The person at the front desk gave me a room on the ground floor very close to the exit as I requested. I greatly appreciated that! It was easy to bring things in/out and take my dog out when I needed. There was always plenty of poppy bags for her bathroom breaks. The breakfast was great and I appreciated being able to take it to my room since I couldn’t leave my dog alone. The room was huge! Lots of places to put my belongings. Very comfortable. This is close by restaurants and the outlets and freeways.

Front desk person was friendly and helpful. Had to move rooms. In first one tv didn’t work. In the second one AC rattled. Killed several spiders and bugs on the floor. This hotel desperately needs renovating.

Everything was so easy at check-in. Property is well maintained, with all amenities such as Keurig coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, work desk, corner chair with ottoman, relaxing tub in bath and Dove products. I stayed here last year on trip to California from Arizona and will continue to do so on each subsequent trip.

Amazing check in from the front desk when we arrived. The room we stay in has a couple crack on the bathroom floor and sink. But overall, we're only using the room for the night and dont expect everything to be perfect. We will stay here again if we ever travel in this direction again.

The front desk clerk was friendly unfortunately the pool wasn’t open at the time that I went. I got to my room. There were still trash near the window and the remote never worked for the TV. The breakfast wasn’t the best.

This is the worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever seen. Thank goodness the room was clean, the facilities were in terrible shape. The pool was slime green, all the exterior hall security doors were broken so they either didn’t open or didn’t close. Our bathroom tile was all broken up and the elevator inspection certificate had expired 8 months earlier. This hotel is just not being kept up. It’s a shame because Holiday Inn has such a good reputation.

Front desk people were nice, welcoming. Didn't like cockroach in the closet of our room. The bathroom needs scrubbing, the caulking is moldy and the fan was not functioning in the bathroom. TV remote didn't work right (we did get it switched but still couldn't use the HDMI function on the TV). Dining room chairs, while functional, have definitely seen better days. The vinyl is cracking and little pieces are falling off.

Great location near the outlet mall. Far enough off the freeway so there was not any freeway noise. Breakfast above par. Parking was easy. The hotel is clean and modern, WiFi worked great. Would we stay again? Well, our first stay was Tuesday while passing through. We are now spending Saturday night while heading home.

The hotel was dirty. When i went to check in, the temperature in the lobby was extremely hot. Check in time is 3, i checked in around 345 and my room wasnt ready and they had no ETA of when it would be done. The room had mold spores on the bathroom ceiling, the tub was so dirty it was brown, and carpet in the room had stains all over it. Also the shower had had so much calcium build up on it, it was spraying water all over the place. I only had to stay at this hotel due to a freeway closure, i honestly wasnt expecting much for a hotel in Barstow, CA.

The Holiday Inn in Barstow were very accommodating during the time when the 15 freeway was closed due to a fire. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and they even give us cookies at check-in.

Main complain was TV not working they said there was no tech available he had left, also AC was not working, they tried moving us to another room but smelled like cigarettes even though it was non smoking. Then during breakfast my kids were looking forward to waffles or pancakes they had neither also there oatmeal was instant not in pot like they show in pictures. Also when I checked in the lady could give me my room key her machine was not working she had to let me in with master key. Overall for a Holiday it was really run down. I was shocked.
