like they promised me, so they upgraded me to a much better room
Better for my dad to move around with the walker

What I Expected

There was no parking available since numerous "over-landers" took up 3 spaces a piece. There were dirty towels laying all around the pool. & the bathroom (at the pool) had no toilet paper. The breakfast was in short supply of everything.

The booking through hotels.com did not say that the room for one person was only available on the first floor and only on the highway side. I would’ve chosen neither of those and would not have stayed at this hotel. That said, the front desk gentleman was very kind, my room was neat and tidy and clean, and my car was safe through the night, so I’m glad for that. The hotel and the rooms are a little ancient and could use a little updating.

Not the best neighborhood, not the newest building, but they keep it clean and fresh. 2 hot options and 3-4 other options for breakfast, that were clean and well stocked. Didn’t use the pool but it also looked well maintained. Great example of making the most of what you have to work with! Well done!

I was there 2 nights. Breakfast did not change - Biscuit & gravy or waffles for hot items. I was on the 3rd floor and the water in the sink and tub drained very slowly. Staff was fine.

This hotel was pretty dirty. Check-in was fine but when we got to the room it smelled like someone had been smoking marijuana in it despite being listed as a non-smoking room. I went to the front desk and the girl said she could move us but wanted to check the room herself. She then moved us to another room. That room was in need of some updates and to have a good deep cleaning. There was dirt in all corners of the room and bathroom. There was rust in the bathtub from the fixtures. The AC was loud and it got warm in the room overnight so it wasn't working well either. The hallways were just as dirty as the room! I will not stay at this hotel or ever recommend it to anyone!

For a Wyndham property the bathrooms very small. Plaster falling off ceiling. Mold on the wall by the tub with a hole. Felt unsafe in the area. Parking lot very small and hard to get into

This was a very nice hotel. The front clerk was very friendly. A maintenance man kept interrupting her as she was trying to check us in. She apologized for the interruption . The breakfast had plenty of choices for all ages. Two issues: after we were in our room and unpacked a couple unlocked our room
They were assigned to our room too. Both of our keys worked. Desk clerk figured it out without moving us. Pretty sure rude maintenance guy distracted her at checkin. Second, we requested adjoining room and didn't get them. Why request something if rooms are assigned at checkin? We did get floor we requested.
