Our room was freezing cold when we got there. The doors to the outside entrance of the hotel do not get locked at any time. It was windy and in the 20's when we arrived. The carpet is nasty and did not look like it had been cleaned or vacuumed. The bathtub/shower had hair in it and barely any water pressure. The free breakfast consisted of cereal, toast or your choice of an apple or orange. No juice or milk. There was nobody at the front counter when needed. Vending machines were a $1.50 for a single CAN of soda. Will not stay here ever again.

We stayed at the Yankton Inn for a national archery tournament. The hotel is quick walking distance from the archery range and field range which is super convenient. The staff were all very nice and polite. We were there for almost a week so if we needed forks or new towels, they accommodated us quickly.
Downside… mold in the AC unit. I read a review previously that also stated that there was mold in their AC unit as well… but I assumed that they maybe would fix it since it was a negative review. Lo and behold… ours had mold. Visibly growing on the plastic filter (that wasn’t actually a filter). I let the front desk guy know and he said he would pass it on to his manager. I had photos to show him also but no response from anyone from the hotel regarding the mold.
So I took matters in to my own hands as I was stuck there for almost a week. I popped the cover off and cleaned it with vinegar… which hind sight being what it is… it left a vinegar smell in the room for the remainder of our stay but it was better than smelling and breathing in mold. The amount of black mold I got cleaned off was astonishing. No one should have to breathe that in when paying nearly 100$ for the room. It’s unhealthy and unsafe. So I called the health department. They let me know they’re due for an inspection anyway so they’ll be sure to look at the AC units.
I don’t want them to get shut down but that’s just unacceptable. Especially in 90°+ heat and you’re forced to use the AC continually.

Most properties like this are not well cleaned in the bathrooms. The corners and the bottom of the walls are usually gross and need additional cleaning and a little paint on the walls. Towels are so small they don't even go around you. Small area for Breakfast and not a lot for a Hot Breakfast.

This property is located almost out of town on the edge. The room was comfortable and inexpensive, but the 2nd floor hall smelled like weed which permiated into the rest of the rooms. The breakfast isn't anything special, but they do have one. The staff was kind and helpful. This is a good economical stay.

It was a fine hotel for the price. The staff seem very nice, I woke up late and they had no problem with me checking out late. I would stay there again if I had any reason to go back to Yankton South Dakota.

Very nice and clean hotel. Super friendly staff, especially the gentleman in the morning. I think he was the owner but nonetheless very polite and talk to me for a few minutes. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and clean restroom. Definitely will stay here again when we visit Yankton again!

Our room (202) was clean with new carpets. The bathroom was decent. The shower worked great with good strong water pressure. The bathtubc stopper wouldn't plug the tub so I was unable to take a bath. There is no elevator, but it shows that on the hotel website. The air conditioning worked extremely well in the room. The room faced the front of the hotel and the road, which was fine since we didn’t hear much traffic noise. The two queen beds were comfortable and clean. It was a good stay. I would stay here again.

What used to be a decent little inn has become run down. Room stank of mustiness, mini fridge smelled of rotten meat. No elevator. The bed had metal 'pop' sound when you laid down or got up. Thin walls. But the room artwork was beautiful.

They tried to charge us extra for our two teenagers even though they were on the reservation. We had to go buy extra pillows for our beds. Rooms and hallways aren’t thoroughly cleaned. Front desk staff could definitely be more welcoming.

Paid for the stay (as I would've been charged via Travelocity cancel time), I then went to work only to find out that the tournament I was to work that weekend had been cancelled. Staff was nice enough. The facility looked ok, but I did not even enter the room. I turned in my key and we drove home. Most items have 3 stars from me only because I have no basis for review.

Dirty, holes in the walls, floors have debri and appear to need to be vacuumed. Bathroom did not appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival.

The room stunk of smoke. Even the towels smelled like smoke. The shower was good even though it didn't look good. A little white paint at the top edge of the shower enclosure would make it look much better. There was a ramp so we didn't have to climb stairs.
