I was surprised not to find a wardrobe / closet in the room, nowhere to hang jackets or trousers. The coat hooks on the bathroom door were not fixed correctly. Otherwise the room & bathroom were clean and there was tea/coffee making facilities as well as a microwave available in the room. I would certainly consider using it again if I visited the area.

This hotel is infested with cockroaches, we did not stay the night. Due to booking through hotels.com the refused to give us a refund. They were kind enough to offer us a 20% discound for the night. I just shake my head, if you know you have an infestation deal with it.

Only stopped at this hotel after a long day driving and we wanted to be close to the 401 to continue our trip the next day. Staff at front desk was friendly. Advised us that the elevator was broken (not fun to climb four floors with heavy luggage). Not fun either that the front desk staff didn't put a sign the next day by the elevators to state that it was fixed. Room was clean and comfortable. Average breakfast for this type of hotel.

This motel was one of the better ones that I have stayed at. Needs a little TLC but it was a nice stay. Staff was friendly. Nice and easy to access our needs.. We are booking again next year.

Pros: the bed was comfortable Cons: nobody at the front desk to check in for 10 minutes, room was in poor condition, elevator was in disrepair and dirty, couldnt get a picture to come in clearly on the tv nor was it a smart tv so unable to log into any streaming services. No "do not disturb/do not clean" signs in the room. Asked front desk to NOT have anyone go in our room, came back and completely disregarded our request, cleaning person had been thru. Extremely noisy.

The last time I stayed here it was really nice, not so much anymore. They need a lot of maintenance and I was not the only person to say so when I was there. Our room’s bathroom door wouldn’t close, one of the TV’s didn’t have a cable box and so was useless. The other TV had the cable box balancing on top the TV because the cords weren’t long enough to reach the desk. The best part was that they had a decent breakfast included in the price. This could be a really nice place again with a bit of work. Unfortunately I won’t be staying there anytime soon.

Quiet area very near the GO train. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a well maintained hotel with comfortable rooms. I stay here with my son two or three times a year when we visit Toronto for a couple of nights from Ottawa.

The cleanliness was absolutely disgusting. Blackout curtains had stains over it(looked like blood to me).trim by bathroom door was filthy, back of bathroom door looked like it never had been cleaned.corner of shower and bathroom door had dirt and mold. The shampoo sample in shower was half full, obviously used by previous guests. Outdoor super 8 sign was so old and faded, you could not see the 8. ( I HAVE PICS OF THESE PROBLEMS). I must admit there were upgrades in some areas. I can’t help thinking of the saying…”you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig” Staff at check-in never smiled. VERY disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. Super 8 has a reputation of a low budget hotel ( but clean!) The Wyndham name has an above average reputation. I think they need to break ties before they bring the name down. We were with a large group, not one had a positive comment about the place. Even an unknown guest was complaining about there shower having black mold in it. I was told the front desk staff member said “ what do you want me to do about it?!!!!! Each time one of our parties complained, same answer, and since booked with a third party, “ you need to take it up with them”.

Staff without any smiles and almost no communication. Rooms needs repairs, shower door, bathroom fan, office chair… walls dirty… windows shades dirty.. weird smells in the corridor. Elevator noisy and smelly, felt unsafe.

We used two rooms for three guests. The hotel is not clean. The carpets in the hallways are dirty. The walls in the rooms are dirty. The bathrooms have mold. That said, the hotel was nearly full. In the end, we got what we paid for as the rate is lower than other hotels in the area.

The furniture is filthy.. Loveseat looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned.. TV's didn't work right drawers kept opening on the TV stand because the floors are warped.. Carpet in the hallway looks like it hasn't ever been cleaned.. disgusting.. Fridge didn't work right.. Kids yelling in the hallway till all hours because it is also a hostel there was a guy picking up his Welfare chq.. I've never seen dirtier floors in a pool area it was nasty & there's a big crack in the window in the pool area that should definately be replaced.. I will never stay there again and I won't recommend it to anyone.. Only reason I stayed there because it was cheap if I could have got my money back I would have cut the trip short and left.. from the outside it looks like a nice clean place but believe me it's not..

This hotel requires a refit on the inside.hallway carpets are stained,rooms are so so,bathrooms have rust,or mold in the showers. Prices are paying for renovations that haven’t happened yet
